"You left him?? Alone with a murderer on the loose? Duncan what the heck is wrong with you" everyone watched as Courtney and Duncan argued unsure of what to say
Cody and Owen looked at each other both silently agreeing on what to do, Cody quickly grabbed a flashlight off the ground and Owen grabbed a makeshift spear Eva had made previously before both started off in the direction Duncans group had come from.
Everyone turned to them and followed not wanting them to risk getting caught by the murderer while also hoping to find noah on the way
Cody and owen seemed to be talking telepathically moving the in the same direction making the same decisions all without saying a word as if the risk of losing noah connected them in a way mot expected
As they got farther into the forest cody tripped landing in a puddle of blood "OH MY GOD" he backed up as quickly as he could and looked at the blood "oh no.. cody buddy you tripped over noahs book.." cody stared up at owen with tears forming in his eyes "we have to find him NOW"
Owen helped him stand up and they both looked around noticing a path of blood, they looked to each other and nodded following the red road before coming across the lake, the majestic lake that was turning a gruesome maroon due to the body floating by the dock
Owen froze not knowing how to react whole cody ran pulling the body out of the water and onto land turning him to his back staring at the knife in his shoulder its only purpose to cause pain and stop movement
He screamed his name as loud as he could as tears fell dropping onto his already wet vest, he pulled the vest off maneuvering it awkwardly around the knife before putting it on himself wanting nothing more than to be closer to his boyfriend
Owen watched the scene tears filling his eyes he didn't know how to react, his little buddy was gone he would never see him again never hear his sarcastic comments or hear him rant about his dog all because of duncan and some monster
Cody stood up and turned towards duncan tears still falling "ITS ALL YOUR FAULT HE HAD A FAMILY EIGHT SIBLINGS, TWO LOVING PARENTS, AND AN ADORABLE DOG NOW HE WILL NEVER SEE THEM AGAIN THEY WILL NEVER SEE HIM AGAIN" cody took a break to breath struggling between tears "YOU FUCKING MONSTER"
Owen finally broke sobbing hugging himself as tight as he could crying so loud nobody heard the foot steps coming towards them until cody screamed
"YOU" every one turned around and ran towards the water seeing the murderer right behind then everyone except cody, he grabbed the spear out of owens hands and charged at the man quickly moving in different ways to confuse the killer
He finally brought the spear down directly on the mans right shoulder exactly where he stabbed the knife into noah before taking it out and stabbing him again the the leg so he couldnt run like ezekiel tried
He pulled the spear down ripping his flesh like he did with tyler, he looked him in the eyes and cut his face just like justin forcing a smile on his face forever like beth, and finally he stabbed the spear into his forehead like lindsay
Everyone watched in horror as he took his anger out on the monster of a man noticing every detail of revenge not sure what they could say in the situation
Cody fell to the ground panting and still crying realizing what he had done "o-h dear g-god, what have i- what have i done?"
They all stood frozen not knowing what to do the man who tormented them and their friends was gone dying in a horrific way and the one who saved them was on the floor sobbing
Gwen was the first one to make a move crouching down to cody and consoling him, her movement triggered the others and they all started to try and calm cody down but nothing was working he was hyperventilating staring at the body in front of him and the blood that was literally on his hands
His crying stopped when he noticed flowers growing around him beautiful pink and white flowers that did not belong in the horrific scene, he looked up and saw a crow flying his way landing in front of him and cawing
"I've never seen a crow this close what does it want with cody?" Dj went to touch the crow but immediately pulled his hand back when it snapped at him turning back to cody and staring into his eyes
"Cody... thank you" their eyes shot up katies filling up with tears not knowing how to react "sa..sadie?" They saw the girl spots of flesh missing the pink and white flowers growing out of the rotting holes she looked at her best friend and nodded softly smiling
"You did it eh?" They looked to the right and saw lindsay holding ezekiels head with tyler having his elongated arm around her shoulder "you saved them man.. yall arent in danger anymore"
Cody couldnt speak they were alive?... no they were here but they couldnt be alive they seemed to be trapped on the island "we cant leave until we get our revenge thank you cody you did half of it for us" he looked around he could hear justin but where was he? Why was his voice echoey? "Look down"
Cody jumped when he saw a mirror at his knees justins veiny face shown instead of his own reflection "yeah not looking the hottest anymore huh?" Cody nodded not knowing how else to respond
"Lindsay.. i owe you an apology i treated you horribly and beth too i wish i could have done so before you died" lindsay smiled as much as she could with her mouth sewn shut
"We forgive you heather, she can't voice it but we both forgave you when we saw you change after our deaths" the raven turned around to see beth her cheerful smile still as wide as possible in such a horrific way "even in death you are one of the happiest girls i know"
Lindsay handed zekes head to tyler and ran over squishing both of them into a hug crying out of joy
Everyone watched the scene slightly smiling happy that the three got closure despite the unfortunate circumstances
"Guess im the last one im always fashionably late to everything" Cody froze tears once again forming in his eyes he turned towards the water to see the love of his life, he quickly ran over trapping the water logged boy in a tight hug sobbing at being able to speak to him again
"I love you so much cody im sorry we couldnt escape together like we had planned" duncan watched the two not knowing how to feel he had broken the two apart they will never be able to live the life they planned all because duncan was selfish
"Noah.. im sorry its my fault your dead I shouldn't have left you alone when i knew how dangerous it was" the spirit glared at him with his cloudy unforgiving eyes "at least you know what a fuck up you are, if i wasn't saving my energy for chris i would kill you right now"
The punk nodded looking down not surprised the nerd wants him dead
"Cody i need you to promise me something" the shorter boy looked at his love in the eyes waiting for his words "please tell my family i love them i want you to be the one to break the news and stay in contact with them you both would benefit from it" cody nodded knowing how heartbreaking it will be for his family
"And one more thing.. get a dog any breed and name them hazelnut for me i've always wanted a dog named hazelnut" cody snorted through his tears "i promise, i'de give you the world if ever asked".
Blah blah blah this is horrible in the end cody bought the island and built a cabin by the lake so he could stay close to all of the spirits especially noah. He is still in contact with his family and even goes to every holiday and birthday i've been working on this for a week and its so shitty im sorry😭
