Author’s Note
A/N: Wow, I was not expecting a reaction of that magnitude!
I did have two versions of this chapter written. One where she does forgive him and one where she doesn’t. As I have said to those who have sent me messages or commented, there is always more to the story than meets the eye. However, the chapter was judged very harshly and to be honest, though I welcome criticism at all levels, I was a bit taken back.
At the end of the day, I cannot please everyone. I have some readers that are wanting me to write my story truer to the movies (meaning that Fred did go with Angelina and it’s confirmed) and some that are telling me to do whatever I want, including one very interesting message that wanted “Fred” to be a Polyjuiced Malfoy… though why he would think about or know about Hermione and Fred being a “something”, I’m not sure how and what Malfoy would want to do with a heartbroken Hermione, I’m also not sure of… This is not a Dramione fic.
I had some feedback about wanting Hermione to forgive Fred immediately and some that were saying that that would never happen and that I did Hermione a disservice.
I typically don’t write for fan service and normally am happy with what I put out. But I wasn’t expecting these polarizing reactions.
I am saddened that some have chosen to un-Bookmark my story and not see it through (though I understand) and I know that you were enjoying the process up until this point.
Therefore, I will post a re-write by end of day today.
Please keep in mind that I am a person and that I can only handle so much. Messages including name calling will not be tolerated.
