"Merlin, I hate snow" Theodore grumbled as we walked onto the courtyard. He adjusted the black beanie that was on his head and cursed under his breath.

"Well, it's December Theodore... what did
you expect?" I mumbled. I honestly don't understand how anyone could hate winter
it's the best season off all. But what I didn't
like was the stupid snow getting in my hair.

"You've got Slughorn's Christmas party next week, have you decided if your going to go or not?" He questioned me.

If honest I forgot all about the party. "I think I am going to go...but definitely not by myself" I said, brushing the snow off of my shoulder onto the ground.

I was hoping that Theodore would ask me could he come but he hasn't yet and I definitely do not want to be standing in a corner alone the whole time.

"Well you know Slughorn wouldn't want me at his party knowing my fathers a death eater and all... so invite Iβ€”" Theodore explains.

"Absolutely not" I interrupted and glared quickly at him. Avoiding Ivy since early last month has been one of my top priorities. When she breaks up with that slag Jade maybe just maybe I'll reconsider my friendship with her.
He did nothing but laugh.

The two of us walked into libraryβ€” last year Rebekah would probably have paid to see the day Theodore Nott walks into a library. But since last month he's been coming here with me, at first it was studying for the test now it's just us reading books together.

I walk into the back of the library attempting to sit at the table I sit every time were hereβ€” only to be met by a Snogging Ron Weasley and Lavender Brown. Well, isn't this perfect.

I hadn't ran into Ron much these last few weeks. He's actually been a decent person and has been doing what I requested him to do.
But I'd be lying if I said I hadn't been sending quick glances his way.

Sudden anger filled my body I tried to convince myself that it was because they were sitting at the table that he knows I always sit in around this time. But this wasn't that type of anger this anger was something I've never felt before, it was jealousy.

"Mind not sticking your tongues down each other's throat in public places, lunch is coming up soon I plan on keeping my appetite" I sneered.

They pulled apart and he scoffed. "You don't own the Library, Rebekah" he hissed as he
sent me a glare.

"Yeah, your lucky I don't because if I did you, you fucking blood traitor.. wouldn't be in here" I snapped.

He rolled his eyes and went back into my snogging Lavender who couldn't seem more perplexed. I felt my stomach turn and to save myself from throwing up in my mouth I walked away with my fist balled up at my sides.

There was a feeling In my gut that he purposefully sat in there to snog his stupid girlfriend and that it wasn't a coincidence.

"I got all of the books you asked me to get" Theodore says, holding about ten books in his hands making me snort.

"Let's go find a table" I mumbled as I grabbed some of the books away from him. My eyes darted back to the table I just left. "Ours is being occupied"

Me and Theodore spent about two hours in the library together before he said something about detention with Snape before hurrying off. After a while I got bored and decided to go and put my books back.

As I walk with all of the books in my hand I come to the realization that it wasn't such a bright idea for me to carry them all by once because I couldn't see what was ahead of me.

I came crashing into someoneβ€” my books flew out of my hands and onto the ground as I stumbled backwards.

"Watch were your going, asshole" I snapped as I rubbed my head that two of my books fell on.
Ron mumbled something underneath his breath that I couldn't understand as he took a step forward and offered me his hand.

I huffed before grabbing onto his hand, he quickly pulled me up. My hands adjusted my black skirt that had got dust all over it from my fall.

"Wasn't a bright idea to carry all of those books by yourself was it Rebekah?" He chuckles softly as he kneels down to help me.

I push his hand away from one of my books and send him a scowl. "I don't need your help nor do I want it, just leave me alone" the last part came out so low that it was barely hearable.

"I'm not getting why your mad at me, I did what you asked me to do... did you forget that you walked to my table not the other way" he said as he stood up straight, placing the books he did pick up on the table.

"Ive been sitting at the table everyday since I was thirteen, but you knew that already didn't you?"I seethed back.

"Not everything I do is to piss off you.. the world doesn't always revolve around you Rebekah"He bit back.

"Doesn't it though?" I tease with an blank expression still on my face, hiding the smirk that was trying to force its self on my lips.

"Daddy's probably told you that it does but reality check it doesn't.."Ron snapped as he glowered down at me.

I frown and tilt my head. "But my daddy never lies, so if he says the world is in my hands trust me it is" I cooed.

"I thought you said everyone lies?"

I gave him no response and picked up my books, the ones I couldn't carry floating
behind me. A little huff left my lips before I went stomping over to the astronomy section where these books came from.

When I heard loud footsteps following behind me my head snapped backβ€” before I could even process what's going on I was being thrown onto a wall. Making my books fall out of my hands, again.

"No, you don't get to do that anymore" He retorted, both of his hands placed on the wall next to each side of my head.

My back came in contact with the wall hard and it hurts like hell. My eyes screw shut as my back arches and a low winces leaves my slightly parted lipsβ€” I hadn't noticed that we were now chest to chest until I felt a hand wrap around my waist, I was no longer able to move back.

"What can't Iβ€”I do anymore?" I splutter lowly, my brown eyes piercing into his blue ones.

"Walk away when we're having a conversation, didn't someone teach you that it was rather rude to do thaβ€”"He said, sharply.

"What does it matter to you, hem? Me walking away from a conversation of someone who doesn't have a liking for me..I think it's rather common sense" I poke aggressively at his chest.

He chuckled, the small laugh spiteful and low.
"It doesn't matter if I like you our not Moons, it's still wrong to walk away when I wasn't done talking to you" he hissed.

"Okay well, tell me Ron what is it that you want with me? To question me about the bell girl because I'll tell you for the hundredth time that I'm not into that stuβ€”" I rambled, attempting to wiggle out of his grip but he wouldn't budge.

He tsked and shook his head. His hand went up to the pendant round my neck. "Then why do you wear this? If your not into it" I knew that it was more of a rhetorical question which is why I didn't respond.

"I'm talking to you Rebekah"His other hand lifted up my chin with his fingers making me look up at him.

"I heard you... I'm just choosing not to respond" I mumbled reluctantly, screwing my eyes shut trying not to meet his intense gaze.

A loud gasp leaves my lips when I felt my necklace being snatched offΒ  from around my neck. My eyes shoot open and I look at him.
Unsureness feels my mind when I feel my stomach flutter and cheeks grow warm.

"Wβ€” what did you just do?" I stutter, looking down into his hands that he had my pendant lying in.

"You didn't respond to me so I assume you didn't want it..." He shrugged as he tossed my pendant to the side of him.

My hands shoved as his chest as hard as I could making him stumble back. A groan left my lips as I ran off in attempt to find my pendant.
"Your such an arsehole!" I yelled as my hand patted aroundβ€” he stood leaning against the book case with a large grin on his face.

"I'm just helping you out Rebekah, I don't think it's very wise for you too be wearing
stuff that represents him who must not be named"Ron mumbled.

I scoffed. "You mean Voldemort? And you only don't want me wearing that because your little girlfriend is a mudβ€”" I sneered.

"Watch your mouth" he warned.

I finished my sentence under my breath, sending him ugly glances every time I looked up. Joy filled my body when I finally found my necklaces, I picked it up and shoved it into the pocket of my black winter coat.

"I'm guessing you want me to put it on" he grumbled, unfolding his arms from his chest with an annoyed expression on his face.

An innocent smile grows on my face as I slowly walk back over towards him. I gathered my hair from my shouldersβ€” I'd found out that the night of the party Blaise dared me to cut my hair and because I was totally out of my mind I did it.

I slightly jumped when I felt him run his fingers down the back of my neck. "You have a nice neck, Rebekah" he complimented softly.

"You know what would make it look better? hβ€”" I smirked.

"Shove off" he spat, before walking away, the sound of his heavy foot steps filling the library.
Wait he didn't even put my necklace onβ€”
He still has my fucking necklace.

My eyebrow raised and a high squeal left my lips. I looked around to see where he went but he was no where in sight. That sticky handed blood traitor stole my necklace.

He couldn't have gotten to far, it's been nothing over five minutes since he left. I hoped that he didn't run back into the Gryffindor towerβ€”although I could easily disguise myself as someone In their I don't turn into anything or anyone unless theirs no other choice.

"Hi Rebe" my brother greeted with a proud grin on his face as he approached me. That's one happy motherfucker, he just grins for nothing all the time.

"Nathaniel, what's that smile upon your face on?" I questioned dryly, my eyes darting down the corridors we walked past looking for Ron.

"Oh, nothing aren't you excited for the Celestial trip next week dear sister? Bloody hell who knows who I'll get paired up witβ€” who you'll get paired up with.." he chuckled.

I ignored his naggingβ€” my gloved covered hands that had snow all over them put my beanie back onto my head as I walked.
After that my hands flew to my pockets and I slightly shivered, Merlin I love winter but how cold it is makes no sense at all.

"Who would you like to be paired up with?" I only asked so that he'd think that I was listening to what he was saying which I totally wasn't. Right now I have bigger things to worry about, like where the fuck is this orange boy with my pendant?

"Rebe, are you listening to me?"

My eyes snapped to him and I shook my headβ€” at least I was being honest I could've lied and said yes and ended up being oblivious in this situation.

"I'm thinking about asking Cook to come with me to Slughorns party, is her and Jade like serious?" His face filled with curiosity as he looked down at me.

I shrugged. "Not really, go for it" I suggested because in real life they weren't even dating.
If they were going to try to make someone jealous they could at-least do it right by
making the situation semi-believable.

Suddenly I feel the weight of my pocket increase a little. There was no way I had my necklace this whole fucking time. I've spent the last thirty minutes looking for him and this stupid pendant was in my pocket the whole time. But I hadn't felt it in there earlier, so how did it just appear in there? Better question, if Ron was beyond dead awful at using his wand how did he say a curse that brought me my necklace?

The world may never fucking know.
