I stood awkwardly as my father gave my twin brother a pep talk, dusting the imaginary dust off his shoulders.

Quickly becoming bored - my eyes glance around the train station as I adjust the black turtle neck around my neck.

Hundreds of first years exited for their coming to Hogwarts, little did they know this pathetic place called a school was a shit hole.

"Rebekah" My father firmly said, from his tone I could tell that he'd called my name multiple times.

But when I was zoned out I'd admit that it was pretty hard to get back to this hell of a place I call reality.

My eyebrow raised - It was a way I responded to someone without using my words to let them know that I was listening.

"I know that you will exceed the expectations of making me a proud father" His voice was stern and his eyes piercing my brown ones.

Nathaniel, my brother, silently scoffed and rolled his eyes at the praising of me from my father.

This is something that my father did often .
Although I liked being superior than other people, It wasn't the most favorable thing to me that him doing this brought a damper in me and Nathaniel's relationship. Don't get me wrong we were still close just not as close as we were before Hogwarts.

"Yes father, I will" I replied dryly, playing with the sliver pendant around my neck that I probably shouldn't be wearing in the open.

But father approved of it, although he didn't say the words I could tell by that amusement in his face.

"We have to go or we'll miss the express" Nathaniel interrupted loudly as he saw my father open his mouth.

I never noticed how much they looked alike until this moment. Well , other than the fact my brother was about two heads taller than my dad. The only difference between the two is my fathers laugh lines and he doesn't have locs like Nathaniel.

My father sighs, "And I beg you to please write Stephanie, weather you like her or not at the end of the day she is still your mother" he handed me Valkyrie's cage.

Unknowingly, my head nodded and a half-smile spreads across my lips. Their was a ninety-nine percent chance I wasn't going to write my mother, but I figured lying and saying I was would would get him off of my back. And like always I was correct.

Once me and Nathaniel board onto the train he hurry's off towards the prefects compartment, I still don't know how Snape made that absurd person a prefect instead of me.

Even if I didn't like it coming out of anyone else's mouth I was fifty times better than my stupid twin brother in everything, even Qudditch.

My feet stops it's walking and I look in the carriage that was in front of me, failing in attempt to my find my friend group.

Where could those piece of shits be?

A disapproving gasp leaves my mouth when someone's grabs onto my waist. But when I look down and see a hand covered in rings I suck my teeth.

"Theodore! You scared me you asshole" I hissed turning around, meeting a laughing Theodore, Blaise, and Ivy.

Even if sometimes they were the rather aggravating type I wouldn't trade the three of them for anything - we'd been friends since childhood; it's always been the four of us.

Well, first it was Theodore, Blaise, and me . Our parents were best-friends and practically raised us like siblings- the three of us met Ivy in the middle of second year when she transferred from Beauxbatons. She was kinda like a leech at first, hanging out with us even though unwanted, but let's just say that she's grown on us.

"Rebekah, you know it doesn't hurt to write me or even come and visit" Theodore said lowly as he rubbed the part of his chest I hit.

Blaise eyebrow rose and his dark brown eyes darted to me. "No shit, she didn't write you guys either? I thought she was dropping me or something" he laughed.

"No, I just didn't want to waste calories I burn writing you guys when I was going to see you in less than a month" I mumbled as Ivy dragged me into a compartment. "and I don't think I received a letter from either of you either"

Honestly, my father didn't let me write Theodore or Blaise because he's suspicious that something happened during the past school years with one of them.

Although something did happened with Theodore my stupid father has no right to assume that kind of stuff about me, I find it offensive.

Ivy and me took a seat on one side and the boys took a seat across from us . My legs cross and I pulled down my black tennis skirt.

"Where's Draco?" The question came out of my mouth unintentionally low.

A perplexed look grew on my face for a quick second as the boys looked at each other with knowing looks.

"The two of you going to respond to my question or keep looking at each other with that dense look on your face ?"

Blaise cleared his throat and decided to speak.
When he began to twist the rings on his fingers I knew whatever was about to come out of his mouth was complete bullshit.

"I actually don't know, like you, he hasn't written to us all summer - well he did once telling us not to write him" he said.

My gloved hands placed the cigarette in between my lips and Theodore quickly lit it up with the tip of his wand. "Interesting"

"You won't guess who he's dating though" Ivy hissed, pushing a strand of her dyed blue hair behind her ear.

My eyebrow raises and my lips pressed in a thin line. Please, don't let who I think it is, if that name come out of their mouth, fucking plea-

"Pansy Parkinson" Aversion easily detected in Theodores thick voice when he said that. My hand that wasn't holding the cigarette slapped over my face and I groaned. "I accidentally walked into a carriage and saw them doing some unrespectable things"

Most girls in Slytherin would probably die to date thee Draco Malfoy. So it's not really understandable on why he would choose to date her off all people.

Them dating meant that she would be hanging out with us whenever Draco would. Although I wouldn't count him in our close group he still spent most of his free time with us.

In my opinion I think me and him were sort of like friends that would only talk if no else we knew was there.

He only hung us with our group for Theodore and Blaise most definitely not me, I don't think that we've had one actual conversation a day in our life.

"Do you guys want something from the trolley? I'm craving some chocolate frogs" Ivy said, her hispanic accent breaking through her English one. She searched in her trunk for what I'm guessing is her purse.

The three of us shook their head and Ivy put a little smile on her lips and nodded. Blaises eyes didn't leave her lower half as she walked out of the carriage.

My eyebrow raised in curiosity as the dark-skinned boy looked at his friend aside him with a grin and Theodore replied with a scoff.

"Blaise" I tilted my head and blew smoke out of my mouth. "Please don't tell me you spent the summer fucking our leech"

Theodore let out a dark chuckle and shook his head. Earning a elbow to the ribcage from Blaise.

"Hey, Moons don't ask me about what happened durning the summer and I won't ask what happened on Theo's birthday" Blaise smirked.

My eyes rolled and I put the cigarette back in between my plum painted lips. It was a lot of untold secrets about what happened during Theodore's birthday.

The brunette boy sighed and ran his hand through his hair. "Blaise, I've told you this millions of time and I'll tell you again nothing happe-"

Before he could finish his sentence the sound of a knock on the compartment door filled the room.

The door slid open and a second year with blonde hair stood with a parchment paper in each hand. "I was told to give this to you two" they said handing me and Blaise the parchment paper.

I unrolled it and My eyes squinted as they examined parchment - the invitation to be correct.

The new teacher was inviting me for lunch, well, us because Blaise received one as well.

"Slughorn?" Asked Theodore who was looking over Blaise's shoulder reading the invitation, his face turns into a scowl. I assume from not getting one.

"Daddy says he's some old teacher that Dumbledore asked to come back, potions, in particular" I said as I rolled the cigarette in between the pad of my fingers. "What does he want with us? that I don't know"

Blaise smirked, "I mean, it's us ... everyone wants us" he bantered. I cringed at his comment and rolled my eyes.

When he was about to stand up perplex grew on my face. He seriously wasn't about to go to that stupid thing?

"What? Might as well see what it is he wants, your not coming?" He asked.

I shook my no - he shrugged and mumbled something about your loss before walking out of the compartment.

Leaving only me and Theodore, making me instantly regret not going with Blaise. Now things were going to be beyond awkward.

After the night of his sixteenth birthday party a few months ago few words had been exchanged between us.

"So how was your summer?" Theodore questioned, nibbling nervously on his lower lip.

I looked up from the armrest I was pressing my cigarette against "Fine, yours?".

"Same" he mumbled. "You should probably go looking for cook, she's been gone for about half an hour"

I nodded. He probably said that to save both of us from this conversation filled with the most awkward tension.

My arms swung at my sides as I walked down the train, trying my best not to bump into the third years who seemed to be the same size as me.

Oddly, it seemed as if almost every girl had blue hair which made it incredibly hard to find Ivy. Where the fuck did she go?

Ivy always seems to wonder of for hours to god knows where and I always have to be the one to go find her.

My eyes landed on my hand and I tilted my head. I began to pick at my finger nails, I was definitely going to need a fresh paint before next week.

I must've been to caught up in my thoughts because next thing I knew I came crashing into something hard making me stumble back.

Just as I was about to make a fool of myself and fall on the ground an arm wrapped around my waist, catching me just in time.

The thanking was about to roll off of my tongue- but I looked up and seen who it was that caught me and shut my mouth.

A low gag of disgust left my lips "I knew I sensed bad energy, get off of me, fucking twat!" I hissed pushing myself out of his grip.

I'd rather fall than on the ground and buss my ass than be caught by Ron fucking Weasley.
My hands dusted off the part where he touched me at, filthy.

"A thank you wouldn't hurt" he said, rolling his light blue eyes.

I could feel the heat radiating from body when I seen that stupid prefect bag on his chest, There's never been a moment I hated more than last year when I found him and that stupid Mudblood had been made prefects.

A scoff from disbelief left my mouth and I folded my arms. "Thank you? I'd rather be turned into a bug than thank you" I seethed.

"Fuck you Moons, keep your sorry ass apology" The red head seethed.

"Don't worry I was planning on doing that, now excuse me I have somewhere much better to be" I respond.

As I was about to push past him I noticed his eyes glued to my chest- my pendant in pacific.
The most satisfied smirk reached my lips as I lifted the white gold pendant up with my index finger.

"Like it?" I cooed basically shoving the skull shaped pendant that had snakes coming out of its mouth in his now read face.

I knew that him and his inferior flock detested the support of the dark lord and if being honest I did too - I just liked the symbol. But he didn't know that so why not piss him off.

His hand went reaching for his wand and I took a step back, smirking. "Woah, didn't your mummy teach you to play nice?" I whisper in a cocky tone.

The feeling of a wand coming in contact with my collarbone made my smirk widen.

"I'm warning you now Rebekah, I'm not in the mood for you foolishness this year, so fuck off" he snarled.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know that you could tell
The future- I mean you know what mood your going to be in for the rest of the year, pretty impressive especially from someone from bloodline full of shame" I hiss, snatching his wand out of his hand.

The smirk returns to my lips as I walk towards the opposite side of the train, throwing his wand to him just before I was no longer in his sight.

Some may say that I'm a rather harsh person towards him but I mean it's just so entertaining to watch him loose his temper and his face change to the color of his stupid hair.

A humorless laugh leaves my lips and I shook my head. He had some nerves, who does he think he is 'warning me'. Has he lost the little brain cells that Granger has lend him? Because that's the only solution.

And you know what? Just for that I'll make this year beyond hell for that fucking blood traitor.

I walked inside of the carriage I saw that my friends relocated in with a bag of jelly slugs in my hand - I'd gotten bored looking for them so I stopped at the trolley.

"He invited Longbottom?" I overheard Draco say with venom dripping from his voice as I entered.

"Who invited Longbottom?" I question lowly, throwing a jelly slug in my mouth as I took a seat beside Blaise.

Draco placed his head back in Parkinson's lap as he said. "That new teacher, Slu-" he hissed.

In this middle of him talking I tuned him out, something besides the trunks count my eye, it was like the trunks moved or something. Maybe we made a sharp turn and it caused movement to them.

But then the bags moved again - I'll be damned if there wasn't someone or something up there.

"I'll admit, she's not hard to look at but I wouldn't touch her if she was the last slag on earth" Nathaniel hissed from the table beside us, knocking me out of my thinking.

When my eyes finally left the trunks it landed on Draco he was looking up as well with confusion plastered on his face- he saw it too.

"You know that's probably how they feel about your sister over here" Theodore murmurs, gesturing towards me.

That comment finally snapped me back to reality - I hadn't even noticed I had my head on Blaises shoulder.

"Who? And how do they feel about me" I questioned sharply, raising my thick dark eyebrow.

"Potter and his freak friends, they probably think your fit but wouldn't touch you for obvious reasons" Pansy says annoyingly making Draco scoff.

I smirked cockily, "Understandable, I-I mean it's me, I'd want to fuck me as well" I say silkily.

Theodore and Blaise exchange sarcastic mutters, thinking I couldn't hear them.
I slightly lift my head up from Blaises shoulder and scowl at Theodore.

"I don't want to hear that!" Nate exclaimed, over dramatically putting his hand over his ears.

Before I could say something else Draco cut me off with that Slughorn crap once again. I don't know why it's such a big idea he didn't get invited it's not even like he's well connected anymore.

Weirdly, I found myself looking up next to the trunks the remaining of the ride. Ignoring Draco basically shouting out that he was as a death eater, but Slytherin's aren't the brightest batch so they didn't catch on.

"I can see hell," Theodore groaned pointing at the window. "let's get our robes on"

Once all of us got in these robes they all hurried out of the carriage yelling something about not wanting to miss the carriages.
Leaving only me, Malfoy and a waiting Parkinson.

"Go on" Draco instructed me and Pansy, running his hand through his ring covered hand.

Pansy shot him a perplex look before following behind Blaise and Theodore.

"Not tall enough to reach my trunk" I mumbled pointing up and standing up on my tipped toes.
Which was a lie I was perfectly capable of getting my own trunk. I just wanted to see something.

As Draco reached for my something moved again and that gave me confirmation that there was something up there. Without thinking I pulled out my wand.

"Petrificus Totalus!" Draco said before I could.
Something fell and a yelp escaped my lips - I guess I wasn't expecting something to actually be up there I was a very paranoid human being.

When it hit the ground and whatever was on him fell off and revealed Harry Potter laying on the ground looking sort of lifeless, shocker.

I looked over to Draco with a sort of perplex look as he grinned at Harry- well talking to him now.

I slightly jumped when he stepped on his face and threw the cloth back over him.

"C'mon Moons!" Draco calls, walking out of the carriage.

An odd expression grew on my face as I grabbed onto my trunk. My feet hurried me out of the carriage.

Then I stopped dead in my tracks and slapped my hand over my face.

Sometimes my mind does the awful thing, it makes this scenario when I'm in someone else's position. And at this very moment that's what it was doing.

Although leaving that blood traitors best friend on a train paralyzed would be kind of sweet.
Watching his stupid face when he comes to realization that Harry's missing.

But that would just be evil and although I'm not the best person in the world I don't have time to have that nagging shit on my conscious.

"Ugh!" I yell as I storm back into the carriage, gripping tightly on my wand.

I kick around for a moment unable to see Harry because Draco threw that stupid invisibility cloth - when I finally found him I mumbled the finite spell and he slowly stood up.

By his expressions I could tell that he was surprised that I came back for him and honestly I was too.

"Thanks" he uttered lowly.

"Please, don't thank me, I'm counting this as my charity get the fuck out of my way Potter" I flipped my hair off of my shoulder as I pushed past him.

God, I hope I don't regret helping him.
