A WAKE-UP CALL TO REMEMBER 🔞

Next Morning

Saint POV

The warmth of the morning sunlight seeped through the thin curtains, its soft glow painting the room in shades of gold. I stirred, the heaviness of sleep slowly giving way to a peaceful awareness. This is the best sleep I've gotten in a long time. My body felt deliciously heavy, cocooned in the soft sheets and the comforting weight of Shin's arm draped lazily around my waist.

For a moment, I stayed still, savoring the quiet. My eyes opened just enough to take in the sight before me. Shin was still fast asleep, his face relaxed and peaceful, lips slightly parted. His hair was a messy halo against the pillow, and his steady breaths brushed faintly against my chest.

He looked so calm, so perfect, like he belonged there in my arms. A warmth spread through my chest, a mix of affection and disbelief. How did I get so lucky?

My fingers itched to brush the strands of hair from his face, to trail along the curve of his cheek, but I didn't want to disturb him. Instead, I just watched, my heart full to bursting. As if sensing my thoughts, Shin stirred slightly, his fingers curling lightly against my side. The movement made me smile, a warmth blooming in my chest that I couldn't quite put into words.

But just as I was savoring the moment, something else made itself known.

A very real and very uncomfortable sensation.

I froze.

No, no, no… not now.

Panic rose in my chest as I registered exactly what was wrong. My breath caught, and I forced myself to stay perfectly still, not daring to move an inch lest I wake him.

"Shit," I muttered under my breath, my eyes darting toward the ceiling as if pleading with the universe for mercy.

Because the last thing I wanted was for Shin to wake up and realize this.

Of all mornings...… Why this one?

.

I shifted uncomfortably under the sheets, trying my best to ignore the traitorous part of my body that decided to make this moment unforgettable—in the worst possible way. Stay calm, Saint. You can handle this. I mentally chanted the words like a mantra, willing myself to focus on anything other than the very real, very embarrassing situation at hand. My mind raced for a solution, but every possible escape plan involved waking Shin, and that was a risk I couldn’t take.

Not after last night.

It was our first night sleeping together as boyfriends—not as best friends —a milestone, and one I'd been stupidly excited about. But waking up like this? I was pretty sure I was breaking some unspoken rule about how mornings after were supposed to go. I focused on keeping my breaths slow and even, though every muscle in my body screamed to get up and put some distance between us.

Just breathe. He's still asleep. You've got time to fix this.

I carefully slid my hand toward the pillow resting strategically over my lap, inching it down for extra coverage. My movement must've jostled him, though, because Shin stirred, his fingers pressing a little more firmly against my side before slowly retracting. My breath hitched, and I prayed he wouldn't wake up. Please stay asleep, please stay asleep Shin.

As if to spite me, Shin let out a soft groan and shifted, his head burying further into the crook of my shoulder. His warmth seeped into me, his presence so natural yet overwhelmingly intimate.

I felt him stretch slightly, his legs brushing against mine, and my whole body tensed. Damn it, Shin! Why now?

"Mm… Morning…" his voice was low and groggy, laced with a lazy contentment that made my heart stumble in its rhythm.

"Morning," I croaked, my throat suddenly dry.

His arm tightened around my waist as he stretched, his body pressing just a little closer to mine. I froze, every nerve in my body going haywire.

His eyes blinked open fully "You okay?" Shin asked, propping himself up slightly to look at me. His messy hair and sleepy smile were unfairly adorable, and I felt my face heat up.

"Yeah! Fine! Totally fine!" The words tumbled out too fast, too high-pitched to be convincing.

Shin blinked, his brows furrowing slightly as he seemed to take in my stiff posture and overly wide smile. And then—because of course he would—his lips curled into a slow, mischievous grin.

He propped himself up on one elbow, his eyes narrowing playfully. "Wait a second…" His gaze swept over me, and I could practically see the gears turning in his head as his gaze dropped to the pillow clutched tightly over my lap.

"Don't," I warned, already knowing where this was going.

But Shin was like a bloodhound on a scent. He sat up fully, his curiosity now fully awake. "Saint," he said, his voice taking on that teasing lilt that always made me want to kiss him. "Are you hiding something from me?"

"No!" I said quickly, clutching the pillow tighter. "Absolutely not. Nothing to hide!"

He tilted his head, pretending to think. "Hmm. Then why are you acting so weird?"

"I'm not acting weird!"

"You're totally acting weird," he countered, a wicked gleam in his eyes. "And now I really want to know why."

"Shin, seriously—don't," I said, my voice edging on desperate.

But he was already moving. Before I could stop him, he lunged for the pillow. I yelped, twisting away and holding on for dear life.

"Shin, Please....stop!" I managed, trying to keep the pillow in place.

"Oh no, you don't!" he laughed, wrestling me for it. "Come on, Saint, let me see!"

"It's not what you think!" I protested, though the heat in my face and the way I was clutching the pillow said otherwise.

"Then prove it!" he shot back, his grin widening as he finally managed to tug the pillow free.

I scrambled to cover myself with the blanket, but Shin was faster, yanking it away with an almost triumphant laugh. His eyes immediately dropped, and his grin turned downright devilish.

"Well, well, well," he said, leaning back and crossing his arms like he'd just won the lottery. "Looks like someone had a… good sleep."

Heat exploded across my face as I scrambled to sit up, trying to put some distance between us. I groaned, covering my face with my hands. "Kill me now."

"Are you kidding?" he said, clearly relishing every second of my humiliation. "This is amazing. You're so flustered right now." He said, his smirk widening as he moved closer again, his hand brushing deliberately against my side.

"Shin," I begged, peeking at him through my fingers. My voice shaky and my hands gripping the sheets like a lifeline.

"Can you please just… forget this happened?"

"Forget it? Are you kidding?" He laughed, leaning in closer. "This is going straight into my mental scrapbook. Our first morning as boyfriends, and you wake up like this? Priceless."

"You're the worst," I muttered, my voice muffled by my hands.

"Relax, Saint," he said, his tone dripping with mischief. "It's natural, you know. You don't have to act like it's the end of the world."

I groaned, covering my face with my hands, wishing the earth would just swallow me whole. "You're so annoying." I muttered.

"And today, you're so easy to tease." he shot back, leaning in close enough that I could feel the heat of his breath against my ear.

"Shin, stop!" I pleaded, my voice barely above a whisper. But he didn't stop. If anything, my embarrassment seemed to fuel his amusement.

"As well you're so adorable today," he shot back, poking me in the side just to make me squirm.

"Shin, I swear to—"

Before I could finish, he grabbed a nearby pillow and started playfully smacking me with it. "Admit it! You're all hot and bothered because of me, aren't you?"

"Stop it!" I laughed, trying to fend him off.

"Admit it!" he insisted, his laughter contagious as he continued his attack.

"Fine! Yes! Are you happy now?" I yelled, grabbing a pillow of my own and smacking him back.

"Very," he said, grinning like a Cheshire cat as he caught my wrist and pulled me closer.

The sudden proximity made me freeze, my heart pounding in my chest. His teasing expression softened just a little, his gaze flicking to my lips before meeting my eyes again.

"You're so cute when you're flustered," he murmured, his voice lower now.

"Shinn....," I muttered, though the heat in my face probably ruined the effect.

He leaned in, pressing a soft, lingering kiss to my lips that left me momentarily dazed. When he pulled back, his grin was back in full force.

"But seriously," he added, his tone light and teasing. "If this is how you wake up after one night, I can't wait to see what happens after a week."

I groaned, burying my face in the pillow. "Oi... Shin... Please."

"Hey," he said quietly, tugging the pillow away from my face. His voice softened, carrying a warmth that made my heart stutter. "It's okay. Really."

I swallowed hard, the sincerity in his tone cutting through my embarrassment. "You're enjoying this way too much," I muttered, though my voice lacked its usual bite.

"Maybe," he admitted with a soft chuckle.

"But can you blame me? It's not every day I get to see you flustered like this. Also a golden chance to tease." His tone dropped, lower and smoother, sending a shiver through me. "I think I'll savor it."

"Shin," I said weakly, my voice barely audible as I struggled to keep my composure.

Instead of responding, he shifted closer, a playful smirk dancing on his lips. His hands pressed lightly against my shoulders as he gently nudged me to lean back against the headboard. My heart pounded as he swung a leg over, settling himself in my lap with deliberate slowness.

"Shin," I whispered, my voice catching in my throat.

"What?" he asked innocently, though the sparkle in his eyes betrayed him. "I'm just making myself comfortable."

His proximity was intoxicating, his warmth seeping through the thin fabric of his shirt as he leaned closer. My hands, unsure of what to do, hovered awkwardly before finally resting hesitantly on his waist. The curve of his grin deepened, and I felt my face flush.

Every nerve in my body on high alert as he leaned in closer, his hands resting lightly on my chest. His face was mere inches from mine now, his breath warm against my skin.

"You're impossible," I muttered, my cheeks burning hotter than ever.

"Am I?" he murmured, his voice dropping into a softer, more intimate tone. He tilted his head, his lips brushing the shell of my ear as he spoke. "Or do you secretly like this?"

My breath hitched, and I could feel the corners of his smile against my skin. I wanted to retort, to say something clever, but the words were caught somewhere in my throat, tangled with the thundering beat of my pulse.

"Shin," I managed, my voice shaky and uneven, "you're... too close."

"And yet," he teased, pulling back just enough to meet my gaze, his eyes dark and searching, "you haven't told me to move."

He wasn't wrong and that realization only made my blush deepen. His boldness made my heart race. His fingers lightly toyed with the hair at the nape of my neck, his touch maddeningly gentle, almost reverent. Every nerve in my body seemed to ignite under his touch, and I struggled to maintain what little composure I had left.

"You're unbelievable," I said, though my voice was more breathless than I'd intended.

He grinned, leaning back slightly to look me in the eyes. "And you're adorable, like this..." he countered, his fingers tracing light, teasing patterns against my chest.

"Shin, stop teasing," I said, my voice half a plea and half a command.

"But why would I stop?" he asked, tilting his head playfully. "This is way too much fun." His teasing continued, his hands shifting to rest on my shoulders as he leaned in again. "You're so cute," he whispered, his tone equal parts amused and affectionate.

I closed my eyes, trying to focus on anything other than the way his weight felt on my lap, the warmth of his hands, and the mischievous glint in his eyes. But it was impossible-he was everywhere, his presence overwhelming in the best and most maddening way.

"Shin," I managed again, my voice trembling with a mix of frustration and something deeper.

He chuckled softly, leaning closer until our foreheads touched. "Relax, Saint," he murmured, his tone softening. "I've got you."

And somehow, that was all it took to melt my defenses entirely.

AU POV

Shin's warm hands move to Saint's hips, his thumbs stroking the sensitive skin there, making Saint gasp. He looks up through his lashes, a sultry smile playing on his lips. "You're so tense," he whispers, his voice a sweet caress.

Saint tries to protest, but the words die in his throat as Shin's hand slides down to gently cup his erection through the fabric of his pants. "Shin.... I-I don't need..." he starts, his voice trailing off.

Shin's smile turns into a grin as he leans in closer, his breath hot against Saint's cheek."Oh, but I think you do," he murmurs, his hand moving to unbutton Saint's pants.

Saint hesitates as he tries to pull away, but Shin's grip is firm, his eyes filled with a gentle insistence. "Let me take care of you, Don't forget, I'm your boyfriend now, Saint" he says, his voice is a low, seductive purr.

Shin seems to sense his struggle and leans in to whisper,"It's okay, I've got this, believe me...." before capturing Saint's mouth again in a deep, claiming kiss.

Shin's fingers deftly removed Saint's shirt, pulling it over his head. His eyes never leaving Saint's. The fabric falls open, revealing the soft planes of Saint's chest. His chest is flushed and heaving with every breath he takes. He runs his hands over the warm skin, his fingertips tracing the line of Saint's collarbone before moving lower to tease his nipples.

Saint gasps, arching into the touch. His hands move to grip the back of Shin's neck, pulling him closer. They kiss deeply, their tongues dancing together as Saint's hands roam underneath Shin's shirt, feeling the firm muscles of his back.

Breaking the kiss, Shin smiles down at Saint. Shin's eyes scanned, taking in the sight of his  lover's bare skin, his pupils dilating with desire. His eyes filled with love. "You look so good... ," he whispers, his voice reverent.

With trembling hands, Saint helps Shin remove his own shirt, taking in the sight of his bare chest. He runs his fingers over the defined muscles, his touch tentative at first, but growing bolder as he feels the warmth of Shin's skin against his own.

As Shin continues to unbutton Saint's pants, his eyes never leave Saint's, searching for any signs of doubt or hesitation. Finding none, he smiles against Saint's mouth before pulling away to slip the fabric down his legs.

Saint's cock springs free, standing tall and proud between them. Shin's eyes widen slightly in amazement at the size of it, a soft gasp escaping his lips. "You're so..hard. " he starts, but the words don't quite come out. He's speechless for a moment, staring at the glistening tip of Saint's cock.

Saint's face is a picture of pure mortification, his hands flying to cover himself. "It's not that...," he mumbles, his voice barely audible.

Shin chuckles, gently pushing Saint's hands aside. "You're perfect, every inch of you, " he says, his voice filled with wonder. Shin leans in, pressing soft kisses along Saint's collarbone, his hands moving to trace the lines of his torso. His breath hot against Saint's skin.

Saint blushes, He can't believe this is happening, can't believe that someone as amazing as Shin wants him like this.

Shin leans down to capture Saint's mouth again, his tongue delving deep as he grinds against him. Saint's moan is muffled by their kiss as Shin's hands explore his bare skin, his fingers digging into the firm muscle.

Saint's cock bobs against his stomach, flushed and hard. Shin's eyes are glued to it, his own arousal evident in his heavy breathing.

Their kisses become sloppy, desperate as they lose themselves in each other.

Shin leans back slightly, taking Saint's full length in his hand. He strokes it slowly, watching the way Saint's body responds to every touch. "I want to make you feel good," he says, his voice earnest. Saint nods, his hips moving in a silent plea. Saint's eyes roll back in his head as pleasure shoots through him.

With a soft smile, Shin leans in to kiss Saint again, their bodies pressed tightly together. The kiss is deep and hungry, full of passion and love.

Shin's grip is firm, his strokes long and slow. Saint can't help but moan into the kiss as he feels his orgasm building.

They kiss deeply, their bodies moving together in a silent dance of love and lust. Shin's hand works wonders, bringing Saint closer and closer to the edge.

The moment of climax is upon them, and Saint's body tenses, his back arching off the bed. "I'm going to cum, Shin.... Please" he gasps.

But Shin seems to know exactly what he needs. He pulls back and looks up at Saint, his eyes filled with love and determination. "Yes... Love...cum for me" he whispers, his thumb circling the sensitive spot just beneath the head of Saint's cock.  His hand moving faster, bolder, urging Saint over the edge.

The final touch sends Saint over the edge. With a cry of pleasure, his body shaking with the force of his orgasm, and he cums with a strangled cry, his body jerking as ropes of white hot pleasure paint Shin's chest and face.

Shin pulls back, a satisfied smile on his face. He leans in to kiss Saint softly, tasting the salt of their love on his lips. "I've got you, love" he murmurs.

Saint's eyes are wide with shock and pleasure, his cheeks flaming red. "I love you , Shin " he whispers back, his voice hoarse.

Shin chuckles and leans in for another kiss. "I love you, more" With that, he pulls away, leaving Saint sprawled on the bed, utterly spent and flustered but never leaving Shin's eyes.

Shin stands, leaving Saint lying there, boneless and utterly satisfied. "I'll be right back," he says, heading to the bathroom to clean up, leaving Saint to bask in the warmth of the moment. The door clicks shut, and Saint is alone with his racing thoughts and the sound of the shower in the distance.

Saint POV

Sunlight streamed through the window, filling the room with a soft golden glow, but all I could think about was Shin. Even after he left to freshen up, the warmth of his touch lingered, wrapping around me like a comforting blanket. I stayed curled up on the bed, pulling the actual blanket tighter around me, burying my face in its softness. It smelled like him—a mix of minty freshness and the faint, earthy scent .

I couldn't stop smiling like an idiot, replaying the morning in my head. His laugh, teasing, so soft and carefree. The way he looked at me, like I was the only person in the world. And his kisses… God, his kisses. My cheeks burned just thinking about it. My mind replayed every second of the morning. How bold he'd been—pressing that kiss to my lips like it was the most natural thing in the world.

I could still feel the ghost of his fingers trailing through my hair, body and his weight on my lap, the teasing lilt in his voice as he leaned in closer than he ever had before. It was intoxicating, the way he broke down my defenses without even trying.

The sound of the bathroom door opening snapped me out of my thoughts. I peeked over the edge of the blanket to see Shin walking out, a towel slung around his neck and his damp hair sticking up in unruly tufts. He looked effortlessly handsome, his usual confidence wrapped around him like a second skin.

"You're just going to stay there like a burrito?" he teased, his lips quirking into that playful smirk I loved.

I wrinkled my nose at him but didn't move. "It's warm and cozy," I mumbled, pulling the blanket tighter around me as if to prove a point.

He chuckled, walking over to sit on the edge of the bed. "You're ridiculous, you know that?"

"Yeah, but you love me," I shot back, peeking out just enough to catch the flicker of affection in his eyes.

He reached out, gently tugging the blanket down to reveal my face. "Yeah, I do, Idiot" His voice was soft, almost too soft, and it made my heart skip a beat.

Before I could say anything, his phone buzzed in his pocket. He pulled it out, glancing at the screen, and his expression shifted slightly. "I've gotta head home," he said, slipping the phone back into his pocket. "Mom said She needs me for something."

I tried to keep the disappointment off my face, but I wasn't sure I succeeded. "Will you call me later?"

He smiled, leaning down so our faces were just inches apart. "Of course I will, Puppy."

And then, before I could say anything else, he kissed me—a quick, sweet peck on the lips that left me blinking up at him in surprise.

He stood up, ruffling my hair as he moved to the door. "Don't miss me too much, Saint." he called over his shoulder, his tone light and playful.

I stuck my tongue out at him as he disappeared through the doorway, but as soon as the door clicked shut, I found myself pulling the blanket up to my chin, my heart racing and my cheeks warm.

"Best way to start the day," I mumbled to myself, my voice barely audible over the rapid rhythm of my heartbeat.
