Chapter 13
“Who the fuck do you think you are? Bitch do you even know who I am?”
Karlis smirked at the little punk in front of them, acting as a shield for the two girls behind them.
“No I don’t know who you are, except for an entitled brat, and frankly I don’t care. You are a bully, abusing your position, power and wealth.”
“You’ll regret this!”
“Will I?” Karl hummed, rocking slightly with their hands behind their back.
“No, I don’t think I will. You don’t scare me, don’t even come close to anything scary. Compared to what I’ve seen, you’re nothing but a spot of dust in the grand scheme f the universe.”
“And who the hell are you to talk to me like that?” he sneered.
Karl smirked slightly
“Well I guess the closest thing I would be classed as would be a God I suppose.”
“You’re crazy!”
“Potentially, but listen to me as I say this,” They then kneeled down into his space, face inches away from his.
“I have seen the jaws of hell and walked through laughing. Don’t threaten me or those under my protection.”
After the guy ran off, the two girls were stunned speechless behind them. Then a voice came from the shadows.
“A God? Seriously?”
“Well, I mean, am I wrong though? We are vessels for the gods, are blessed by them, and have roles as guardian angels -er birds -things. You get what I mean. We don’t necessarily count as mortal, do we now?” Karlis raised an eyebrow pointedly at Raya.
