“Owee!”
“Alright. Let’s take a break!” Coach Yim shouts. “Get some water and a snack.”
Muay Thai is SO much fun!
Coach is nice.
Sua is here :)
And BecBec and Mae are watching too!
“I can’t WAIT for you to visit my house!”
Sua looks over at BecBec and Mae.
“Why…do you live with the boss?”
“BecBec?” Boss? Boss BecBec. Hehe~
“Hmm…” Why do we live with BecBec? “Because Mae said so.”
“Oh ok.” Sua nods like Mister Gun does. He acts like Mister Gun a lot.
“Where is your Mae?” Sua doesn’t talk about his Mae like he does his Phaw or Mister Gun..
“She…doesn’t live with us.”
Sua walks away, toward the mat.
“Sua? Wait for me!”
I chase after my friend.
He doesn’t stop but he slows down a little bit.
“Thanks Sua!” I have a big smile on my face.
“Look. The ice cold tiger has a puppy now.”
Hm?
“Hi, Sua and Sua’s pet.”
Who?
Sua stops and I run into his back.
“Ow.”
“See you on the mat.” He tells the others. Sua sounds funny.
“R-right.”
I wave bye to them but they move away too fast.
Oh well.
“C’mon Nat.”
“Ok!”
Sua is the coolest.

“Sua!”
“Mhm.”
“When your Phaw gets back, I’ll ask him if you can come over!”
“Mhm.”
“When is your Phaw coming?” I pull Sua’s arm. Mae and BecBec are holding yummy snacks. I want to share with Sua and our friends.
“I..Um…I’ll ask Ah Gun.”
“Ok! Are you going to Uncle Billy and Uncle Babe’s party?”
“Uh…no. I- We’re busy.”
“Oh..”
I’m sad that Sua won’t go to the party for Uncle Billy and Uncle Babe.
Maybe Mae and BecBec can get closer like Aunt Nam said they would.
“Your Mae and BecBec can probably get closer with special alone time.”
“Really!”
“Yep! At your Uncles’ wedding.”
