Yin and Jin sat in their room, their eyes half lidded as they both stare at places like the ceiling and the floor, both bored out of their misery.
"You both look dead with your positions, especially you, Yin." the Scorpion Queen stated; also bored as much as the other two
Yin, who was laying on his stomach with his head hanging off the edge, tilted it slightly to the left; giving him a good view of the Scorpion Demon's face and his brothers, who did in fact look dead.
"Oi Jin! Wake up!" Yin yelled with his Australian accent, sitting up as he takes the book that both of them already finished reading and bonked him on the head with it.
Jim yelped as he san up, before whining, rubbing his head as it hurt from the book's hard cover
"Yin-!!! Why would ya' do that!? You know that book's cover is as hard as a rock-!!" Yin had complained.
"Well this was the easiest way to wake ya up!!" Jin argued back.
"I would've woken up either way!!" the two brothers started quarreled with each other.
The Scorpion Queen sighed, transforming into her human like disguise, and putting on a leather jacket on; paying no mind to the other two demons loud arguing.
she walked across the room, and to the door of the abounded flat, she held the handle and twisted it, a click of a sound indicating it was unlocked
"Where are ya going Scorpi'?" Yin asked, making the Scorpion Queen halt, standing in front of an open door that held the view of an alley way
"I'm gonna go to my girlfriend's, you can come if you want — She has her own Spiderling's — maybe you can have fun with them for a while.”
Jin groaned, "Why do we wanna play with Spiderling's? We're not that young."
Yin elbowed his brother, his lips curved up into a smirk; "Think of the fun we can do pranking them." Yin whispered
Jin snickered before getting up from the couch, the Scorpion Queen watching as the two fumbled along the room, trying to find their Calabash thing.
I swear these boy's are like my own little brothers sometimes.. The Scorpion Queen thought to herself.
her eyes shifted as she thought to herself once more, or kids..? Her thoughts were filled with confusion as it slowly flowed down the gutter, leading her to slowly lose focus of reality.
"We're done!" two voices startled her, her eyes focused on two demons in front of her, wearing matching jackets and boots
"Oh, alright, come on." the Scorpion Queen stated as they all walked out the door
"Wait a minute, how are we gonna the to the lair? doesn't it take hours to get to the entrance?" Yin asked
"Ya, he's right, How are we gonna get there in less than 3 hours?" Jin added
"Don't worry boys, I just got the thing for us," the Scorpion Queen reassures the two as she pulled down a cloth that covered a vehicle.
The two demon brothers stared in awe, astonished by the vehicle in front of them.
"Woohoooo!!!" Jin screamed, sitting behind his brother Yin, who was desperately clinging onto the Scorpion Queen for support; fearing he might fall of the motorcycle.
"Come on Yin! Don't be scared, we won't fall!" Jin reassured his dear brother.
"And then you fall few minutes later," the Scorpion Queen joked around with the Calabash Demons.
"Of course not," he spoke, crossing his arms over his chest, acting all confident.
just then, they drove over a bump and Jin almost fell back, Yin grabbed him by his coat and pulled him back, as the two coward in fear.
hugging the ones in front of them as Xiē (Scorpion Queen) laughed at their reactions and regrets.
Xiē took a swift turn before finally making it to an abounded warehouse far away from Megapolis, the brothers got off the Motorcycle as the Scorpion Queen followed
the two brothers were not used to this place, so they let the Scorpion Queen go first, following slowly behind her
Xiē walked in front of the door before knocking, they waited for a while till the door opened to a small spider with green hair
"Yes-? Oh-" their expression changed once they looked away from their clipboard, "Hello Ma- i mean Scorpion Queen-" the spider's face flushed red from embarrassment
the Scorpion Queen chuckled at the hybrids mistake, "Good morning my little spideypoo~" she teased as she grabbed his cheek and pinched it
"You already know my name, and it's Syntax Ms. Xiē-" Syntax let out grunts as he tried to escape his mothers girlfriend's iron fist grasp
She soon let go, his hair a mess than before, and the two boys in the back couldn't help but try to hold in a chuckle
Syntax eyes them, sending a bladed glare into the chest as it did sorta scare them a bit, even if he was no much for the Monkey King's and the Monkie Kid's power combined
"I'm sorry for them spideypoo but they're my friends and since i can't leave them unattended at home without their 'Manager', i can't leave them two seconds alone without causing a mess, or even burning the house if they wanted to cook food-" she admitted.
"Uh.. huh — you sure the Manager can't be called to take care of their silly business right now?" the hybrid asked, raising a brow
"Unfortunately — no, she's out of town and is busy dealing with other stuff." The Scorpion Queen spoke as she rubbed the tip of her nail her index finger with her thumb
"Hey! We're not a burden to be taken care of!" both brothers spoke in unison, feeling offended and betrayed by their best friend and a hybrid who is the adopted son of their best friends spider girlfriend
The green haired male sighed before walking away from the entrance, "Follow me.." he spoke with a tired voice
the group proceeds with his words, tailing behind him like a flock of sheep, the place was dark and cold, only being lit by the techs that the hybrid had made through the years
It was filled with faded graffiti, and theres
many crates covered in dust and spiderwebs were in every corner
I'm guessing they like it like this since they are sorta spiders... Yin thought as they all walked through the place, the brothers being disgusted by the filth they saw while Syntax and the Scorpion Queen not being bothered
Supposably since they probably both got used to this place, meaning they've been through this for months and maybe even years
Syntax used his robotic spider like arms to move away cobwebs from his path, Xiē had an easy time going through the place without getting a single spect of dust or web on her.
Meanwhile; Jin and Yin kept getting webs in their face, they tried to pill it off but it kept cutting off and the other half of it was stuck to their hair or either face
Yin looked at Jin's face before screaming "Spider!!! It's on you face!!" he scram out like a girl before Jin panicked and ran off, flailing his hands all over his face and head as he kept his eyes closed
Once Jin was gone from sight, the three let out laughs like a bomb, Xiē's arms fell onto her knees as she tried to catch her breath
"Okay- okay – i think that was a bit to much for a prank.." she spoke as she wiped off the single tear that had formed in the side of her eye
"Hahahaha!!!! I can't wait to see the look on his face once he finds out the truth!" the hybrid laughed as his eyes were covered by his uncontrollable hands
Jin ran and ran as he tried to get off the whole disgusting home of webs on his face and hair, his eyes were closed shut as his legs brought him far
He soon bumped into someone, falling back onto the floor, his eyes crack open, filled with tears as his strands of his hair covered parts his face, he saw a tall figure accompanied by a smaller one beside it.
Their appearances were hidden by the darkness of the room, the smaller figure groaned as he smacked something in his hands.
A light soon went on, the flashlight lighting up the ceiling before it was pointed at the Gold Demon, he covered his eyes with his arm.
"The flashlights too bright Hunts', your hurting his eyes." A male voice, probably the taller figures voice, the other figure in the room grunted as he protested weakly
"It's just light, he's a weakling." He spoke, Jin finally took a small peak as the light was moved away from his eyes, he could see the taller figure grab the flashlight and shine it in the others eyes, giving him a glimpse of their appearance
They were a lavender-skinned Spider Demon with four lime green eyes, fangs above their mouth as well as smaller spikes along their face. They also had grey hair styled into an undercut and braid.
They wore a black jacket with dark grey fur trim and two green orbs at the collar, they had purple pants and a belt with a lime green buckle
they hissed as the light shined in their eyes, jumping back and using their arms to cover their sensitive eyes, "See how much it hurts," the other figure scolded, proving their point
The light soon faced the ground, showing the bottom half of the other, he didn't realize he had stayed perfectly still on on the ground the whole time before he was snapped out his trance and back to reality with a single snap from the mystery persons fingers.
"You okay?" They asked as they extended their hand, Jin sat in silence as his eyes looked at the offered help and back to the silhouette figure, he took the offer and was pulled back up to his feet
"Hey, he asked you if you were okay, are you deaf or is your head stuck in the clouds?" The smaller figure asked rudely, Jin fixed his hair as he watched the two tell each other their opinions on helping and meeting new people
The gold demon listened before his sight went black, a hard hit on the back of the head is all he could remember as his eyes closed shut and his body fell to the ground, he just hoped he didn't get eaten by spiders or anything.
Jin woke up in with a massive headache, his vision a blur as he blinked a few more times before it finally revealed a blank ceiling, he laid his head to the side, seeing two demons in the side of the room, discussing something that was sorta muffled for him
Just then, a face popped up in front of him, a muscular Spider demon with lavender like skin, green eyes and fangs above his mouth and spiky black hair, he could hear his voice echo in his ears
"Guys, he's waking up!" He yelled, looking over his shoulder as he called the other two demons in the room, "He's waking!? Already!? Thats fast-" a female voice commented.
Pushing himself up, he grabbed a fist full of his hair, groaning from the aching pain the back of his head, he watched as two other Spider demons came into view, one of them was the one who kept flashing the flashlight in his face
The other, was the source of the female voice, she had lavender skin and green eyes and spiky black hair, mostly like a copy and paste of the other two, she also wore a black and purple jumpsuit, with shoulder pads, a silver zipper and line green designs on the front, her hands were covered with purple gloves,and the Gold demon could see the lime green spider-shaped knee pads as well as purple boots from where she was standing.
"Umm... where are am I exactly?" Jin asked, cocking a brow, his eyes soon looked around as the female had disappeared from his sight
"We might ask you a similar question, why the hell are you trespassing in our territory?" The female spider demon spoke as she popped out from beside him, he shrieked as he fell off the bed, only to be caught by the taller spider demon
"You okay little bud?" He asked once again, carrying him in his arms and Jin could swear he was gonna die and get crushed by a bigger demon, but took enough courage to reply.
"Ya mate, i'm fine" he replied before his eyes were targeted back on the female spider, he could see her holding a pan in her right hand.
"Mate, where you the one who hit in the back of the head!?" the Gold demon yelled in anger, Spindrax answered back with a perspective of her anger
"Ya I was you Australian demon, and I'll do it again if my little brother over here didn't want to try and be nice after the events of scary trauma!!" She yelled back
"Listen mate, number one is Is I ain't Australian, i'm Chinese, i just traveled off to Australia with my brother when we were younger so we got used to the accent, number two, i traveled along side my brother and the Scorpion Queen because she said we can't be left unattended without causing a ruckus or burning the house down by accident-"
he spat out, the back of his hands pressed against his waist, showing more of a sassy and confident approach, for him anyway.
"Oh ho ho– so you're a reckless idiot then huh?" Both the male and the female spiders said in unison
"I bet you also can't be left unattended for a long period of time, and i bet you can't even cook, Santa Clause!" Jin argued back.
"He did get us there-" the male spoke as he leaned into the females ears, "You know what, i'm gonna go find you family to get your annoying little prick ass back!" she yelled
"Come on Huntsman!" She yelled, grabbing the other by the collar and dragging him away in a stomping rage, they soon both exited the room.
Footsteps were soon heard running back to the room, the female spider peeping into the room, letting out a threatening warning to the Gold Demon; "If you dare do anything to our little brother there, it will be the last time you see the light"
She spoke before leaving once more, Jin turned to the giant spider who was awfully more quiet than before, he looked back, curiosity glistening in his eyes
"Does this always happen with guest?" Jin asked, cocking a brow as his eyes moved around, nervous to be with the biggest spider he's ever seen.
"Not really, the Spider Queen used to say she was never like this, it was just the time that when she got revived with us all, she was a bit to overprotective and lost trust in newcomers," he spoke, putting Jin back down onto the bed
So this must be the Spiderling's Xiē was talking about, although.... They're not as small as I imagined.. the Gold Demon thought
"Umm.. may I ask? But what's your name?" Jin asked, trying to be polite as possible to the sweet spider in front of him.
"I never really was named, we used to call each other by our species and appearance, so i was both known as Strong Spider and Goliath, what about you?" Goliath responded
"Jin, brother of Yin, we were both known as the Gold and Silver Demons." Jim replied
"I've heard stories about you two, on how you trapped the Monkie Kid in this thing called a 'Calabash', i think thats it-?" Goliath spoke, his eyes narrowing to the side as he rubbed the back of his head
"Ya, we did trap him in there, it was a complicated story..." Jin's voice lowered as his mind went through flashbacks of how it went from them trapping him to getting their ass kicked and almost dying
"So, those were your siblings right? I'm guessing those two were Huntsman and Spindax?" Jin questioned with a bright smile on his face, his index finger pointed up as his hand was slightly tilted to the side
"Spindrax." Goliath corrected him as he sat down onto the floor, Jin was furiously sweating as he thought of words of kindness
Out of panic, he gave a few pats on the mattress he laid on, letting out a rushed out sentence with a forced smile; "Why no you sit here, don't want the family member of the house sitting on the cold floor-"
"I'm pretty used to sitting in cold places actually, we spent most of our lives looking for shelter, traveling in the cold of night, and thats when we found a perfect place to live, which is this cave below the warehouse,"
The spider pointed out, both were getting to know each other, sure it was out of sweet chaos, one panicking as he faced his biggest fear, rushing with words and swearing rapidly like rain pouring from the sky above
While the spider on the other hand, was sweet and gentle, reminding the Gold Demon of the Blue Giant who was on the Monkie Kid's team, the spider was also really calm and took his time with his words, even if information was rushed out for both of them.
"Soooo..." the Gold Demon spoke, clasping his hands together, with his index finger pointed out, letting it rest at the tip of his nose before letting it lay down with his gaze
"Since i might actually go soon once your siblings find my brother and best friend, why not we do something together?"
"What kind of something?" Goliath asked, Jin grabbed a strand of his hair and raise it up
"Do you still know how to braid?" Jin asked.
"How did you know I braided hair?" The spider demon asked as Jin got off the bed and sat down in front of him, with his back turned towards the other
"Jiéjiè Xiē told me lots of stories about you all, and how she met the Spider Queen, it was chaotic but interesting in a way," the Gold demon replied, trying to relax as he puts his trust into the other.
"So, I'll ask again.. do you still know how to braid?" Jin asked, looking over his shoulder, giving out a small smile
Goliath's face heated up for no reason he could think of, all he knew was that it was cause by the demon in front of him
"Okay, but I'm a little rusty" Goliath spoke as he took a thick strand of hair and started doing his best to make braid hair after a long time
Jin smiled at the gentle hands that he assumed were supposed to be rough and probably try to pull his hair off his scalp.
"Can i ask some questions if you don't mind?" Goliath ask as he continues with trying to braid the hair, finding it easy with his four hands
"Sure, knock yourself out, i don't mind sharing some info with you — as long as you don't share it to your sibling because they'll definitely try to find a way on how to use it against me-"
He admitted, making the Giant Spider laugh, the Gold Demon couldn't do anything to stop the tingling-shock slither up his spine as his chest felt warm
Oh god... it's the Spider, he's fucking doing something to me... Jin panicked in his head
"Is your hair really white?" the Spider demon asked, giving the other a time to recall on how he had gotten white hair
"No, my brother just wanted to prank Xiē, and try to dye the Scorpion Queen's hair white by replacing the shampoo with hair dye"
Jin started, smiling at memories, as Goliath listened carefully with full interest on the story
"I didn't know about it so i used to shampoo without any thought and when i came out of the bathroom, i had white hair like my brother, i never really had white hair, i had this more of like blondish color instead,"
Jin finished, fiddling with his hands as Goliath reached into the drawers and pulled out a hair tie from inside, he soon tied up the braid and looked gorgeous
He looked inside the drawer and saw something, a flower he had plucked out from his adventures outside the lair in order to try and make a flower crown for his family
I guess one doesn't mind.. Goliath thought as he took one and put it in the others hair, giving it a bit of a design
"That should do it!" Goliath spoke as he stood up, and Jin followed with his actions, seeing himself in a mirror that sat on the bedside table, he could see the wonderful braid at the back, and the lovely white gumamela flower that sticked to his hair.
"This looks lovely Plum!" the Gold demon unconsciously blurted out, turning over to see the surprised Spider demon
"Plum?" He asked, kneeling down and looking at him, looking for an answer.
"O-oh... I thought since you probably never been called anything else before, i'd call you Plum since sometimes Plum's are purple like your skin and because they're.... Also really sweet.." Jin clasped his hands together
Avoiding eyes contact at all cost due to being shy, he rubbed the back of his neck as his he tries to cover his flushed face with his arm
"I think the names lovely, why not i give you a nickname too so we're both even?" Goliath spoke as he sat on the bed.
"Great! Go ahead! I'd love to hear it," Jin exclaimed as he faced towards the Spider demon, sitting in a nearby chair, well, sorta- with his chest facing the backrest.
The Strong Spider nodded before starting on a nickname hunt inside his head
"What about Dian? I took it from the name Durian since they're tough on the outside and sweet on the inside, kinda like you through my perspective," Goliath admitted
Jin thought i was a funny way of how most demons he knows express their bonds of friendship or love from food or any other existing word
He had once heard Sun Wukong called the Six-Eared Macaque Mango and the other returned the favor by giving him the nickname Peaches.
He also heard that the Demon Bull Prince once called the Monkie Kid Apple and the Dragon girl Olive due to the Monkie Kid being all red next to him, and the Dragon girl having her green signature color.
They had returned the favor by calling him Cherry or Flame as a little callback to his powers and because they had gotten inspired by the name Cherry bomb.
Jin smiled at the nickname, and soon, the two started blabbering about stuff, their conversation filling the room with the tone of joy in their voice.
The Gold demon thought it was gonna be the worst day of his life when he first met the family, but all he knew now, was that it was the best day of his life, or night? He didn't really know by now.
All he was glad for, is having a new friend.
The Spider siblings and Yin all watched from the door, peaking their heads through and trying not to get noticed as they watched
"That's certainly new and very weird..." Yin commented, never ever seeing his brother smile like that or have the exact excitement to learn more about the youngest Spider demon
He only remembers the last time that Gold demon smiled was when they were both with their mother, all happy before the Monkey King had to end her due to their idiotic actions.
"The Gold demons blushing..." Spindrax spoke before covering her ears and quickly dragging everyone back into the dark.
"WHAT!?!?!?"
