Â
Toodles kicked a stone through the hallway. She wanted to play dress up with Glisten, but Rodger said he 'had a long day' and 'needed rest'. But Glisten was always so full of energy! How could he be tired after only a run he had?
Â
So unfair!
Â
The 8-ball turned to Glisten's room. Maybe she'll go visit him? She knocked on the door.
Â
No answer.
Â
Toodles knocked again, this time with more force, but nobody opened the door. Unless she would count the door creaking open after her banging her fists on it as opening it.Â
Â
She went inside.Â
Â
Glisten was sitting on the chair, his head buried in his arms. He was probably sleeping, this getting certified by the silent snores.Â
Â
Toodles walked up to him and poked his shoulder. *Oh wow, Daddy was right. He did have a long day!" She giggled. Maybe there would be a way to play dress up with him.Â
Â
....
Â
The 8-ball tied the last knot around his arms. This will do!Â
Â
She grabbed some makeup from Glisten's vanity. He always had such wonderful shades!Â
Â
Toodles climbed up the chair and stood on Glisten's thighs to reach up to his face. Her face turned thoughtful when she looked at it. His makeup was looking like he was crying before she came in.Â
Â
"Yeah, you totally need new makeup, Glisten. Luckily, I'm here to help!"Â
Â
She wiped off the smeared makeup and applied new one.Â
Â
*Blue fits him very well, but I barely see him with it! Maybe I should use that color!*
Â

Â
The feeling of a brush tickling him startled Glisten. He immediately recognised the young Toon that was staring at him.Â
Â
"Hi, Glisten! I'm doing your makeup!" Said Toodles happily.Â
Â
The mirror signed, a hint of exasperation in his voice. "Toodles, sweetheart, I'm not in the mood for such things right now." He tried to grab Toodles and put her onto the ground, but he only tugged at something.Â
Â
"...Did you just tie me up?" Glisten frowned. "Get me out of this, Toodles."Â
Â
The 8-ball shook her head in response. "No way! I have to finish your makeup first! But don't worry, I'm almost done!"Â
Â
He gave her a death stare, but then signed and closed his eyes again. "Okay... But, I swear, if you weren't so cute I'd turn you into mashed potatoes as soon as I'd get untied again."
Â
The mirror felt the brush tickling him again as Toodles worked on his makeup. She giggled from time to time, which made Glisten wonder what she did to him.
Â
...
Â
"Okay, I'm done!"
Â
*Finally. That felt like ages.*
Â
"...Can you untie me now?"Â
Â
Toodles jumped onto the floor, waddled behind the chair and slowly untied him.Â
Â
"Here you go, Glisten," she said cheerfully.Â
Â
The mirror didn't say anything back, just checked if his gloves are still covering...
Â
*...*
Â
*I should stop doing that every time someone touches my arms.*
Â
"Look in the mirror!" She pointed at the mirror. Glisten looked at his reflection and his eyes widened slightly.Â
Â
"Woah, you got pretty good at makeup, Toods," and he meant every single word. This was the first time she was so clean with makeup, Glisten was proud.Â
Â
"You know, next time maybe don't barge into my room, tie me up and force makeup experiments on me," he gave her a slight smile, she gave an even wider one back.Â
Â
"No promises!"Â
Â
And with that, she hopped out of the room.Â
