I told him I would never leave, I promised him but that was before I knew.
(1997 September first)
I slid into my compartment and closed the door behind me. 6th year and still a couple of friends yet lots of enemies.
Pansy always said I was gonna “steal Draco from her”. like I would want him anyway. Plus they weren't even dating. The Golden trio as everyone calls them. After they found out I was friends with Draco they left. Then we have Mattheo Riddle, the vain of my existence. Since we were kids, of course, my family was close to his family. He always tried to talk, then comment after I answered.
I heard footsteps. There he was Mattheo.
“What do you want?” I said as he slid open the compartment door.
“Geez Morcot I just wanted to sit here, but not if your gonna be a bitch” He snapped. I lifted my legs into the seat.
“Sorry there's no room” I shot back.
“Not surprising with your size. Maybe skip the sweets today” he laughed and walked away.
He's right, I thought. I am fat. I'm fat and disgusting. I needed to lose weight and how would I do that well? I just wouldn't eat. No sugar, no fats, no carbs, no food because if i didn't eat then i couldn't gain weight. That's how it worked.
The truth was I wasn't even that fat. I wore a size medium and fit into a size 7 pants (with some extra room).
I heard a knock on the compartment door.
“Go away” I yelled.
“Geez, someone in a bad mood” I heard Draco's voice say.
“Oh it's you,” I said.
“Who else would I be, and why would you be that mad to see them?” he questioned.
I looked up at him with sad eyes. He knew.
“That filthy little riddle boy What did he say to you this time?” He asked out of anger.
“It's nothing, I'm fine,” I said quietly
“No your not he’s fucking horrible and you dont do anything about it” draco slammed back.
“I said it's fine,” I yelled.
“No i'm gonna go find him” he said but before he could leave i grabbed his wrist.
“Draco can you just stay with me please, i'm tired and just want to be with someone” I said with puppy eyes.
“Ugh, fine, ok come here,” he said. He sat by me and I laid my head on his shoulder. I inhaled the scent of Dior Sauvage cologne and peppermint. He was the best friend anyone could ever ask for even though he can be possessive and mad at points. I started to fall asleep. My eyelids got heavier and heavier than they shut.
(a few hours later)
I felt something shaking me or should I say someone.
“Wake up, Ella, we're here” Draco shouted while shaking me.
“Mmmm” I said in a groggy voice while rubbing my eyes.
“Get up” he said again pushing me upright.
I started walking to get my bags. I grabbed my bags and headed to the carriages to get to hogwarts. Ever since I was in first year I could see the thestral. Ever since the accident.
(flashback to when ella was 5)
“Don't hurt them please mommy tell them to stop” I cried out.
My mom had told me to wait with the other little kids. Draco, Astrio, Sky, Emily, Olivia, Daphne And of course Mattheo. Mattheo was being a Arsehole. I went into the room I saw my mom go in. As I walked in I saw something I could never unseen. Someone lay suspended in the air and a green light shot out of a monster wand. At Least he looked like a monster. The room went silent. I ran to my mom.
“Hunny, go back to the room,” My mom said.
“Mommy they they” I started.
“Yes hunny i know but you need to go back to the room before you get in more trouble” my mom whispered.
“But mommy-” I was trying to say.
“No i said go Now” She yelled across the room.
I ran out to the Lavatory and Draco ran in after me. He stayed with me. That was the first time we became friends.
