Dancing In The Store

“James, I'm going to the store, need anything?” Sirius asked in a low voice. James, looking up from where he was reading a sportsbook, shook his head no. Knowing what his best friend said even though his voice was so quiet “Ok then, I'll be back later” and with that last note, Sirius grabbed his keys and leather jacket as he walked out of their apartment. Getting on his motorcycle he was thinking through the plan in his head. (yes, he has a plan. Who do you think he is?) After 15 minutes of blaring loud music and many red lights. (How does he always end up catching all of them?) He arrived at the store. I'm sure you are dying to hear his plan but people say show not tell. He set his phone up on a shelf to play music and record him then started dancing to the song and smiling brightly.

As the chorus started up a guy joined Sirius in his dancing. Sirius just smiled brighter, Happy that someone started dancing with him. They danced for a minute before a woman shopping walked in front of the camera and looked at them funny. They locked eyes and it was then that Sirius saw just how beautiful this man was. He had honey-colored hair and beautiful amber eyes. The most prominent feature on his face, this was a scar that started at his jaw and snaked its way over his nose to the other side of his face. All Sirius could do was stare. The guy looked at him funny, with a quirked eyebrow and an inquisitive smirk. Ah shit. He'd been caught staring. Sirius looked away quickly feeling his cheeks burn in the familiar sensation of a blush. He saw the guy get even more confused but he was amused all the less.
Sirius ran to go get his phone real quick. When he came back the guy was gone. Disappointed, Sirius went back to his shopping, but when he looked down at his cart right over his eyeliner there was a note. It was folded up into a little square. The dark-haired boy picked it up and unfolded it. In a messy scrawl it read: call me my number is (enter random number) hope you’re gay cause I would really enjoy taking you on a date. ;) Lucky for the guy yes he is gay, and yes he'd love to go on a date sometime. Putting his earbuds to finish shopping he let the rest of the song play out.
