You have to hear me out
It's a calm evening in early September, the students aren't even back from their summer break yet. Albus is listening to his girlfriend, Minerva.
Minerva ranted, "You can't let him come back again after last year, Al. The boy nearly died after the Quirrel/Voldemort fiasco."
Albus waved his hand and calmly said, "Minnie, the boy is used to bad things happening to him. No need to worry about him."
Minerva fumed. "He may be the Boy who Lived, but he's only 11 for Merlin's sake!"
Albus corrected her, "12 now, his birthday was on the 31st of July."
Minerva sighed. "You have to hear me out, Al."
Albus insisted, "Sit down please, Minnie."
Minerva reluctantly sat down across from him and frowned. "He's only a boy."
Albus stated, "I am aware of that fact, but one day he will have to face Voldemort again one day. We must train him up so that he is ready for that day."
Minerva muttered, "I suppose you're right. To think that one day he'll be even more famous than he is now for defeating Voldemort himself."
Albus smiled. "I am glad that you have started calling him by his name, Minnie."
Minerva smirked. "Fear of a name is fear of the person himself, you told me that."
Albus replied, "Thank you for always being here for me, Minnie."
Minerva responded, "You're most welcome, Al. You're here for me more than I'm here for you though."
Albus chuckled. "As modest as always, my dear Minnie."
