Meltdowns and facetime calls

The alarm went off, Sirius really hoped it wouldn’t have. He groaned and waited for Remus to do something about the annoying voice. It was his alarm after all so he could also handle it. He felt the bed moving and then the alarm quieted down. Remus sighed and then Sirius felt how his arm wrapped around his waist.

Remus kissed his neck, “Morning,” his voice was still raspy and tired from sleep. Sirius smiled to himself and turned around to face Remus. He was already looking at Sirius with a tired smile on his face that was mixed with sadness.

“Morning,” Sirius whispered and then leaned closer to press a lingering kiss on Remus’ lips. Remus hummed on the kiss and rolled on his back, taking Sirius with him, who settled on top of him. The blanket dropped lower and exposed Sirius’ bare back to the cool air. Goosebumps ran over his skin as Remus' warm hands settled on his hips. Sirius pressed his hands on Remus’ chest and was just about to lean down when a scream stopped him.

“Dada!”

Sirius groaned and dropped his head on Remus’ chest. Sirius felt how Remus let out a laugh, it vibrating through his body.

“Dada!”

“Your son is calling for you,” Sirius murmured and fell to the side to settle on the still warm sheets. Remus rubbed his eyes and sat up, stretching his arms up over his head.

“Oh so he’s only mine now?” he yawned and pushed the sheets away. Sirius looked at his bare back and how the muscles moved under his skin as Remus stretched his arms out again.

“He’ll be mine the next five days, so yes,” Sirius mumbled and turned away from Remus. He tried not to be bitter, because it wasn’t Remus' fault. It wasn’t Remus' fault that his boss wanted him to be a part of this work trip even though it wasn’t really part of his job description. It was fine and Sirius tried to act that way too.

“Darling,” Remus sighed, but Teddy’s scream interrupted him. “Okay, I’ll go and get him, but then I’ll continue”

Sirius laughed under his breath and turned again to face their bedroom’s door, because one of his favourite views in the world was one he was about to see. Sirius heard Remus talking to Teddy at the other side of the wall and a couple of minutes later he walked back to the room with Teddy in his arms.

“Good morning, baby!” Sirius said in a high pitched voice as he sat up and stretched his hands out for Teddy who was smiling widely, kicking his legs as Remus handed him to Sirius.

“Papa!” Teddy squealed and reached his hands towards Sirius’ face.

“Did we sleep well?” Sirius asked as he hoisted Teddy up in the air before bringing him closer and smothering his cheeks with kisses.

”Yes!” Teddy answered between laughs. Sirius moved to rest his back to the headboard as Remus settled himself back to the bed too. Teddy burrowed his face to his chest as Sirius ran his fingers through Teddy’s hair that was still messy from sleeping.

“So the earlier,” Remus said and smiled at Teddy who peaked at him, but then giggled and burrowed his head back to Sirius’ chest. “You two will be fine, you’re amazing with Teddy as we know and James and Lily will be here if you need them. And it’s only five days, I’ll be back before you even realise it”

“I know,” Sirius murmured and dropped a kiss to the top of Teddy’s head. “I’m just worried, because it’s the first time neither of us will be away for more than a day”

“He’ll be fine, I promise,” Remus reassured and then poked at Teddy’s belly. The little boy let out a happy scream and squirmed. “You’ll be fine, right Tedster?”

Remus blew a strawberry to the boy’s belly and grinned, “And you’ll be on your best behaviour with Papa”

Sirius really did hope it was true.

-

”Teddy please,” Sirius pleaded, which felt like the hundred time since they got into the shop.

Remus leaving hadn’t been as easy as the two of them had hoped. The day had been full of crying and screaming. It hadn’t gotten much easier since yesterday when Remus left. Teddy still asked for his dad whenever he could and it didn’t help that neither of them had slept well last night. Teddy had screamed for so long that eventually he had tired himself with all the crying and screaming and fell asleep. And Sirius felt like the worst parent in the world. He also secretly cursed Remus for leaving, even though it wasn’t his fault. Remus got a new job almost a month ago and while it wouldn’t be normal for him to be away from home in the future, this work trip was important.

And Sirius knows that.

Teddy was fuzzy, first he threw his beanie to the floor whining “Off!”, kicking his legs to the shopping cart where he was sitting. But that wasn’t enough so he tried to take off his shoes and because Sirius told him no he had a meltdown.

So that's what was going on at the moment. Teddy wasn’t really screaming, just whining. Sirius thanked whatever higher power had blessed him that moment, but Teddy was still very restless. Squirming in his seat at the shopping card, desperately trying to get his little shoes off, big tears falling down his face.

“Papa off,” he said and kicked his legs again. Sirius sighed quietly and put the can of milk to the card.

Now Sirius has had enough experience with meltdowns and tantrums the past three years with Teddy and with Harry. He knows that he has two options here, either he will try to get Teddy to calm down or let the kid calm himself down. There was nothing really wrong at the moment, but not well rested night and missing your other parent were things that could lead to what was happening at the moment.

And because he didn’t want older ladies to give him any more bad looks that he was already receiving he chose the first option. So he pushed the card to the calmer place he could find and lifted Teddy up from his armpits. He didn’t have a place where he could sit him down so he squatted down and put Teddy down, so they could be on the same eye level.

“Hey, no need to cry little man,” he reassured him, not that it helped. Standing gave Teddy an opportunity to collapse to the ground and try to, once again, take his shoes off. “What’s wrong? You don’t like your shoes?”

Teddy shook his head. The tears had stopped now, leaving his eyes and cheeks all puffy and wet. It still didn’t really mean he was any calmer. “Papa off, off!”

“Okay, okay,” Sirius said calmly and opened the sneakers so he could take them off. He got up and put the shoes to the card, mentally reminding himself to take Teddy’s socks and put them to wash once they get home. “Are we better now?” he asked and looked at his son who was sitting on the floor of a supermarket playing with his own socket feet. Clearly the shoes weren’t enough, because next came the jacket. Teddy tried to open the buttons, but his fingers were too small. And before Sirius could do anything, big brown eyes were looking at him, filling up with tears again.

“Oh baby don’t cry,” he said and lifted Teddy up to his arms. The little boy still tried to open the buttons and got even more furious every time he failed to do so. He let out a cry and tried to push Sirius away with his hands. Sirius ran his hand through Teddy’s wild hair, the curls were all over the place from the beanie. “Teddy we can’t take our jacket off,” he tried to explain, knowing if he let Teddy take off his jacket he would just keep going on. Teddy just shook his head letting out a frustrated whine.

“Look papa is wearing his jacket too,” he showed Teddy the material off his leather jacket and tried to come up with a solution. Teddy was squirming in his arms

“Okay what if we open the jacket a little?” Teddy came into a halt and stared at Sirius’. Then he nodded his head so Sirius opened the buttons and zipped the jacket halfway down. That clearly helped and Teddy started to calm down. Sirius felt like high fiving himself, but instead just wiped the tears away from Teddy’s cheeks.

“Better?”

Teddy nodded his head, while rubbing his eyes. “Thak yu”

Sirius smiled and pressed a kiss to the boy's hair, “Your welcome baby”. He imaginary patted himself to the back as he put Teddy back to the cart. He was so ready to be over this shopping trip, go home and stay there for the rest of the week. But just as he thought everything was good Teddy turned to him again.

“Dada?”

Sirius wants to cry. He is a grown 24 years old man who wants to cry in the middle of the grocery shop. But he doesn’t, because his two years old son wouldn’t understand why his papa would start crying and would just get stressed and cry too.

And Sirius can only handle the other one of them crying.

“Dada is not here,” and just as those words left his mouth he saw how Teddy’s lower lip started trembling. “No, no, no we don’t do that, right Teddy?” he asks but it makes no difference. Teddy let out a whimper, trying to squirm from his seat in the cart. And Sirius wanted to curse the whole world. He’s going to find Remus bosses phone number and send him death threats, because he is still a 24 years old and it’s acceptable to do so.

Teddy sniffled as tears pool in his eyes and Sirius tried to get closer to him to take him to his arms, but Teddy let out the most soul scratching scream.

“No, no! No Papa! Dada!” he cried and wiggled in his seat even more that Sirius was scared he would somehow fall off. And there they were a toddler and a man standing in the middle of an aisle. Sirius felt like he had just failed as a parent as he watched his son scream and cry as loudly as his lungs let him. Besides Teddy’s refusal Sirius took him to his arms and held him. He gently rocked from side to side and stroked the back of Teddy’s head with his other hand, fingers combing through his hair.

“Shh you’re alright, it’s okay, you’re okay”, he said to Teddy’s ear where his little head was burrowed to Sirius’ shoulder. He finally gave up with the wiggling and was fully pressed to Sirius who’s heart was breaking for his son.

After a while of Sirius trying to calm him down Teddy gave up with the screaming, but tears were still falling down his face. Assuming by the way Sirius’ shoulder was wet. Then he got an idea, he glanced at his wrist where his clock is and saw that it was already past three in the afternoon. Sirius knows that he probably shouldn’t call Remus, knowing he could be in the middle of something. But he also knows that he is a desperate man who’s willing to do anything and everything for his son.

“Hey Teddy,” he said and tried to get Teddy to let go of him from where he was latched to Sirius's shirt. The little boy raised his head from his neck to look at him with his red and puffy eyes. Sirius gently wiped his wet cheeks and runny nose with the back of his hand.

If someone had told him four years ago he would willingly wipe someone else's snot to his hand he would have called them insane.

“Hey baby,” he said again in a high pitched voice and smiled at Teddy. “What if we called Dada? Would you like that?”

Teddy sniffled and took a strand of Sirius' hair to his hand and pulled a little too harshly. Sirius didn’t even flinch anymore, just let his son play with his hair.

“Dada?” he asked and Sirius nodded his head

“That’s right, Dada,” he confirmed. Teddy’s crying had started to slow down. “Can I put you down?” Teddy shook his head no, so Sirius didn”t. He took his phone from his pocket and called Remus on facetime. He doesn’t know if Remus will pick up, but he really hopes he will. All he knows is that Germany is one hour ahead of them in time, so it’s already four in there. He hopes they have already finished working for the day.

Remus took some time to pick up, Teddy grew inpatient and took a hold of the phone. Sirius let him take it to his hands.

“You can hold it, but be careful,” he said knowing Teddy isn’t listening and also knowing that his phone has been dropped more times than he can remember. Overall it’s a miracle it’s even working anymore. Just as he's sure Remus isn’t going to pick up his face appears on the screen.

“Hey, I’m-”

“Dada!”

Teddy and Remus said at the same time. Teddy brings the phone closer to his face.

“Hi sweetheart”, Remus said and got up from wherever he had been sitting. He said something to the people who were with him and then smiled at the screen.

“Hey,” Sirius said and turned the phone to himself, Teddy let out a whine. “Sorry I just called, but we just had a total breakdown for at least ten minutes. As you can probably see,” he said and gestured to Teddy’s face that was still wet from all the crying. Sirius wiped his cheeks again with the sleeve of his shirt.

“No it’s okay I’m having dinner with the colleagues, ”Sirius had seen how Remus had walked somewhere quieter.

“Oh sorry, I can call later”

“No, no it’s okay. It’s nothing professional, there’s just the five of us,” Remus reassured. “So what was the tantrum for? Why are we sulking sweetheart?" The second question was meant to Teddy who had started to whine from the lack of attention.

“Dada here,” Teddy said and pressed a sloppy kiss to the phone screen. It’s something he had recently started doing. It was cute, but Sirius also cringed a little when he thought about all the germs on his phone.

“Oh Teddy, Dada is working. Remember?”

“NO,” Sirius shushed him down, which Teddy didn’t like. He tried to turn around in Sirius’ arms, which logically didn’t work so all that happened was that the phone fell to the floor.

“Sirius?” Remus asked from the other side of the call as the screen went black. Sirius sighed and furrowed down to pick up his phone. Teddy tried to crap it again, but he moved it away from his reach.

“No, Teddy. Papa will have to hold it if you drop it,” he said but brought it closer to Teddy just for him to try to crap it again. He started whining.

“Did he sleep well last night? Had any naps today?” Remus asked as he saw Teddy’s unpleasant face. Sirius sighed again.

“Barely, he screamed and cried until he fell asleep from being so exhausted. He slept before we left for like fifteen minutes before he woke up crying and asking for you”

“Oh I’m sorry, love”

“It’s not your fault,” Sirius said and shook his head. “I just feel like a crap, like am I a bad parent, Remus-”

“No, stop that. He’s just not used to being separated from us, that’s all. He would behave like that if you went away for longer time too”

“We should work on that”

“Yeah I know,” Remus sighed and glanced behind him before turning back. “Okay my food came I have to go back”

“Say bye to Dada,” Sirius said to Teddy and bounced him up on his hip.

“NO!” Teddy screamed and started fussing again. Sirius glanced to the side as he saw an older lady walking past them. He could see her judging him, but he tried to brush it off.

“Shh Teddy, we don’t yell right?” Sirius said and glanced at Remus on the other side of the phone. He could see the guilt in his face and felt bad. That wasn’t why he had called at all, to make Remus feel bad. All he tried was to make their son feel better, that’s what he always did.

“You know what, I think I can take you two back to the table with me”, Remus thought aloud as he made his way back.

“You sure?” Sirius asked. It would make the shopping trip so much easier, but Sirius doesn’t expect Remus to do that. He’s away, working, Sirius doesn’t expect him to still watch over Teddy. “I mean you’re working I can deal with Teddy”

Teddy made a fuzzy noise as Sirius mentioned his name and looked at the screen with his mouth hanging open. He was starting to calm down, which was good.

Remus stopped walking, “Darling I don’t care where I am if you or Teddy need me, nothing else matters at that moment. Besides almost all of my colleagues have children, they’ll get it”

“Are you sure, because I mean they probably are not- I mean we’re-”

“Sirius,” Remus said firmly and gave him a pointed look. “I came out of the closet almost ten years ago. I’m not going to start hiding my fiancé or my son any time soon”

Sirius was trying not to smile as Remus called him his fiancé. It’s been four months since Remus proposed to him, but it still felt like yesterday. Sirius ran his finger over his ring finger to feel the band and nodded his head.

“Okay, if you’re sure”

“Always,” Remus promised.

“Dada, Dada,” Teddy chanted and bounced in Sirius' arms who decided to sit him back on the seat so he could get over with the shopping trip. He handed the phone back to him.

“What, pup? Are we not paying enough attention to you?” Remus asked, smiling. Then he lowered the phone down.

“Sorry for leaving,” he said to the people he was at the restaurant with. “Would it bother any of you if I have my son over the phone? He’s a bit fussy. He’s not used to me being away, so it’s a bit hard for him”

Sirius couldn’t see who was talking, but he could hear Remus' colleagues saying it was fine so Remus sat down and rested his phone on something that was on the table, so Teddy could see his face.

“Oh I remember back when my children were young how hard it was at first when I was away,” someone at the table said. Sirius would guess she was older than him, maybe like fourty.

“Our daughter took it surprisingly well,” someone else said, this time a man. “I didn’t know if I should’ve been hurt when she took it better than we expected”

The whole table started laughing. Teddy looked up to Sirius with his eyes wide, but then suddenly started giggling himself too. Sirius' face broke into a grin as he watched his son laugh and ran a hand through Teddy’s hair.

But then he heard a gasp on the other side of the phone and glanced to see the phone screen better.

“Oh my goddess, that laugh,” someone cooed. “Please you need to show him”

Remus cheeks got redder as he glanced at the phone screen where Teddy was still smiling at him, his little baby teeth showing. Then he took the phone off the table and turned it around for his colleagues to see. Now Sirius was nosy so he stopped the cart to glance at the screen where he could see their faces. Most of them were definitely older than Remus, some maybe ten years, some less. But all of their faces were in awe as they looked at Teddy, whose smile started to slip away as he looked at all the unfamiliar faces.

“Oh he’s adorable,” one of the women said and waved at Teddy who just turned his face away from the screen.

“Wow you got such strong genes. He’s literally your twin, Remus,” another commented to Remus who Sirius could hear let out a huff of a laugh. And it was true. Teddy was a perfect copy of Remus with the chocolate coloured curls and light brown eyes. Even the way he smiled was all Remus, no mistakes could be made. And Sirius loves it, has loved it ever since the day Teddy had been born.

“Yeah, your wife must be jealous he took after you," one of the men laughed. “Mine was so disappointed when our oldest looked more me than her”

Sirius didn’t realise he let out a laugh before the people on the other side of the screen were staring at the phone. Yeah Teddy for sure didn’t let out that noise.

“Papa,” Teddy said quietly, probably uncomfortable with all the people staring at him and tried to hand the phone to him.

And then it fell to the floor again.

Sirius cursed under his breath when he picked it up again. “Oh Teddy you’re going to break Papa’s phone soon,” he still smiled at Teddy and pressed a quick kiss to his head. Remus, who had turned the phone back to himself, was watching them.

“Sirius? Everything okay?” he asked and glanced at his colleagues. Sirius didn’t have to even see their faces to know they were wondering what was going on. Hell, one of them thought Remus had a wife and now there’s some bloke with a weird name on the phone.

Remus has always been a very private person. He didn’t tell much if he didn’t have to. He always used to say that he had no desire to talk about his personal life with the people he worked with just for fun. Yeah he had mentioned he has a child and a partner, it wasn’t his fault everyone automatically thought he was straight.

Sirius on the other hand was the one to tell his life story, the good parts, to anyone. You wanna see pictures of my son? Sure, let me get my phone. You wanna know how me and my fiancé met. Funny you ask, let me tell you.

Remus always joked that Sirius was the open book out of the two of them, so he didn’t have to be.

“Yeah, Teddy just dropped the phone. Again,” Sirius chuckled. Remus smiled at him and then looked at his colleagues. “This is my fiancé, Sirius,” he turned the phone around and Sirius tried to give his best ‘this isn’t awkward at all’ smile. It probably worked, because Sirius saw how one of the women’s eyes widened and how she not so subtly tried to glance at the other women sitting next to her.

“Hey, nice to, well kinda, meet you guys,” Sirius smiled and ran a hand up and down Teddy’s back. He was starting to get sleepy, Sirius could tell. It wouldn’t be too long until Teddy would start to get fuzzy. And Sirius would very much prefer getting out of the shop before that.

“Oh I’m sorry,” one of the men burst out. “I was talking about your wife and all, shouldn’t have assumed”

Remus turned the phone back to him and Sirius finally let out a breath. Looking at the two women blush and whisper something to each other was starting to get uncomfortable.

Because well, not to sound like an ass, but he does know he is a good looking bloke. He won’t deny it, but won’t rub it on other people's faces either. Is it awkward to see women and men get all mushy in front of him? Yes definitely. Is it even more awkward when your partner and your son are also in the situation? Yeah even more. But what makes it better was the fact that he knows Remus finds it funny. Besides he’s seen people react the same way about Remus, who is the sexiest motherfucker on the earth and Sirius will fight about it, so they usually just laugh it off.

“Yeah well you’re not the first one,” Remus shrugged.

“Papa,” Teddy whined on his seat and took a hold of Sirius' sleeve. Sirius smiled again as he watched Teddy’s eyes grow more and more heavy.

“Are you getting sleepy?” Sirius asked as Teddy made crappy hands towards him. He glanced at the cart. He would only need to crap a couple more things and then they could leave.

“Someone’s getting tired,” Sirius said to Remus who raised his eyebrows as he and the other people on the table had started to eat. “I think we will manage rest of the day”

“Are you sure?”

“Yeah we’re good, right baby?” Sirius was waiting till they ended the call to lift Teddy to his arms.

“Up,” Teddy pouted.

“Say bye to Dada first,” Sirius said and waved his hand to Remus for Teddy to join him.

“Bye Dada,” he said. It surprised Sirius to see Teddy didn’t start fussing. Guess he was too tired to put on a fight.

“Bye sweetheart, I love you,” Remus said and waved back to the screen. Teddy kept waving his hand as Sirius turned the phone to him.

“Thank you, Remus,” he said, still very much aware of the other people on the other side of the call.

“Of course”, Remus said, just waving it off as usual. Sirius didn’t even know how he had gotten so lucky with Remus who was so patient and sweet.

“Call me if anything comes up, alright?” Remus said strictly. It left no room for objections so Sirius just nodded his head. He glanced at Teddy who was fighting the sleep, his eyes dropping shut again and again.

“I love you,” Sirius said and smiled.

“I love you and I’ll see you soon,” Remus promised before they ended the call. Sirius sighed and put his phone back to his pocket. He carefully lifted Teddy to his arms, who’s head automatically dropped on Sirius’ shoulder.

-

”Dada, Dada,” Teddy chanted and tried to jump up and down in Sirius' arms who was just trying to make his way to the right doors. It may have been a mistake to tell Teddy they were on their way to get Remus from the airport. It may have also been a mistake to not take the stroller with them. Sirius was used to carrying Teddy around, but it was harder to carry around an overexcited toddler who didn’t want to hold still.

At first Sirius had let Teddy walk on his own. But after Teddy had suddenly tripped and then refused to take his hand, Sirius thought carrying the boy was the smartest decision. Teddy hadn’t liked it, but he didn’t have many other options.

“Yeah, we will see Dada soon,” Sirius said breathlessly checking to make sure the sign on the wall said ‘Arriving flights’, which it sure did.

“NOW!”

Sirius shushed Teddy quickly and walked next to the wall where he put him down and crouched down himself. Teddy immediately tried to run away, but Sirius quickly snatched the boy back and wrapped his arms around him. That way Teddy was trapped between Sirius’ legs and arms. He pulled his watch from under his sleeve and brought it in front of Teddy.

”See that pointer?” Sirius asked as he pointed at the clock. It was a couple of minutes past two in the afternoon. Teddy nodded his head.

“Dada’s flight arrived when that pointer was up there,” he pointed to the number twelve with his finger. “So soon he will walk through those doors”, now he pointed to the doors in front of them that were already open, waiting for the passengers to walk through.

“Now?” Teddy asked, turning his head to the side, his small nose pressing to Sirius’ cheek. Sirius chuckled, but shook his head.

“Soon, baby”

Teddy pouted, his lower lip sticking out. The gesture looked so much like Remus that Sirius had to turn his head away for a second. It was almost ridiculous how much he already missed the other man. They’ve been away from each other longer times before, but it’s been a while since that. And Sirius also thought Teddy missing Remus so badly also reflected to him in a way.

The first passengers walked through the doors. Teddy perked up and tried to push away from Sirius, but he kept his grip tight. Teddy let out a whine stomping his leg.

“Papa!” he cried out and started wiggling. Sirius tried to keep his grip on the boy which turned out to be a lot harder than he had thought.

“Teddy we have to wait,” Sirius sighed and tried to get a better hold of him. And at the same time Remus walked through the doors, pulling a suitcase after him. After Remus came at least two of the people Sirius recognized from their call the other day. Teddy gasped and let out a squeal as he broke free from Sirius’ arms.

“DADA!”

“Edward, don’t run!”

Sirius and Teddy yelled at the same time. Remus spotted them right away and abandoned his luggage as he crouched down and opened his arms for Teddy who was running towards him as quickly as his legs let him. Sirius was praying for Teddy not to fall face first to the floor and let out a breath as Teddy crashed into Remus' waiting arms.

Remus gathered Teddy to his arms and stood up. He hugged Teddy to his chest and rested his cheek on top of the small boy’s head. He quickly walked up to Sirius and let go of Teddy with his other arm so he could wrap it around Sirius. Sirius pressed his chest to Teddy’s back, his both arms wrapping around Remus’ middle.

None of them said anything at first. Just held each other tightly until Teddy started fussing again.

”Dada,” Teddy said and raised his head up to look at his father. Remus smiled widely.

”Hi, Sweetheart,” Remus said and pressed kisses to Teddy’s head. Teddy put his hands on Remus’ face looking at him with curious eyes.

”No bye bye?” he said, brown eyes wide. Remus shook his head.

”That’s right, no bye bye”

Teddy’s face broke into a grin and he burrowed his face into Remus' neck. He turned to look at Sirius who was trying to keep it together. All the stress and worry just seemed to come crashing out of him in that second.

“Oh I’m so glad you’re back,” Sirius said and tried to keep his voice steady. He had no desire to cause a scene in the middle of the airport. Remus pulled Sirius to his side, hugging him to himself.

“Hello to you too,” Remus chuckled and pressed a kiss to his temple. Sirius tilted his head up and Remus took the hint pressing a long kiss to his lips.

“Oh my god, why am I crying?” Sirius said to the kiss pulling off to press his face to Remus’ chest. He rubbed his damp eyes. He glanced at Teddy who was being oddly quiet only to find out the small boy had fallen asleep, his head resting on Remus’ shoulder. The days have for sure been stressful to Teddy, not really understanding why only his other dad was there.

“Finally,” Sirius joked and Remus glanced to see him sleeping too. Remus turned to get his luggage he had left behind himself.

“Come on, let's go home to sleep,” he said to Sirius who wrapped his arm around Remus' waist.

“Those are the best words that have ever left your mouth,” Sirius pretty much moaned.

“And to think I proposed a couple months ago”, Remus muttered.

And Sirius thought how glad and how grateful he is for his little family as the three of them made their way out of the airport.
