The weather was clear that afternoon, Tom was sitting outside reading a book of dark magic ignoring the “friends” he had made in those two years of his schooling at Hogwarts.
He looked up, when the giggles of girls didn’t stop, seeing a group nearby talking while looking in his direction.
There was also a little girl he had noticed before that had a strange effect on him, she had y/h/c hair and y/e/c eyes, he thought her name was Y/n, his last name he didn’t know and he had never talked to her.
She was a y/h/h who was in some of the same classes as him, he happened to be sitting next to her in class and had heard gossip around finding out that maybe the feeling that he felt was caused by her being part Veela.
Aside from her obvious beauty Tom found her strangely…powerful, she was very good at spells and other subjects exactly like him and unlike any of their other classmates.
The girls kept on laughing, glancing at the dark haired boy, making him confused as to why they were laughing, wondering if they were teasing him again or something else, so he looked down again, keeping a blank and composed expression as always, going back to reading the book on his knees.
He moved his eyes again when he noticed some movements close to him, looking up to see Y/n walking towards him and stopping in front of him.
The little girl smiled slightly embarrassed “hello” the boy greeted her back, casting a quick glance at the others who continued to watch them, freezing when he felt something press softly on his cheek discovering it was Y/n’s lips that had just kissed him there “sorry…we were playing” she smiled apologetically leaving after murmuring “I didn’t mean to make you uncomfortable….see you in class”.
Tom watched her go back to the other girls touching slightly the spot where she had kissed him, huffing unnerved when he felt the arm of one of his ‘friends’ on his shoulders and the other sitting next to him “we didn’t know you knew Y/n”.
