CHAPTER 1: How Did I Miss That?
Dumbledore feels old.
Reminiscing over what he did wrong etc, visit to Godrick’s Hollow.
Remus and Sirius don’t know about Danny’s survival.
Finds Lily’s letter, return to Hogwarts.
Traveling to Amity Park, talking to strangers who tell him of their “weirdness”.
Albus knows of ghosts (but not which kind).
Witnessing Jasmine and Danny talk.
Magic can’t be detected due to the high ectoplasm in the city.
Realising that even Voldemort wouldn’t find Danny here…
Albus unsure whether or not Danny should be made aware and trained with magic.
Return to Hogwarts, calling Severus, telling him what he found and forcing the man to come with him
CHAPTER 2: A Change
Severus Snape POV, annoyed that he had no choices in the matter.
Shocked by Jazz (who looks a bit like Lily), who is distrustful of the men and tries to send them away.
Dumbledore bullshits his way through, and Jazz lets them inside.
She is a good host, offering ghostly cakes and tea.
Dumbledore tells her about magic, Jazz in disbelief.
Fenton parents arrive, suspicious of the two men, Maddy recognises their names and Snape.
Maddie assures Jazz that the wizards are telling the truth and is sad to have to tell Danny that he is adopted.
Fentons show they love Danny like a son and Jazz is calmed.
Talking about Danny and his date with Sam and how they hope he is serious with her (because it would be awkward if they continued their feud with Pamela Manson).
Danny enters and Snape confuses him with Harry.
Different eye colour, healthier built and paler
CHAPTER 3: I’m A What Now?
Danny POV.
Flashback to what has happened up until Danny returned and found two wizards in his living room (Fighting Boxy, reveal that his parents know about his halfa status, reveal of his obsession- Protection, change in ghost outfit- ecto swords and better boots, mention of Mirror Ghost Spiegel- set Danny and Sam up XD, nice date with Sam).
Noticing the strangers.
Dumbledore is weird but nice to him, Snape is brooding.
He’s told about magic and subsequently about his adoption…
Denial and disbelief turned into reluctant acceptance, learning about James (and what Purebloods, muggleborns is) and Lily, Voldemort and the war.
Learning about Harry who is seven minutes younger and believing Dumbledore has a reason for showing up now.
CHAPTER 4: Should I Stay or Can I Go?
Danny is constantly on edge.
Albus shows them Lily’s letter to Sirius and Remus.
Panic about reality setting in (poor Danny).
Dumbledore propositioned Danny comes to Hogwarts.
Issues with Danny’s Obsession.
Dumbledore explains why magic wasn’t detecdetected ted in his neighbourhood.
Fenton parents mention medicine to help him.
Danny accepts and Dumbledore promises to return in two days.
Skip to next morning.
Visit to GZ
-first Dora, reveal that Danny is Sir Phantom, questions her about wizards and witches, reference to ‘magical ghosts’ and poltergeists (usage of a lot of magic in life), Danny’s magic feeds off his ectosignature and his core feeds off his magic, send to Frostbite for more information, given a ring that saves ectoplasm and can revitalise him.
CHAPTER 5: Talking, Planning, Explaining
-Skip to Farfrozen, Danny has his own fancy room, he does not yet know of the importance of being Ghost Prince apparent,
Frostbite tells Danny a bit more about the wizarding world, they are immune to the Avada Curse,
Even Frostbite doesn’t know how Harry survived the curse but promises to look into it, explanation of Ministry and how Frostbite knows of all magical schools- he is over 1000 years old, Danny gets an introduction to the wizarding world that Harry never got…,
He gives Danny a Coin that if flipped into green fire allows for him to force open a natural portal (twice), Also gives him a book on spells and their uses etc.
-Off to see Spiegel, background story of them, Cujo hangs out with them from time to time, Spiegel promises to keep an eye on Amity and visit Sam and Tuck from time to time.
-Off to see Clockwork, Danny angsts about his new responsibilities and powers and brother, Clockwork is all chill and promises that Danny will be fine, Danny is Clockwork’s student, warning that ghosts are entering the living world, magic can control ghosts-> they could lose their mind if controlled and kept from their obsession for too long, Clockwork asks that Danny helps them if they need it.
-Off to meet Vlad in his mansion, attacked and questioned what he wants, Vlad allows for a civilised conversation, Danny tells him about Hogwarts but not the magic, Vlad is suspicious of him and intrigued by his secret, they make a deal (Danny will live with Vlad for a week and bring one person along, no more pranks as well as Vlad’s ability to find out what Danny is hiding), they shake on it and ghostly handshakes are like a binding contract.
Danny returns home and tries to mentally prepare himself for telling his friends…
CHAPTER 6: Just A Friendly Talk
-He calls Sam and Tucker over
- Danny explains what’s going on
- His friends are very understanding and supportive
After they leave, Maddie explains how she knew Lily (She lived in Britain until she was around 16 and then came to the US)
CHAPTER 7: A Guest!
- We learn that Danny also has a mind shield from his ectoplasm, after Snape unsuccessfully tried legillimency on him during their talk
- Dumbledore tells the Order about Danny, Remus and Sirius are shocked as fuck
- They argue that Harry should be allowed to come earlier to HQ, to meet his twin
Dumbledore is being a bit stupid…
- Danny is picked up by Dumbledore and meets people at Grimmauld Place
- Disappointed because Harry isn’t there yet and it causes some confusion with Ron and Hermione
He does like Sirius and Remus tho. Remus is also his godfather
CHAPTER 8: Why
-POV Ron, he is not happy with Danny, the other teens aren’t either and they mistrust him and miss Harry a lottt
- Danny has his own issues but at least likes the food
- Some Remus, Sirius and Danny bonding with stories and stuff
At night, he slips out as Phantom, reminiscing about Ellie and Valerie and how the two of them are travelling together and dating
- Next morning, Danny gets taken to Diagon Alley with Remus
In the pub, Danny notices that the wixen look at him weirdly
CHAPTER 9: Diagon Alley
- His first impression is great and he loves the magic, tells Remus he dislidislikes keys the name Daniel
-They head to Gringotts and talk about wizarding culture a little and whether Harry would even like him or not. Remus assures him that Harry is a sweet boy but it may take a while because /trauma/
-After getting the money, they purchase some school stuff and Danny gets spat at a lot, he is called a liar and crazy and stuff
- It makes him mad in his twin’s stead and he lets his glowy eyes show.
- Danny buys a lot of books, which makes Remus happy
They get some ice cream
- They buy an eagle owl (Arianrhod) and Danny wants to use her to write Harry. Remus discourages him from doing so
- Danny gets his wand (12”, Yew, Ice Phoenix Feather) which freezes half the shop and is a callback to his deathly side
- They return to headquarters and eat
Danny sleeps
CHAPTER 10: Settling In and Studying
- Danny meets Sirius and and a sleeping Remus at 5 am in the kitchen the next morning
- Danny learns about Azkaban and what has happened to Sirius and his friends that night and after
- He also learns about Patronus and Dementors
- They have breakfast at around 8 when everyone else comes down
Afterwards, he starts reading the many schoolbooks by creating doppelgängers
-Remus heads off to some important Order mission
- Minerva arrives and explains the teaching process
- Danny shows what he already knows
He is really good in Transfiguration, Charms is easy, Herbology a bit more difficult, Potions shows Danny how annoying Snape is but he is good at it
After that day, he gets a nice welcoming Party into the wizarding world
CHAPTER 11: Hello, Who Are You?
- Danny has a breakfast discussion about immortality with Hermione
- Danny writes his friends and family a letter
He continues his lessons, this time with Runes
- Danny flies off, leaving a duplicate behind
- He meets Van(essa) the enslaved ghost
- He saves her by fighting and winning against her ‘master’ and Death Eater Lord Rainstedt
- There is Mind, Body and Complete Control a ghost could suffer
He frees Vanessa and lets her return to the GZ
- Danny flies to where Harry lives and finds him fending off Dementors
- POV Harry:
- He explains how bad and unwell he is feeling and how this particular summer is even worse than usual
- Mentioned physical and mental abuse
Explanation how he and Dudley ended up with the Dementors
Harry meets Danny
Danny helps Harry with Dudley and goes invisible when Mrs Figg shows up
Harry gets locked forcefully into his room
Danny is very mad at the Dursleys and their reaction to what has happened
- Harry gets the letters
- Trial on august 12th
Danny explains no-maj ghosts to Harry and ends his explanation with the revelation that he is Harry’s twin brother
CHAPTER 12:
- Danny is appalled at the way his brother is treated
- Harry is just shocked at what has just happened
- Danny can feel something wrong coming off of the scar
- Harry has a lot of emotions to the revelation of having a twin
Their magic is very similar and allows them too see some of the other’s memories
- They can now somewhat feel each other’s emotions and influence them if needed
- They get along well and are understanding of each other’s circumstances
Danny shares what he knows about the
- Harry gets picked up by the Advance Guard
- Danny stays by his side invisibly
- Harry and Sirius reunite
- Harry, Hermione and Ron reunite and he tells them he is still annoyed with the lack of letters
He and Danny pretend to meet for the first time
- Danny tells Harry that there is a prophecy about him and Voldemort
- Harry is not doing well when he is told that everyone in Britain believes him to be a liar and attention seeker
He and Danny talk a bit more before joining the other teens and then going to bed
- POV Voldemort
- Voldemort is unhappy with the lack of progress and wants more allies
He meets up with Loyd Rainstedt and is told about muggle ghosts and Phantom
CHAPTER 13: The Hat Can Talk, The Locket Cry, The Only Question Would Be Why
- Harry is glad about his mental connection to Danny
- It’s certainly more comfortable than the one he shares with Voldy
- He learns that his friends are told basically nothing and explains what has transpired so that he is earlier than expected at Grimmauld
He has a panic attack that Danny helps him with
- The teens bond over their mutual hate over Snape
- Danny gets sorted into Gryffindor
- The professors (Dumbledore) want Danny to go by Potter in school
Danny gets letters from his parents and friends courtesy of Ari and also gets a phone running on ectoplasm- so, magic safe
- Danny tells Harry that the Fentons already view him like a second son/brother
- The Weasley twins tell them about the differences of ‘identical’, ‘fraternal’ and ‘core-like’ twins.
- ‘Core-like’ twins can be fraternal or identical but their magical cores are basically the same
That may give them unique abilities (The W twins can read each other’s thoughts and the P twins can share their emotions)
- Their core will grow now that they are close again (more powerful wizards)
- Harry worries about Danny and Danny worries about Harry :)
Danny gets a private tutoring session in Defence from Sirius and the rest have to clean
- Kreature makes an entrance by stealing some trinkets, Sirius tells him off
- Danny and Harry both notice the locket left behind by the elf, though Danny is appalled by it and Harry feels drawn to it
Danny makes it safer for Harry to take the thing and Harry is amazed by how right it feels and why he can somewhat feel it
- after practice, the twins learn about the Black Family’s history
Danny puts a shield of ectoplasm over the locket and keeps it safe in his trunk, Harry is okay with that
CHAPTER 14: Everybody Wants To Be A Ghost (Not Really)
- Danny continues his studies and Harry helps with the cleaning
- Kreacher the House Elf is of no help and ensures that the rooms stay dirty, frustrating the inhabitants
- Harry is nervous about his upcoming trial and Danny tries to ease his worries
- Sirius and Danny are on Harry’s “Let’s hate the Ministry” side
Danny promises Harry a home in Amity Park if Harry were to get expelled
- They talk about the history of wizards, witches and mages/sorcerers
- Danny accidentally shows off his knowledge (that Frostbite and Ghost Writer as well as the Black Library gave him)
Harry dislikes books and prefers to live freely, because of his childhood and because he never knows when the next dark wizard will try to kill him
- Hermione is overjoyed to have found another book fan (though Danny is rather reluctant to admit it)
- Danny tells everyone he has a photographic memory
- Danny gets told he is Heir Potter
Harry gets told he is Heir Black, curtesy of Sirius who is Lord Black
- Danny invites Harry on a nightly flight session for after the trial
- Harry admits to himself that he doesn’t truly trust Dumbledore anymore and is sad about that
More bonding between the twins
- Danny follows his brother to his trial unnoticed
- Danny can smell magic and its nuances
- The twins are shocked to see so many people eager to ruin Harry’s life even further at the trial
They both immediately dislike Umbridge when she tries to make Harry look like a delinquent
- Dumbledore arrives fashionably late and Harry has already given a statement and told them about his witness, Ms Figg
- The twins continue to use their connection to calm each other down
Danny’s ghost sense goes off and he quickly leaves to find the source
- Danny meets the enslaved never-born ghost Silvas
- He finds his mistress, a witch who is trying to steal a magical tome called ‘Spring of Life’ and challenges her to a duel, that he quickly wins
- Silvas gets his revenge by enslaving the witch in return and sewing her mouth shut
Danny feels guilty about that but his primary objective is freeing ghosts- not helping their tormentors
- The trial ends in Harry’s favour
- Harry and Danny get to talk about what just happened and more of Harry’s trauma gets unveiled (he killed his professor in first grade and nobody ever really talked about that with him)
When they return to Grimmauld, curtesy of Arthur, Sirius awaits Danny and asks him privately why he saw three Danny’s at once earlier
CHAPTER 15: All Eyes On Harry (And Danny)
- Remus and Sirius have a mating bond (werewolf and animagus dog can mate, apparently)
- Sirius has weekly sessions with a trusted mind healer
Sirius already feels very protective of the twins and wants to do everything right this times, despite his own issues that he is working on
- Sirius wants to check in on Danny after Harry left for his trial
- In the library he finds three Danny’s, who immediately pop away after staring at each other for a few seconds…
- Sirius is very confused and concerned
- He waits for Harry (and hopefully Danny) to return and tries to remain calm
- Danny doesn’t really want to tell Sirius about Phantom but also doesn’t see a way out, so he tells him, Harry supporting him
Sirius feels like he did everything wrong and betrayed James and Lily’s trust by letting so many bad things happen to their children
- Sirius may feel bad about what has happened but accepts the truth and Danny easily
- Sirius is very sorry about thinking of revenge first and the twins’ safety second on that Halloween night
- Days pass and Harry feels the need to read up a little and even join Danny’s study sessions since Danny already seems to know more than him- and he’s been in the wizarding world
for longer
- Harry and Danny take the promised nightly fly through London
They talk about Danny’s existence and his powers, and they talk about the Zone’s politics (how there’d been a Ghost king named Ouranos with Hades as his servant, followed by Ghost Queen Yggdrasil)
- Clockwork is Danny’s ghostly guardian and mentor, which is why Danny calls him Grandfather
- Then they talk about Harry’s first introduction to the wizarding world and how awful the Dursley’s truly are
They decide they want to go to Diagon together before the obligatory school shopping
- The next day, Snape almost manages to halt the twins’ plans and Dumbledore believes Snape would be a great bodyguard for the brothers
Fortunately, Tonks and Hestia agree to accompany the twins
At Diagon Alley they first go to Gringotts for the inheritance test (Danny is Heir Potter, has a Knighthood and is king-to-be of the Infinite Realms. Harry is Heir to the Black Family and given the title ‘Prince’ because of Danny’s status, he could also claim the Slytherin Heirship through Right of Conquest)
- They take their heir rings and harry has an immediate connection with his’, and he feels comforted by the cold and the shadows around him
They also received private keys to their trust vault and pouches that would give them the amount of money they need
- Harry then buys himself a new wardrobe because his current clothes are all old, too large and/or ripped
- They then go to a shop near Knockturn Alley for new glasses for Harry
- The witch in the shop instead offers to completely repair his eyesight, which is expensive but life long
He takes her up on it and Danny gets himself a mokesquin pouch where he can store almost endless things
- They experience a wizarding restaurant
- They return to HQ
They talk about Danny’s status as Crown Prince and why Harry has a title as well (because he is the king-to-be’s brother) and the existence of his clone Ellie, who is a princess
CHAPTER 16: Final Preparations
- The next day, Harry can now see perfectly and loves it
- Danny and Harry affirm that yes, they are handsome, to each other
Danny tells Harry that he plans to get revenge on the Dursleys for how they’ve treated Harry. Harry is a bit worried but altogether fine with it
- Danny has his exams that week to ensure he could join the OWL classes
- Danny finds Harry and his friends in the middle of a fight where Ron and Hermione want Harry to spend less time with Danny
Harry is understandably confused about what exactly is going on but their argument escalates
- Ron and Hermione do like Danny but just want to have more of Harry’s attention, basically
- They don’t quite understand why having his twin by his side is important for Harry
Harry leaves them to think about it
- Danny wonders if Harry is now a necromancer thanks to the heir ring and his new connection to shadows
There is a difference between necromancers and Wiccan folk that can dabble in necromancy, though Harry isn’t one
- Harry is annoyed at the way his friends are acting but tells Danny that whatever their problem is, it’ll pass
- The atmosphere became stilted because of the fight and dinner wasn’t much fun
- They worry about Sirius who hasn’t shown up all day
The twins find him drunk in his room later that night
- Sirius is ashamed for the way the twins find him
The brothers manage to coax him back to reality. Danny gives him a forceful detox that takes his drunkenness away so they can talk eye to eye
- They take Sirius outside, giving him some time away from the house that caused him a lot of pain and trauma
The trio spends some time watching the night sky and bonding, talking about their issues though Sirius is still worried about their safety and wants to return
- They agree that Danny’s ectoplasm keeps them safe enough and will take Sirius out more often, until they leave for Hogwarts. Harry asks about the ring
Sirius is unsure what it is, but it might be a thought-to-be lost ability that the Black family used to have and was awakened by the Heir ring
- He talks about a possible connection to ‘Deathland’ and Danny thinks that the space in the shadows is the one where memories and imprints of the deceased end up aka Lugar Eterno
- Harry can interact with them
When they return, Ron notices them entering their shared room and ignores them, which hurts Harry
- While Harry goes to sleep, Danny leaves once more
- In an empty area, he creates a portal and invites Poindexter over
- Danny ‘hires’ the ghost to scare the Dursleys till their last threat of sanity is about to snap, without fully hurting them
Poindexter is fully on board and Danny feels more relaxed, knowing that is taken care of. The Dursley’s won’t be able to hurt a child when they’re in a mental institution, after all
- Meanwhile, Voldemort is up to no good, surprise
- He wants more information on the muggle ghosts and especially the one Rainstedt fought
- Rainstedt and Macnair hand him two books on ghosts from the Ministry and Rainstedt tells him about a town in the US that is rumoured to see a lot of ghosts
- Voldemort sends Macnair off to have a look at the town and maybe bring a ghost back with him
He is very excited and looks forward to see his new plan unfold
CHAPTER 17: Hoggy Warty Hogwarts, Teach Us Something, Please
- Danny passes all his exams and exceeds expectations
- The Golden Trio is still not on speaking terms but it’s obvious to everyone but the three that they want to make up
Harry doesn’t understand why Ron became Prefect when Neville would’ve been a better choice
- He does see how his life apparently seems to be looking better (a supportive and protective twin, a loving godfather, new magic…)
- Harry also wonders why his weird dreams have started back up, taking away from his needed sleep
Danny thinks it’s because of their lessened proximity, since he has to go out almost every night the week leading up to Hogwarts to take care of a huge natural portal leading to the GZ
- They had their third outing to Diagon, this time to get their school supplies
- Sirius told Remus about Danny’s halfa status, betraying the boy’s trust and making him disappointed
Danny has them swear an oath to never tell anyone without his permission about him ever again
- Harry stuck with him all the while and calmed him down enough that Danny could accept the newest member in the know and somewhat forgive his quasi uncle
Harry meanwhile learned to become more comfortable with the shadows and can now somewhat control them. They comfort him
- The day they head off to Hogwarts, everyone is excited. The Weasley twins are already planning their pranks and how to distribute their new products
- Harry has renewed problems and pains from his scar and tries to ignore it, not even Danny’s proximity helps in this case
- Danny is looking forward to sending pictures of Hogwarts and the train station from his magic-resistant phone to his friends.
- Sam and Tucker had told him about the weird looking people that had roamed Amity Park for a while
He misses them but is also happy with his current life
- At the station, Harry sees the Malfoys and feels hatred toward Lucius for being a free man and able to take care of his son despite being a death eater and terrorist
- Danny is a bit disappointed that the express to Hogwarts is just that- a train with compartments, nothing special
They (the twins and Ginny) find a compartment with Neville and Luna in it and Neville is very surprised to see two Harry’s
- Neville immediately welcomes Danny
- Luna is introduced to everyone in the compartment and she freaks everyone a bit out when she mentions Nargles and other beings that only she can see
Neville and Luna believe Harry that Voldemort is back and the boy offers his support, which warms Harry
- Draco Malfoy makes an entrance
- He is very dumbfounded when he also finds Harry’s twin
- He does not shake the hand Danny offers him, too confused to react much besides disbelief
- Malfoy is also angry that Harry is Heir Black
- Harry almost starts a physical fight when Malfoy mentions Lucius Malfoy
His friends ask if Harry is okay after Draco leaves in a huff
- Harry manages to relax, his occlumency training starting to pay off (Danny had told him about it and given him some tips)
- Danny starts texting his friends and they argue about the pros and cons of magic
- They arrived in Hogsmead and notice the Thestrals
The first look at Hogwarts is magical and Danny loves it
- They seat themselves unnoticed at the Gryffindor table and notice The Toad sitting at the teacher’s table. No one is happy about it
- Harry’s mood worsens when Voldemort decides to somehow push his emotions into Harry’s scar
- The housing starts and at the end, Dumbledore lets the bomb of Daniel Potter drop. Chaos ensues
- Hermione tells everyone off and wishes to speak with Harry later, intending to apologise
They head to bed and Harry gets a vision
- Voldemort has acquired a ghostly prisoner: Skulker
- He is very happy about it and tries to get as much information from the ghost as possible
- Skulker does lie about Phantom, implying that the whelp is a simple ghost
Voldemort doesn’t believe him and tells him as much, telling him that he has all the time in the world to get satisfactory answers
