If I'm so great why do so many people hate me.
"Why do you like me?" the ravenette asked.
"Why wouldn't I? You're amazing." his boyfriend replied.
"But, why?"
Lifting his eyebrow Remus said "'Cause you're smart, and funny, and handsome, and nice to be around."
"No I'm not!"
"Yes you are."
"No I'm not. If I was then more people would like me. If I was then my parents would have loved me. If I was I would have more friends. If I was than your friends wouldn't bully me. If I was then everyone wouldn't find it funny when I'm messed with."
"Sev, none of that is your fault. And none of it has to do with who you are. People can be really horrible sometimes but that doesn't change who or what you are. I'm so, so very sorry you feel that way. And I am so sorry that for the first four years of school I contributed to your treatment. But, who are you going to believe me, or your parents and our horrible classmates?"
"I want to believe you, I really do. But, all of the evidence is in front of me."
"There is no evidence. Just peoples unbased, idiotic, opinions that they treat as fact."
"You do to, your opinions are no more factual than their's."
"Maybe not. But, my opinions don't hurt anyone. Plus, I actually know you, as do your friends. The people who treat you bad don't."
"I guess that's true. I still feel bad, though."
Sighing Remus said "You will. But, you just have to remember that there is no basis or reasonable explanation for their actions."
"You're probably right." The older boy said before quietly laying across his boyfriends lap.
