First day of school Pt.1
- Monday, September 1st, 2003-
Harry blinked awake. 'Ugh, why?' He did not want to get up why did he always have to get up at 5:00. Oh, right, 10 kids. At least he only had four kids to get ready unlike Hermione who had six, though as a result he had to make breakfast.
Getting up the two 23 year olds got ready. Once done Harry went and made breakfast. Meanwhile Hermione got Artemis, Persephone, and Aphrodite ready.
At 6:00 Harry went back upstairs and first got Freya and Jason ready before moving on to Remus. Once done, at around 6:40, he went into to Calypso's room to get her ready.
Gently shaking her shoulders Harry said "Callie, love, wake up. Come on it's your first day of school. You need to wake up, love."
Calypso opened her eyes and said "No.".
Harry laughed and said "I'm afraid so, come on. You'll like it. Besides you'll have a special treat when you get home."
Enticed Calypso decided to get up. Once the toddler was out of her bed Harry helped her get dressed and brush her teeth. Once done Harry walked her downstairs to the table before helping Hermione bring the other eight (Zephyr was already at the table to) to the table.
Once the family was finished with breakfast and cleaned up the younger kids were taken to the living room. After which the parents helped the toddlers finish getting ready for school then apparated them over.
Once they arrived in the three year old room a teacher quickly came over to them.
"Hello, it's nice to meet you! I'm Mx. Anne, what are the kids name?"
Harry took the initiative saying "This, is Calypso R. Potter, and this is Zephyr A. Potter" pointing at each kid as he introduced them.
"Ah yes, I see their names right here. You can send them in."
"Great." Harry began "But, I do have one question if you don't mind."
"Oh."
"Well, I noticed you said "Mx." Anne, instead of Ms. or Mr. Anne, why exactly?"
"Oh, yes that. Well I'm nonbinary and so prefer that term to either Ms. or Mr., hence why I use it".
"Oh. Okay, thanks for the information."
Mx. Anne nodded so the two parents got down at the kids level to wish them goodbye before sending them in and leaving.
