Chapter 14
Draco's POV
"Okay. I'll be taking my turn now. Never have I ever insulted a house elf," George grinned.
"Screw you. I'll get back at you later," Granger yelled as she drank from her shotglass.
"What happened?" Aunt Bella asked.
"Last school year, I began hiding clothes in Gryffindor Tower in an attempt to free the house-elves of Hogwarts. They didn't appreciate what I did and stopped cleaning our common room," Granger replied.
"Granger, if you have read about house elves, you would know they would be insulted if their services are repaid by anything other than kindness." Father informed her.
"I didn't know that at that time," Hermione defended. "Bye the way, Serpentine, how did you get your house elf to wear clothes?"
"I'm curious as well," Mother said.
"That's because I didn't. She made those."
After I explained how it happened (which involved a lot of glitters, at least three pairs of broken scissors, and yarn), we went back to the game.
"Never have I ever had the Sorting Hat consider putting me in a different house," Uncle Tom said.
Granger, Uncle Tom, and Serp all drank at that. Wait a minute, Serp drank. I get that Granger and Uncle Tom could have been in Ravenclaw but Serp. What other house did the hat consider putting him in?
It was like he knew I was thinking about it cause he answered my question.
"The hat wanted to put me in Slytherin at first but as you can see I managed to convince it otherwise," Serpentine stated.
"I - what? How?" Aunt Bella asked.
"The first two people who I have spent thirty minutes with when I first entered the Wizarding World are Hagrid and Ron. As for the how, it took five minutes just to convince the hat that I should go elsewhere." Serpentine said.
"We need to get you resorted next school year," Uncle Sev said.
