I Have a Secret (Newt Scamander x Child! Reader)
Summary
"Y/N, you have to eat something." He spoke quietly. The child still kept the blanket over their head. "I'm not going to leave you alone until you eat this." They still didn't move. He sighed quietly. "If you eat everything off the plate, I'll show you a secret." Y/N carefully sat up to look at Newt. "A secret?" He smiled. "Yes, I'll show you the secret in my case, and then I want you to tell me your secret."

Chapter 1

Alright, welcome one and all to my Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them story! So, by the title, this is a reader insert; but the twist is, that you, are a little child. So obviously because of the age difference, the relationship between Newt and Y/N, will purely be friendship/ family like. Before you begin reading, a few things we need to go over.

1. The story will be in 3rd person, so I will use non-binary pronouns (they, them, etc.) since I have no idea who the majority of people will read this; and because it is simpler for everyone. If you don't like how the pronouns are, do what I always do: imagine that it says your pronoun, and keep reading.

2. The recommended ages to imagine yourself being in this story is 7-14. Yes, the older ages will sound EXTREMELY childish, but the excuse....you'll have to find out for yourself.

3. There will be violent scenes/imagery in the future, but nothing explicit.

4. Some swearing will be used. Most being British slang/swears.

5. I'm opened to having any ideas for chapters. Unless it will conflict with the plot I have created. (Yes, there is a plot.)

6. Themes like: abuse, discrimination, trauma, and torture, will be reflected in this story. Some will be used during different times in the story.

8. If I ever randomly type that someone looks down at you (literally), then please don't be surprised. I hightly doubt that a lot of you are taller than Eddie Redmayne. But then again, what do I know?

Alright, I think that's it! Now, go ahead and read!
