It really makes you rethink everything

It's the day after the 20th anniversary of Salazar, his widow Rowena visited them late last night with some troubling news...

Helga said, "What Row told us last night, it was horrible. To think that she had a son wandering around the world without her knowledge of his very existence for Merlin knows how long... it's unimaginable really."

Godric muttered, "It's terrible. We always knew Sal was a bad egg, but this is next level evil."

Helga replied, "It really makes you rethink everything when you think about it..."

Godric asked, "Whatever do you mean?"

Helga shrugged. "He made Row forget all about their son, but why? She cannot even recall her pregnancy, it has all been wiped from her brain. Try to put yourself in her shoes for a moment when she received that owl yesterday morning from her son who she didn't even know existed."

Godric frowned. "Yesterday was already an emotional day for her as is considering everything, I can't imagine the pain she went through reading that letter.."

Helga told him, "Try to imagine that I was in her position after your death... 20 years had passed since your passing and then on the very anniversary, a letter arrives from a son I never even knew existed. One which you had gone out of your way to ensure I forgot about." She shuddered. "I can't even begin to imagine it..."

Godric was usually not one for being affectionate, but he pulled her into a hug. "I know that it's hard for you as her best friend, but for the love of Merlin, please try to put it out of your mind. I can swear on both of our childrens' lives that I would never dare do such a heinous deed to you. I love you, Galahad and Guinivere with all of my heart and soul. I would rather die than dream of hurting any of you, Hel."

Helga whispered, "I love you and the kids too, Ricky."
