“If he’s going to bring a girl home, again!” Theodore said, taking a seat with an extremely tired looking Pansy Parkinson and Blaise Zabini. “He should at least silence his room!”
“It’s the same girl.” Pansy said, fighting back another yawn. “I looked at the door when I got woken up to the sound of Draco’s headboard being banged into the wall.”
“I’m all for having fun and a secret girlfriend, but this. This is getting out of control.” Blaise said, taking a look at the clock on the wall.
“It’s about two-ish and they have been at it for about one and a half hours roughly.” Pansy said, rolling her eyes at the statement and getting comfortable on the couch.
“Whoever the hell Draco is seeing is one wild girl.” Theo said, smirking at Blaise.
“You know I’d usually be disgusted by you two, but I really want to know who Draco’s seeing.” Pansy told the two boys.
“She’s got to come down sooner or later, she’s never stayed the night before, she's always gone in the morning.” Theo said, looking up over at the stairs
“So any guesses on who she might be?” Blaise asked Pansy and Theo.
“No, we can just ask him at breakfast or something.” Theo said, he was barely awake and pretty much over all of this.
“If he keeps us up any later I’ll be asleep until lunch.” Pansy said with an annoyed look on her face.
“At least your didn’t have to share a dorm with him in Hogwarts, fuck me he was pretty bad then especially during 8th year.” Blaise told Pansy.
“Fuck I just really want to know who she is.” Pansy said “I mean come on how long has it been since he’s been this happy.”
“You know he doesn’t roll his eyes anymore when I burn something in the kitchen.” Theo said, looking quite pleased with himself.
“Ok we are getting off track here, I want to know who she is!” Pansy said huffing as she flopped back into the couch.
“Alright we are all Slytherins here come on let’s come up with a plan.” Blaise said as confidently as he could.
“Honestly I think we should just wait for them to come downstairs. She's got to leave at some point and she has to get her shoes.” Theo said.
“Right so it’s been about two hours now, maybe a little more, they can’t be that much longer.” Pansy said.
It had now been another hour and all three of them had fallen asleep on the couch, Theo was the first to fall asleep but that didn’t surprise Pansy or Blaise.
Blaise was next to fall asleep but nothing would stop a determined Pansy, except the idea of sleeping because everything was quiet.
Everyone was quiet until she heard someone coming down the stairs, her eyes shot open. She was still on the couch and it was now light.
She looked over to the stairs to see who was coming to claim the shoes and exactly who had enough stamina to last three whole hours.
Hermione awoke the next morning exhausted and slightly sore, she rolled over in bed expecting to be on her own until she almost slapped the person sleeping next to her.
“Granger.” Draco groaned from beside her. “Go back to sleep.” He told her, burying his face into the pillow.
“Draco, I think we overslept.” Hermione said, looking over at the small clock on Draco’s bedside table.
Draco was already asleep again, she sat up and threw her pillow at him trying to get him to wake up.
“Hermione! Go back to sleep, hold on Granger? Merlin, you were supposed to go home last night.” Draco said after he finally realised what was going on.
“Yes I know that’s why I woke you up!” She whispered to him aggressively.
“Shit let’s get you out of here before everyone wakes up.” Draco said, chuckling on some boxers and the closest t-shirt.
“Have you seen my clothes?” Hermione asked, looking around the room for her stuff.
“Shit no, here take this.” Draco said, giving her a t-shirt. “Hold on, let me find pants I’ll take you home.”
Draco stuck his head out of the door making sure no one was awake yet, no lights were on and he couldn’t hear anyone in the kitchen.
“ Alright, the coast is clear, let's just be as quiet as possible. Everything should be all right.” Draco said, trying to sound like he wasn’t lying through his teeth.
“We are going to sleep at my flat next time.” Hermione said still feeling quite sore from the night before.
“Agreed.” He whispered to her as they made their way down the stairs trying to walk past the living room.
Unfortunately for Draco and Hermione per usual, Pansy had a different plan.
Pansy’s jaw practically dropped to the ground when she saw Hermione Granger sneaking down the stairs with Draco Malfoy.
“Your shagging Granger!” Pansy said loud enough for Theo and Blaise to hear from the couch.
Theo and Blaise shot up from the couch looking over at Pansy then looking over at Draco and Hermione standing at the bottom of the stairway.
“I’m sorry did you just say Granger.” Theo said with an astonished look on his face as he made his way over to the couple with Blaise.
“This isn’t how we were going to tell people.” Hermione said, trying to avoid eye contact with everyone in the room.
“Oh this is gold.” Blaise said taking a moment to try and keep himself from laughing until he couldn’t anymore.
“Not funny Zabini.” Draco said deathstairing the three as they all started to crack up.
“Granger, I'm impressed.” Pansy said, looking her up and down.
“What?” Hermione asked, extremely confused, looking up to Draco to see if he knew what was going on. Draco shrugged.
“I mean three hours with Draco is pretty impressive.” Pansy said, giving Draco a look. Hermione only went red in response, Draco on the other hand looked like he was going to commit a felony.
“Alright let’s not start a brawl here, Granger come sit I’ll make you some break.” Blaise said, putting his hand over Hermione’s shoulder and guiding her into the kitchen.
“Can I shower first?” Hermione asked, looking around at the three.
“Yeah sure Granger go ahead, I’m going to guess you're a tea person.” Theo said, causing Hermione to laugh.
Once Hermione was out of earshot Draco started his lecture.
“Right cats out of whatever you call it, you Pansy will not tease her or hit on her at all! Blaise you will not make her try your weird breakfast and Theo, you keep your mouth shut.” Draco said, taking a much needed deep breath.
“Yeah alright don’t get your knickers in a knock.” Pansy said, rolling her eyes at him and heading up to her room to get ready.
“Fine I’ll cook the most boring thing possible you unsalted human being.” Blaise quipped walking back to the kitchen.
“One question.” Theo said, Draco nodded his head. “Is she the girl from like the last week or so of eighth year?”
“Yep!” Theo heard someone yell from the top of the staircase.
“Alright Granger let’s get you in the shower, mind if I join you?” Draco said, making his way to the stairs to join her.
“NO MALFOY I WANT A SHOWER AND I NEED HOT WATER.” Pansy yelled from the other room.
“Quick Granger run!”
