birthday present
Sirius was a sculptor, he worked for the museum as a consultor, and he also made replicas of famous sculptures. It was his favorite thing in the world. He loved watching the stone turn into something beautiful. He loved carving it and watching every single stroke come to life.
‘Happy Birthday, Sirius’ James said as he walked him into a big room while covering his eyes. James took the scarf around Sirius’s eyes. Speechless he looked at James with glowing eyes and walked towards it.
It was a huge block of marble, beautiful.
‘Well? do you like it?’ asked his best friend.
‘Y-yeah… yes! it’s wonderful I love it, thank you, so much James I love you’
‘I love you too buddy, now Pads, I’m afraid we’ll have to go back to ours because there may or may not be a huge party waiting for you.’ James padded him on the shoulder with a huge grin on his face.
Sirius couldn’t keep his eyes off of it, there was something about it he couldn’t quite figure out. ‘Yeah okay mate, let’s go’ he replied, unable to stop a smile from forming. It looked beautiful, like a full moon high in the sky. The details, the silvery strokes on the marble that looked like scars on a body. Sirius loved it.
