Unwanted Visitor

Tony and Bruce looked at each other and quietly groaned. Jane had become a pest to the Science Bros since Thor left. She kept calling and visiting, insisting to know if they heard anything about Thor. The two scientists had hoped that Jane would have given up after Thor had been gone so long.

The minute the elevator doors opened, Jane stepped out and zeroed in on Thor. She smiled and rushed toward him, ignoring everyone in the room. Thor barely had enough time to stand when Jane threw herself into his arms and planted a kiss on his lips. For his part, Thor is shocked to see Jane and doesn't respond to her kiss, but Jane doesn't notice.

Meanwhile, Evie watched this strange woman rush in and throw herself at her father. She furrowed her confused brow and looked at Natasha, who scowled. When the stranger kissed Evie's father, her eyes widened and narrowed. She crossed her arms and glared at the woman.

Tony almost laughed when he looked at Evie and Natasha. He elbowed Bruce in the ribs, getting his friend's attention. Bruce looked at Tony, and Tony nodded toward his Goddaughter and Natasha. “The Spider and the Lightning Bug look the same,” Tony told his friend.

Bruce looked at Evie and Natasha and smirked, “If I had to guess, it seems they're jealous,” Bruce whispered to Tony.

Finally, Evie had enough of this woman pawing at her father. She walked toward Thor and looked up at him, “Daddy, who is this strange woman? And Why is she all over you?” Evie demanded.

Thor unwrapped Jane's arms from around his neck and stood back. He kneeled before Evie and looked her in the eyes, “Petal, this is Jane Foster, a friend of mine. She helped me when your grandfather exiled me to Midgard.”

At that moment, Jane realized that the little girl was called Thor Daddy. She looked down at the little girl and noticed she was a replica of Thor. Jane frowned, instantly not liking that Thor had a daughter. It was one thing to know that Thor had past lovers; it was another to see proof of it.

Thor looked up at Jane, and she instantly schooled her face. Thor smiled, “Jane Foster, allow me to introduce you to Evelyn Thorsdottir, Princess of Asgard and my daughter,” Thor said proudly.

Jane gave Evie a fake smile and shook her hand, holding it slightly tighter than she needed to, “It's nice to meet you, Evelyn,” Jane told Evie in a sweet, saccharine voice.

Evie returned the greeting with a fake smile, “It's nice to meet you too, Ms. Foster.”

Natasha noticed how Jane squeezed Evie's hand harder than needed, and The Black Widow unbuckled her gun from it's holster. Seeing that Natasha was one second from shooting Jane, Tony quickly jumped into the conversation. He clapped his hands to get everyone's attention, “Well, Jane, you arrived just in time. We were about to have dinner. Would you like to join us?”

Jane smiled and accepted. She took Thor by the arm and followed Tony. Thor looked back at Evie and Natasha, standing with Lady Sif, and gave them a sheepish smile.

Evie's eyes narrowed when she saw Jane fawning over her father, “I don't like her,” Evie told Natasha and Sif.

“Neither do I, Sweetie,” Natasha told Evie.

“I never did like her,” Sif added, “She's not worthy of Thor.”

Evie and Natasha nodded in agreement. Sif and Natasha looked at each other and followed the others. When the adults left, Evie's friends surrounded her, “Is it me, or does she seem like a bitch?” Carmen asked.

The group of children agreed with Carmen, and then the group of children followed after the adults.

The kids entered the elevator, and Peter looked at Evie, saying, “I hope your dad doesn't marry her.”

Briefly, lightning flashed in Evie's eyes, “Over my dead body,” Evie growled.

When they got to the top floor, everyone was about to sit. The kids looked at Evie, and Hermione nodded toward Jane. The woman was going to sit next to her father, “Oh, hell no,” Evie whispered and rushed towards her father. She smiled sweetly at her dad, “May I sit next to you, Daddy?”

Thor grinned at his daughter, “Of course, Petal.”

“Great! Aunt Tasha can sit on your other side!” Evie exclaimed.

Natasha smirked and sat on the other side of Thor, forcing Jane to sit across from Thor. Meanwhile, Loki grinned at his niece's devious nature. He sat beside Evie, leaning toward her, “Very well played, My Niece. A deception worthy of me.”

Evie gave her uncle an innocent look, “I have no idea what you're talking about, Uncle,” Evie said innocently, then smirked.

Loki had to contain his laughter and patted Evie on the head, “Shall we eat now?” Loki asked.

Tony smiled brightly, “Yeah, let's eat.” With that they served themselves, with Thor serving Evie, as usual, and they ate their dinner.
