Chapter 5
This was it. Finally the day of the big dodgeball match that would determine my whole life. I put my hair in its usual messy bun, put an old t shirt and old shorths on. I didnt even try to look good beacuse I already knew I did. As I was walking out I got a call from my friend Julia. She said that she had started dating the corner and was very happy. Oh gosh. I could not wait for my happy ending just like that.
I walked out the door quiclky got to the starbucks. I was looking forward to seeing zelek.
"Hey renusi, why did you get all dressed up for work?" Said zelek, as i aproached the counter.
"Oh, nothing. There is a big dodgeball game at my work today, and i gotta be ready you know, i gotto win."
"Well, I think you look beautiful" he said flirtatiously, and i blushed.
"Um so-" i started to say, but zelek cut me off.
"One skinny frappa lappa machocino coming right up." He said
I went down to sit at the table. Oh my god zelek was perfect. He knew me so well.!,!,!
I got my skinny frapppa lappa machocino and went right to school. Draco greeted me at the door" he was wearing shorts and a thisirt and looked super hot." Hey renusi, you ready for the big day?" He said energetically. " as ready as i ll ever be." I said. " great, lets go to the gym" he said. We arrived at the gym. It was already packed with thousands of students and staff.
"Come meet team" said draco and he led me over to around 2 thousand students and staff.
"Ooooooooookaaaaaaaaaaaaay" said a voice through the speakers. Leeeeeeeetssssss staaaaaaaart!.
Ten balls flew from the heavens towards each side of the pitch. Draco expertly caught one. I looked to see one ball was heading my way. I screamed as loud as I could and ran to the other side of the pitch. The ball landed hard on the ground. "Whew". I said.
The game went on for ten minutes, while i just stood on the side, to avoid making any contact with a ball.
I was daydreaming when i heard a voice sceam " RENUSI!,!!!" I looked and saw draco holding a ball. He threw in my direction, telling me to catch it. Once again, i screamed at the top of my lungs and ran away, but wasnt fast enough. The ball hit me hard in the head. I screamed even though it didnt hurt. The whole thousand people stopped what they were doing to look towards me, meanwhile i glared at draco. "HOW.DARE.YOU!!!!!" I shouted at him. "DONT YOU KNOW WHO I AM MALFOY? I AM RENUSI, THATS RIGHT, RENUSI, AND YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO DO THAT TO ME!!!
I walked out of the gym, tears, streaming down my face. I could not believe draco betrayed me like that. I was sure we had something special. But now..... I was only sure of one thing.
I would never talk to Draco Malfoy, ever again.
