Wednesday x Enid)

“Goody Addams, you haunt me still.” A deep voice, layered with different tones growled out.

No, this isn’t how this is normally supposed to go, Wednesday thought, I need to get this back on schedule. She pushed her body to move, but she had already been frozen by Crackstone’s staff. For a man who hated outcasts, he sure did love their methods.

The undead pilgrim walked closer to her, and when she glanced down, Wednesday could just barely make out the sight of that damned knife in the light of the candles.

Normally, the dream would skip past this, moving on to watching her beloved fight the Hyde. While that wasn’t ideal, at least she knows that Enid will be ok. As if time slowed down, Wednesday watched with wide eyes as knife passed through her Nevermore uniform and continued onward, cutting through flesh and tissue as if it was butter.

Crackstone pushed the knife even deeper, allowing Wednesday to watch as her deep maroon, almost black blood, poured from between her skin and the knife. Logically, she knew that it would be worse if the knife was removed, but all she could think about was that she was going to die.

Her breath came in short bursts, sweat poured down her face as Crackstone twisted the knife, pulling a whimper from her lips. Wednesday could hear Crackstone speaking to her, but it went in one ear and out the other. As time began to move again, she slumped up against the pillar, just like before.

“Sweet dreams, Wednesday!” Taunted Gates, as she slammed the doors to the Crypt shut.

This time, Wednesday knew that there was not going to be a ghost coming to her rescue, she was going to die alone, just like she had told Enid.

After wolfing out, Enid’s senses were much more refined, especially when it came to the love of her life. After Crackstone, Ajax had clearly been afraid of her, so she dumped him, falling for the dark figure that is Wednesday Addams.

While Wednesday’s way of love was different, Enid soon came to realize that she was very romantic, leaving full roses (Wednesday usually cut off the heads like her mother) on her bed, tied to a poem, detailing how much she loved her. The dark girl would walk Enid to class, glaring at anyone who dared bump into the colorful werewolf. Once Enid was at her class, her adorable raven would give her a short kiss, despite the hatred for PDA.

Wednesday was everything that Enid could ask for, yet she could tell that something was bothering the seer. Wednesday would wake up covered in sweat and exit their bed, locking herself in the bathroom for hours on end, until her side of the bed was cold. Yes, Enid knew something was wrong, had a guess that it had to do with the night of the blood moon, but Wednesday wouldn’t tell her.

Thanks to her newly discovered werewolf senses, she was able to wake up when she felt Wednesday began to toss and turn, but today was different. Today, whimpers escaped her ravens mouth as her tan hands sought out Enid’s colorful body, gripping on tightly once she found it. Fear filled Enid’s eyes, she had never seen Wednesday so scared before. Her claws came out as she slowly began to shake Wednesday awake, getting more frightened each passing second that the Addams didn’t wake up.

Enid had had nightmares before, but they were always short and Wednesday was always there to comfort her. However, when the seer finally woke up, she let out a strangles cry, pulling on her jet black hair.

Enid shushed her, holding her tightly as Wednesday shook and silently sobbed, curling tightly into her girlfriend. Enid had never seen such raw emotion from the girl, only love, anger, and homicidal thoughts. This, compared to all her other nightmares, was the worst.

“It’s okay, babycakes, you are okay.” Enid whispered softly, rocking her back and forth.

Slowly, Wednesday began to calm down, slipping back into her dreamworld as Enid held her tightly. She didn’t know when her girlfriend would be ready to talk about what happened that night, but she had seen the scars, and would love her all the same once Wednesday told the werewolf.
