(Owl House) It worked?
Two people walked up a path to a huge mansion sitting at the top of the hill. Both of their hearts were beating faster then anyone would expect when walking up toward a house. However these two girls had a secret and as they got closer to the iron gate, one couldn’t keep her mouth shut.
“Are you sure this is a good idea? Not that I mean that I am embarrassed to be dating you or anything but won’t your parents be upset?” Luz asked as she began to ramble nervously saying anything that came to mind.
“Luz, I love you and if they disagree that’s their problem.” Amity replied although the nervous twitching of her hand in Luz’s made it clear that she was anything but calm.
They were expecting not to be allowed in or come in and be yelled at inside but Amity’s parents standing waiting there for the girls was surprising. Luz squeezed her girlfriend’s hand and walked up to the two adults who were glaring at both of them.
“Mom, Dad this is-“
“Save it Amity!” Odalia cut in, “We know that you are dating this human.” The gold eyes looked Luz’s body up and down.
The tan girl paled while Amity held her hand tighter.
“Did you actually think we would approve of this?” Alador asked.
The two girls looked at the ground in shame before Amity spoke up.
“I love Luz! I am not just going to break up with her because you don’t approve!”
Luz looked at her, happy that she wasn’t giving into her parents.
“Amity Blight! You are in so much trouble! You are forbidden from seeing this… CREATURE anymore.”
As soon as Amity opened her mouth the reply out of the bushes jumped what looked like a huge wolf. Its brown fur was soaked while its red eyes boar into the 4 who were standing in shock. The animal took its opening and lunged at Amity barely missing as Luz yanked the frozen girl out of the way.
The wolf landed on the ground and lunged back now aiming for both of the girls. Luz stood in front of Amity taking a claw to her outstretched arm before slamming down an ice glyph, stabbing the creature. Blood leaked down the ice as Luz slide down to her knees in shock of what she had done.
“I killed it…”
“Luz look at me… I don’t care if you killed it. You did it to protect me and for that I will always see you as my hero.”
A sniffle came from Luz as a few tears still leaked out, which Amity quickly wiped away. A deep sigh came from behind them.
“I may not like this but I approve. You can date… Luz was it?” Alador said in defeat.
“ALADOR??”
“Luz just saved our daughter’s life, I don’t care what species she is.”
Luz and Amity embraced happy that even though Luz got hurt they didn’t have to hide any longer.
