Hello all! Happy New Year! I started off 2021 joining this world in hopes of exploring my passion for writing a bit and engaging with the stories I love. However, fairly quickly, life got away from me (as it tends to do in a pandemic) and I failed to continue writing. This story is my attempt to start up again. This chapter is very rough (I know it and will probably come back to edit it at some point soon), but I wanted to get it out there to get your takes on this initial idea.
