Different Case

 * A few weeks later *

~ Arabella POV ~

I sighed feeling the sun on my face when I wanted to move my hand tightened its grip on me.

I opened my eyes after Will to notice that I was sleeping between Hannibal and Will.

Before I could panic the memories of the previous day came flooding back to me. We were all celebrating after finally catching the Killer. 

He was more clever and clever in hiding his tracks than we originally thought.
After a long seven weeks we managed to find him but only for one reason.

He made one mistake which was to choose me as his next victim. 

He apparently watched me for several days before deciding to make his move. I decided to let myself go for a run, I was infuriated by Crawford. 

He kept forgetting that Hadrian and I do not work for the FBI and he is not our boss. He wanted to force me to help with other cases and had the audacity to try to intimidate me when I didn't agree. 

I got out of bed carefully before heading to the bathroom to take a shower. I was glad we were in my room so I could quietly take clean clothes with me. 

I sighed in relief as I felt the warm water hit me. I got into an argument with him that involved Will, Hannibal and Hadrian when they went to check what was going on. 

I was glad at the time that we left Icarus, Pandora and Hades that day with Will pack. Their adopted daughter Abigail said she would take them and Winston for a walk. 

Hadrian and I met her during our first week here. A very nice and young girl who was interested in my skills. I tried to answer all her questions as best I could. 

I knew they would react aggressively to Crawfort and if he raised his hand at me Hades and Icarus would attack him without a second thought.

Hadrian, Will and Hannibal stood around me partially blocking me from Crawfort's gaze. 

The men knew that before long the quarrel would become physical despite the fact that I am 90% composed and can control my emotions. 

Handrian caught me before I could lash out at Crawfort when he broached the subject of my parents and how they would be disappointed in me for refusing to help. 

Will immediately started yelling at him knowing that the subject of my family was sensitive to me. Hannibal was agitating Will not suing Crawfort to get him off balance. 

I pushed Hadrian away from me before leaving the room yelling for them to leave me alone.

Hadrian knew that following me would be a bad idea and grabbed Hannibal and Will before they did. 

He told them it would be better for them to leave me alone for a while so I wouldn't let my anger out on them. I can be brutally honest at that point or say something cruel that I will regret later. 

The worst is if it's a mixture of the two, it's happened a few times but honestly none of the times on my little family. 

 I went to a nearby park that led into a deeper forest. In the bathroom, I changed into my workout clothes before heading down the path, unaware that someone was following me.  

I stood in front of Crawfort barely restraining myself from hitting the man. He wanted me to take care of the case of another killer. 

He did not ask me for help more he took me to another room and ordered me to find out as much as I could. When I told him no he had the audacity to ask why NO. 

I reminded him at that point that he is not my boss and I am only here because of Will who asked me to help him with the Oppressor. He didn't like my answer, which fostered a loud argument between us 

'' What's going on here? '' asked Will standing next to me 

'' Your boss thinks that if I agreed in helping with the Silencer I am at his every call. He doesn't understand the word no how and that my priority is this case and won't take care of others. The only reason why I am here with Hadrian is to spend time with you as well as help you '' I replied 

'' You don't have to be so stubborn. What would your parents say if they knew their darling daughter doesn't want to help people '' he said 

'' YOU LITTLE '' I started before Hadrian grabbed me in his arms 

'' WHAT THE HELL JACK! '' shouted an enraged Will 

'' DON'T YOU DARE INVOLVE MY PARENTS IN THIS YOU LAZY SLACKER! WE KNOW THAT IT IS BECAUSE OF WILL AND HIS SKILLS THAT THEY ARE EFFICIENTLY SOLVED! '' I shouted angrily at the audacity of this men 

'' Listen you '' Not you listen Jack '' he was interrupted by a serious Hannibal. 

The three of them got into their own argument. I could feel my anger getting stronger. I knew I had to leave before I did something to him. I pushed myself out of Hadrian's arms before leaving the room slamming the door behind me. 

I could hear Rin telling them to give me time to cool down knowing that when I am angry I am not in control of what I say. 

I got into our rental car before heading to the park where I could run and relax. I found myself in one that was part of a forest and w led one path deeper into the woods. 

I took my more comfortable clothes to change into which I had in the car and changed in the bathroom. I don't know how much time had passed since I started running but I felt free and like all the anger was gone from me. 

I stopped for a moment and leaned against a tree bark root. I looked at my watch and was not surprised that I was a little tired. 

I ran at a fairly fast type for the last 20 minutes without stopping once. I'm glad I'm in such good shape. I suddenly stiffened as I heard a few branches break behind me. 

I knew I was alone here and it could have been some animal. However, I didn't want to be careless so I pushed off from the trunk and started looking around. 

I only had my dagger with me for defense because I didn't want to run around with a gun. I turned toward where I heard footsteps coming from. 

I cursed in my mind that she had also left her phone in the car without feeling it in her pocket. I looked around when I suddenly heard movement at the last moment I jumped aside avoiding my attacker. Standing in front of me was the man we were all looking for 

" Be good girl '' he said I knew he was getting ready to attack again 

'' and don't give me any trouble " he continued before lashing out at me

I have never been happier that he continued to learn self-defense over the years. I knew I had to tire him out knowing that I could be stronger than the average girl he is a man. 

I could see that he was trained and ready to fight me. I moved at a run between the dense trees hoping to slow him down. I grabbed a branch and bent it hoping to hit him with it. I heard a crack and a shout 

'' YOU WILL PAY FOR IT '' I heard not safely close to me 

'' I got you! '' he said knocking me over. I managed to push him off me before we fought over his dagger. I clipped him off my feet before I could kick him where no man wants to be kicked he grabbed me by the nigga and knocked me over. He lifted himself up with a sinful smile however before he could touch me Two dogs rushed at him 

'' Hades Ikar '' I said before there is issued a shot in the air 

'' Abigail '' I said with relief 

'' I'm glad papa let me do my gun license '' she said before she gave me the rope with which I tied the unsub 

'' Call  for Will '' I said

 It didn't take them long to show up where we were

When I came out of the bathroom dressed in comfortable clothes I tied up my hair in a way knowing that it would not fall apart. 

It was surprising that I didn't have my skin mixed up because of how long I had been in the showers. I looked at the bed sighing thinking that Will and Hannibal were gone. 

What surprised me, however, was that they were still asleep but this time instead of snuggled into me they were snuggled into each other. Will's face was preserved in Hanbibal's neck while Hannibal's face was in Will's hair. 

I took my phone to take a picture. I left the room and was about to check if Hadrian was asleep but I remembered he wasn't. So cumine him przyjećei on the occasion of catching the Killer. 

He told me that he got a call from Stella that they needed his help. He reluctantly returned home but said that one phone call and he was back. I headed quietly to the kitchen to make food for the four of us and the animals. 

Yes Abigail slept at my place tonight because Hannibal and Will didn't want her alone in the house. I looked around the cabinets, pantry and refrigerator pulling out what I needed. 

I sighed knowing that I would have to go shopping today as well as look for a return trip home. However, I plan to spend maybe another two weeks with Will. 

As long as I don't get some important phone call I can stay here. I made food for Pandora, Hades and Ikar first. 

When I put their food they immediately took to eating while I washed everything. When everything was ready to use again, I washed my hands and got down to cooking.

'' Good morning sleepyheads '' I said hearing their footsteps 

'' Good morning Ara '' said Hannibal 

'' Hi Ara '' replied Will walking up before kissing me on the cheek with Hannibal following in his footsteps 

'' Do you need help? '' asked Will 

'' Just take what's prepared to the dining room '' I replied with a smile 

'' You're the boss '' replied Hannibal surprising me a little but I shouldn't have been surprised because he had become more relaxed over the past weeks with us

'' It smells and looks great '' said Abigail 

'' It tastes even better '' I replied 

'' Enjoy your meal '' we said before we took to eating 

'' What are your plans for today ? '' asked Hannibal 

'' Jack tells me to look at a new case '' said Will 

'' I shopping and I also have to check mine block. I will  work on a new book maybe '' I replied 

'' Will you need to honestly put boundaries with him. It's not healthy for you to work like this '' I added worried 

'' I know but he doesn't listen '' he replied 

'' You know we can help you with this. Just let us know '' I said seriously 

'' Hannibal can help you  to a certain point '' I added more gently 

'' What should I do? '' he asked lightly placing the fork on the table 

'' Take a few days off and think about whether you want to continue dragging your life like this. I know that you have a weeks paid days off that last year that you can use. You know that for us to move you and your pack will not be difficult '' I replied 

'' She is right Will. Jack will bring you to a complete breakdown. He is destroying all the progres we have made by his demands and rulings '' said Hannibal reminding us that we are not alone 

'' Where are we going? '' asked Abigail 

'' I have big houses in London, Paris, Venice, Rome, Athens, Florence, Portugal, New York, Rio, Warsaw, the outskirts of Oslo, Hawaii. If I remember correctly I still have a house each in New Zealand, Holland, Sweden, Denmark and the Czech Republic '' I replied 

'' Most I rent as vacation homes '' I said to their surprised faces 

'' What languages do you speak? '' asked Abigail 

'' Polish, English, Ladies, Italian, Spanish, French and some Danish, Norwegian, Swedish '' I replied 

'' Wow '' said Abigail

'' I have three weeks of paid time off from Saturday meaning I only have to come today and Friday. Jack will not be informed because he is not my boss. Agent Marshal wrote me that they would pay me back for the overtime and extra work I did through Crawfort because I should only teach. They were waiting for me to address my rationale to them '' said Will reading from his phone before getting the message again 

'' Speaking off it he himself is not surprised if I would have been quit on my own '' he added 

'' Florence? '' suggested Hannibal 

'' Florence '' we confirmed 

'' I'll take care of flight '' said Hannibal 

'' I'll find care for the dogs '' said Abigail 

'' I'll take care of our place of residence. I will inform the team I am hiring there to clean the house as well as do the shopping for our arrival '' I said pulling out my phone 

'' Maybe it's time for me to find a new home for my dogs if we travel. But I know I'll never be able to get rid of Winston and Bella '' Will suddenly said

'' Do what you think is best Will '' I said softly

'' Traveling with four dogs and one cat will be interesting '' Abigail said

'' True, but we'll manage '' Hannibal replied

'' To a new beginning '' I said raising my cup 

'' To a new beginning '' they said making a toast with me.
