Down For Your Love
Summary
The Min family find out about the these two soulmates reuniting and the cause behind it all.

It had been less than twenty-four hours that Regulus Black had shown up in the living room of Grimmauld Place. Taehee had done every diagnostic spell along with countless others to make sure that it really was his soulmate. Hell, he had even used certain family spells that his sisters had made. Every single one indicated that it truly was Regulus Black in his living room. Besides, it wasn’t like Taehee had forgotten what Reggie’s magical signature was. He just didn’t trust himself, because all he knew was that this was a dream and that hope of Reggie being alive would be ripped from him again.

The youngest Min had thought that his soulmate was alive countless times when he was younger. He eventually got numb to the pain of him being dead, but a thought lingered in his head at the possibility. That faded to his subconscious as he got older and had more things to deal with. However, everything was settling in. His soulmate was alive and Dumbledore was the one behind almost everything that happened to him.

Taehee watched as Kreacher served Reggie some tea and some soup so as to not upset his stomach. While Kreacher was doing so, Tae ran some basic health diagnostic charms that Seongho had taught him. He was pleased to see that Regulus was doing well, all things considered. He did note that it would be a little while before he could eat solid food without upsetting his stomach.

“So how are the infamous Mins doing?” Regulus asked, setting down his cup of tea on the side table. “Well, Jaesun is sharing Lord duties with Father, Seongho is one of the best pediatric healers in Britain. Chaeyoung is a potions master like Papa. Aeri is an Unspeakable. I’m a barrister. I’ve been one since I was seventeen. It took me a while to reach this level of prestige, though.” Taehee replied with a faint blush on his face.

It didn’t take him long to realize that he would have to inform his family of this recent development. He was surprised that they hadn’t known already. “Like you would ever settle for less Tae. You may have been a Ravenclaw, but your family was full of Slytherins, save Seongho.” Regulus said with a fond look on his face.

“Oh, there’s been a bit of a development. You’re currently Lord Black as Sirius died about a year ago, but he left me your ancestral house. Oh! And Harry Potter-Black is your nephew.” He rambled, as he thought of what else to tell Reggie about. There was so much the two had to catch up on and there was as little time as possible. He also had to write a letter to his parents about this, but first he would have to talk to Jaesun.

“That’s a lot to take in, darling. I’m sure you have things to do, so I’ll see how much this house has changed.” Regulus murmured as he had Kreacher give him a tour. It wasn’t as Reggie needed one, but more so time to give Taehee some privacy.

The Min child headed to the Lord’s study to give his eldest brother a call on their two-way mirrors. It was the very same one they had used ever since he was old enough to miss Jaesun. He held the mirror up and spoke the incantation to awake it.

“I would say this is a surprise, but it’s not really one. However, it has been -” Jaesun started as he picked up the mirror, but stopped when he saw his youngest brother’s face. Taehee had looked even paler than his normal complexion. “What’s going on Tae? Do I need to come over? You know I will.” He asked, concerned and worried. “So apparently Regulus is alive and Dumbles had something to do with it. I need you to do a favor for me and make sure that everyone is at Min Manor for dinner tonight. I figured it would be best to break the news then.” Taehee asked with a heavy sigh. Jaesun nodded his head. “That’s fine. I better get the full details then.” He said before closing the line. Taehee sighed heavily in relief at that. He could always count on his brother for things like this. He then pulled out his quill and grabbed the nearest, empty piece of parchment and began to write.

      Dear Father and Papa,

I have some exciting and shocking news to deliver. Regulus Black is alive. He appeared in my living room in Grimmauld Place last night and it’s just now settling in. Kreacher was the one to find him after all these years. Also, Dumbeldore had something to do with it. I’ll tell the whole family about it over dinner tonight. Jaesun already knows as I used the mirrors. I would appreciate it, if you would let the elves know about everyone coming. Also, don’t worry about rounding everyone up. Jaesun is doing that as a favor for me. This is just as much of a shock for me as it is for you. I still expect it to be all a dream or a cruel joke. Fate has not been kind to this family, but I will take whatever peace I can get from this. I have been dreaming about this for years.I know you both will tell me to be careful as this risk is even more heartbreak, but I can’t diminish what could now be a reality. I’ll break the news to Reggie about dinner tonight. I promise I will explain everything later.

     Your Son,

         Taehee Min.

P.S. I already told him about Harry and Sirius dying, but not about the other news.

He rolled the letter and sealed it with the Min family wax seal and gave it to his owl, Talia, to take to his family home. When he arrived back in the living room, he was surprised to see Regulus in better clothes and clean-shaven. A faint blush crossed his cheeks as he took in what would hopefully be his husband. It was like he was a teenager all over again with butterflies in his stomach at the prospect of a first date.

“I had Kreacher find me some proper clothes to dress in along with cleaning up. I assume we are going to see your family sometime today.” Regulus guessed with one, slender eyebrow raised. Taehee pouted at that. “You’ve always been able to read me like a book.” He murmured, crossing his arms over his chest like a toddler. “It’s because I know you the best Tae. Always have and always will.” Reggie said with a chuckle and a true grin. “Now let’s catch up before we visit your family later.” Taehee nodded and sat down next to his beloved. He thanked Kreacher as the elf brought a pot of tea and another cup for him. The two had much to discuss and catch up on in the two or so decades that had passed them.
