1) How the pranks work:

3) The marauder all call Minerva ‘mum’.
4) Potter is McGonagall favourite.
5) The girls dorm is more noisy than the boys.
6) McGonagall had never actually for students out of bed before. However, she did once see a dog, rat and stag surrounding a very tired looking Remus lupin.
7) Inspired by ‘can’t take my eyes off you’ by Frankie Valli – the boys dorm, 1977, this song playing, Marlene and Dorcas dancing like a normal couple, James lip sinching the words to annoy lily, Sirius and Remus (both extremely drunk) standing on beds in opposite sides of the room screaming the chorus to each other.
8) For the end of year prank in 6th year, the marauders did absolutely nothing.
9) Minivera knew that they were Animagus and didn’t give a shit.
10) The 8 of them (Remus, Sirius, James, Peter, Lily, Dorcas, Mary and Marlene) went on a 3 week camping trip in the summer of ’77. This was when Remus told the girls he was a werewolf.
11) James and Marlene were obsessed with star wars.
12) The marauders would guess what house the hat was going to put first years, cheering when they were right and booing when they were wrong,
13) The marauders had the same train compartment every year and even carved their initials onto the window.
14) Triple dates with wolfstar, dorlene and jily.
15) 8th September 1979 – lily and James wedding.
16) 15th January 1980 – Dorcas and Marlenes wedding in Effie’s back garden.
17) Dorlenes record collect was almost as big as wolstars.
18) Sleakeazy (the hair product James’ dad made) was specialized for POCs’ hair.
19) The backstory of Effie potter (born 1897) - born into a large family, Euphemia came from a wizarding family. Going to school, she was always seen as a ‘rebel’, advocating for rights for all, often evading consequences for her action through her ability not to get caught. Despite being unpopular among the teachers, she was loved by all the students due to her amazing personality and acceptance for all. She managed to get into politics after school, being the pride and joy of her parents. She started to get to know monty after school, in 1925, and they courted for 10 years before they married. After a few years of trying, they accepted that they couldn’t have children, so having James in 1960 came as such a happiness they couldn’t believe it. she was the one who taught her son how to ride a broom. Effie made such a difference in the wizarding world due to the many acts she put forward that changed it for the better before eventually retiring in 1971. she and monty loved Sirius and the rest of James’ friends, and each one had their own room at the potter. She looked after them beautiful and was a strong and trustworthy parental figure in all their lives, especially Sirius, who she unofficially adopted in 1976. sadly, in 1978 she got dragonpox, along with monty and they died within hours of each other.
20) The backstory of fleamont potter (born 1894) - monty was always shown to be a very powerful wizard, he would do things only those with strong magical power could do at such a young age just for a laugh. He went to Hogwarts, where he developed his magic so much thar when he left he was wanted by every magical co-operation in Britain. He worked as a shop assistant in diagon alley until 1914, which was when he signed up for the war. He fought until 1916, having to be sent home as his leg needed to amputated thanks to a shell explosion. He never returned to France. In 1920, he set up his own hair potion business, sleekeazys, which became a smash hit, and he became mega rich by 1927. in 1925, he first laid eyes on effie, and fell madly in love, flirting with her immediately. However, it would take 10 years before she accepted his idea of marriage, and they became a very happy couple. The surprise of James was both a joy and worry for monty, who was worried about his wife having a child at such a late age, but she insisted so they had their son, who fleamont loved with everything he would give, playing with him often. He was also a parental figure to James’ friends, and died of dragonpox age 83. leaving all his wealth to his son.
21) The backstory of Poppy promfrey (born 1936) - growing up in London during ww2, poppy learned how to heal those injured from a very young age, and this was when her magic first started to show itself. Staring Hogwarts in the aftermath, she had a certain knack for helping and treating the others. Most of the teachers thought she would go on to become a healer, but after her training, she came back to Hogwarts at dumbledores request, and healed every sick student that came through her doors, despite the oddness of most injuries. She was easily Remus’ favourite teacher, and was always there for him, no matter what.
22) Karaoke in the Gryffindor common room.
23) All eight had their own room at the potters London residence.
24) Daisy Hopkins, Emmeline Vance, Alice Forscue and Hestia jones were 2 years older than the marauder girls and the two groups formed a really close friendship.
25) Remus had a strong Welsh accent, peter a strong cockney one, Mary a Cornish one, Dorcas a Pompey one. lily a working class northern one. both Sirius and James had posh London accent so for the first six months could only really understand Marlene (who came from a small conservative village*) and Dorcas to an extent.
26) Once visited Wales to see Remus and made it an entire holiday.
27) James, Sirius and Marlene were unstoppable.
28) For Harrys first Christmas, all the marauders brought him stuffed toys of their animals.
29) Each marauder had a favourite teddy that they couldn’t live without: James – a grey koala, which you can wrap around your arm so it looks like its holding onto you. Sirius – a tabby cat, of which he brought a matching one for Minerva in year 5. Remus – a stiff wolf, which comforted him in knowing he wasn’t alone in his experience – wolfy knew what it was like. Peter- a classic, falling apart teddy bear that was his grandmother and mothers. Marlene – a purple octopus with only seven tentacles thanks to a fight with tommy she had when she was 4. Mary – a red squid called Penelope (small Mary had just become aware of the name and thought it the funniest thing ever) made of tough fabric. Lily – snow white, with an eye missing, but great for cuddles. Dorcas – a pig with a butterfly on its nose, but the butterfly has had to be re-sewn on 6 times.
30) The marauders spent much of their time in the hospital wing, so even though Remus was her favourite, poppy came to love the boys a lot, too. She admired their strength of friendship, loyalty and love for one another.
*Alternatively, Marlene was Irish, so James and Sirius couldn’t understand her either.
