Chapter 16).
Yes, we all made it to the prison. It had been an eventful journey, but we got there.
It has been peaceful for a few days. Yes, walkers tried to get into the prison. I feel safe with Dad, my husband, and children close by. Also, I have seen Dad and Snape sneaking off to kiss like they don't think I already found out. I am happy that Remus is fealing better, And that he is being happier being called Papa Moony.
To tell you the truth, I am glad that my Baby has Remus, and he knows that Rick and I are the main-parents to Teddy.
But when Teddy started calling Remus Papa, it swelled Mooney's heart.
"Hey Moony," I say. He looks at me and gives me a small smile. "Hey Harriet, you ok?" Remus asks me. Sending my own smile to him.
"Yeah, I ok thank you just going to sort out my boys for bedtime. I know that you are probably getting fed up with me asking but are you ok with Teddy, calling you Papa," I asked.
Remus took my hands into his. "Yes, I am very happy you are like a daughter to me and having Teddy call me Papa, makes me very happy," Remus replies.
"So does that mean I now have 3 Dads? Sirius is Daddy, Sev, is Pops and you will be a Dad," I said while walking over to Rick smiling.
MEANWHILE, WITH REMUS:
Cheeky little brat can't believe Harriet thinks of me as one of her father figures. I wait as Sirius comes over to me. "Pads, you have a very cheeky daughter. 3 Dads she says, without even asking you about it," I say to Sirius.
"Well, that's my Harriet for you. I may be her Daddy, but she made you "her" dad. I'm still shocked that she made Severus one of her dad's too," Sirius replied.
"I'm so glad that I found you all I really am," I say to him.
"Come on Moony let's go and have some food," Sirius says.
I nodded and walked over and sat and ate quietly.
WITH SIRIUS:
I can tell that, for once, Moony is happy even if his son doesn't call him Dad. I can tell that it makes him happy, when I call him Papa. It was just like when Harriet first called me Daddy. It made my heart swell. Still, to this day, it does every time she calls me Daddy. She will always be my baby girl, no matter how old she may be.
BACK WITH HARRIET:
After the kids went to bed, Rick and I cuddled on our bed. My whole body ached. All I wanted to was just close my eyes and sleep. That is what I was going to do. So here I was in Rick's arms, feeling so much love.
But before I sleep, I knew I needed to talk to Rick about Lori and Shane. I knew that he hated them both. But, with everything going on, I think we needed to talk to Carl.
"Rick, I know you don't want to talk about Lori or Shane but I think that we need to let Carl know that they really ain't coming back," I said to Rick.
"I know that we do my love but I need to protect my family. But yes we will talk to him tomorrow," Rick replies.
Afterwards, I fell into an unrestful sleep.
I was woken the next morning by screaming and shouting. I jumped out of bed and ran outside. "What is all the dam shouting and screaming for?" I said to them all. The only thing I can see is Carl crying and running to me. Falling into my arms, sobbing, I wrapped my arms around him. I could see that look on both Fred and George's faces. Something was wrong.
I try to soothe him as best as I can while I look over at Daddy. "What is going on?" I said to Sirius. Daddy didn't even get a chance to explain because Carl speakes first me. "Shane and my other Mum are dead. They may not have cared about me, but she was my Mum for a while. Please don't leave me Mummy please," Carl sobs.
My heart broke into pieces. Carl is my son, and hearing him cry like this is breaking my hear. "Listen to my sweetheart, you will always have me and your Daddy and your Baby brother ok," I sweetly say to Carl. I turn to Pop and say: "Pops, can you take him to his room and give him a sleeping drought please."
Once I knew Carl was out of earshot, I looked over at Rick. I could tell that what Carl had said was the truth. "Harriet, sweetheart, Carl was by the gate. He says that he was just looking when he saw Lori and Shane, they were walkers," Sirius tells me. It felt like a cry that my Baby saw them like that. "Where are they now?" I asked while I looked at Rick.
The way Rick looks at me tells me that Lori and Shane are still outside the fence. "We need to deal with this and fast I don't want my sons or anyone seeing them," I said to Sirius and Rick. They both nod their head to me and goes to the fence. I walk back to the babies, pull them into my arms, and cry. I may not have liked them, but they were still humans.
I was woken up by someone shaking me. I must have fallen asleep. I open my eyes to see Daddy standing there. "Hey, Daddy, is all ok?" I asked.
"Yes love all is ok. I just wanted to make sure you were ok?" Sirius asks me while combing his hand through my hair.
"I'm ok Daddy, I'm just worried about Carl. Lori was his Mum for 11 years of his life," I said to Sirius, and gave him a sad, small smile.
Daddy tells me to go back to sleep for a bit longer. That is just what I did. It was like I really needed it.
MEANWHILE, WITH RICK:
Seeing Carl like that hurt me. I never wanted to wrap him in my arms. But I saw him run to his Mum and wrap sobs his heart out. I watched as Severus took Carl to his room. I could tell that Harriet was upset seeing one of their children crying.
"We need to deal with this and fast I don't want my sons or anyone seeing them," Harriet says to Sirius and me. I knew that she was right. So it was what we did. I watched Harriet go back into the prison.
"Come on Rick let's get this done so we can make sure our family is safe and ok," Sirius says. He was right. Of course he was. I just needed to be with my family. Daryl looks at me, and I give him the go-ahead to open the front gate. "No guns ever you want any more of them walkers coming," Sirius says. "I agree with you Sirius. Let's do this," I said to Sirius.
Shane was easy to kill but still a struggle. After we did it, Lori turned to us. All I could she was that she was pregnant when she became a walker. We realized that we would ot only have to kill Lori but the unborn baby inside of her. It was one thing that neither of us wanted to do, but we had to.
Sirius puts his hand on my shoulder to try and stop me from going all Rambo. "Rick it's done let's go to our family," Sirius says. I dropped the sword and walked back to the prison.
"Go clean up and I will make sure Harriet and my grandbabies are ok," Sirius says. I did as Sirius saysd,and went to clean myself. I'm not sad because Lori was a walker. I was sad, because Carl saw that.
I saw Merle walking over to me. "It will be ok Rick, Carl is a very brave boy. You also have my niece by your side. All 3 of them need you, Rick," Merle says.
"I know Carl is Merle, I'm glad I found Harriet. I have 2 kids and a wife and her very large family," I said back to Merle. He leaves so I can start to clean myself.
Once I had cleaned up, I went into the room where Carl and Teddy slept. Harriet was with them. All 3 of them were sleeping. I slowly walked over, got on the other side, and wrapped them around me.
WITH FRED:
I had a good day then my nephew Carl had to see his past mother. I knew it hurt to see that, but I also knew that Harry would help him.
"George, we may be safe for now but I am worried about what Ron and Ginny as well as our not so the mother will do," I frankly said to my twin George. "I know Fred, I think Har, is still on guard all the time. So please Fred, let's wait for things to settle then we will go to Har, ok," George says back to me.
I knew that he was right I was just on edge. I think we all are. Dad left with Bill, Charlie and Glen early this morning to look for supplies. They will be back soon. Maybe George is right, and we are safe hear.
What they didn't know was that trouble was coming.
THIRD PERSON:
Watching that bitch Harriet and her good-for-nothing family. I will get what I want, and when I do. I will kill them all. Even my so-called brothers. They think that they can kill Dumbledore, my dad. I don't think so. Plus, with the Governor on my side, we won't lose.
