'Oh god, I made a mistake' Remus laid in Avery's bed regretting his choice. Why he agreed to swap places with him, he hadn't the slightest idea. Yet here he was, sleeping in the other boy's bed and in charge of watching his friends.
The day started off like it normally did. Remus went to the main hall with his friends for breakfast and afterwards he went to the library to study a bit, even tho it was Saturday.
He sat down at his usual table and he was unaware that it was being occupied by someone.
"Lupin?"
Remus turned his attention to the owner of the voice and stared in shock. "Avery...um sorry I'll go" He said and stood up.
Avery chuckled "You could stay, I don't mind"
"Oh, alright" Remus sat back down and pulled out his book "So where are your friends?" He asked out of curiosity.
"Mulciber has detention, Slytherins have quidditch practice today so Rosier is there, and Severus always sleeps in on Saturday. He doesn't wake till the afternoon." Avery said as he shrugged
Remus nodded in response "What about yours?"
"They went to hogsmeade"
"Must be nice"
"Yeah it is, they're a handful"
Avery snickered and Remus stared at him in confusion. He didn't say anything funny so why was Avery laughing. "I bet they are, but I also bet they aren't as difficult to deal with then my friends" Avery said while smiling.
Remus raised an eyebrow, still confused, and tilted his head "How so?"
"Just take my word for"
He thought for a moment and as far as he was concerned Avery's friends didn't seem that bad......well all except for Snape. He was sure his own friends were more of a pain then Avery's.
"Well I don't think that's true" He stated. Avery smirked and draped an arm around Remus's shoulders "Is that so?" Remus nodded in response.
Avery's smirk grew "Well then how about this, why don't you and I switch places"
"I'm sorry- what?"
"We switch places" Remus stared at him as if he was crazy. Avery didn't care and just smiled "I hang out with your friends and you hang out with mine. Not only that but we also switch houses." He stated
"You'll stay in the Slytherin commons and I'll stay in the Gryffindor commons" He added.
Remus thought about this for a minute. 'I could finally get a break from my friends.' He thought and then smiled. "For how long?" He asked.
"A week"
'Hmm a week without James, Sirius, and Peter....not bad' He thought.
"Deal?" Avery held out his hand to him.
Remus smile grew and he shock Avery's hand "Deal"

"Right that's how...." Remus said to himself. That's how he found himself sleeping in the Slytherin's bedroom. "Man I hope this was a good idea" He mumble and closed his eyes and allowed sleep to take over.
