Gracie, Hannah, and Susan
Gracie walked into her new room nervously. Her two roommates were already there, and looked up, when she walked in.
Gracie walked over to where they were sitting on one of their beds.
"Hi, my name is Gracie, She/Her. What about you?"
The blonde kid spoke up first saying "Hi, I'm Susan! This is my best friend Hannah. I use She/Her pronouns. Han?" she finished off her sentence looking at the redhead.
"My pronouns change." The other said quietly.
"Oh, are you genderfluid?"
"Um, yeah. I think so. I read this book that Aunt Amelia (A/N This is still Hannah talking, she just calls Amelia her aunt, because she is so close to Susan and Amelia. Also, do you think I should keep her name Hannah or change it? I kind of like it, but also it's my dead name, so it feels kind of odd to say lol. If you think I should change it, can you give optional names? I kind of like Adrian, but I'm not sure. Thanks!) bought me. And it sounds right. But, I just really realized, this summer. So, I'm not entirely sure."
"That's okay! You don't have to know yet."
"You're trans right?" Susan said.
"Um, yeah."
"Okay, just wanted to confirm. Y'know in case I need to beat anyone up in your honor or anything." Susan finished making Gracie giggle.
"She's not joking." Hannah began "She broke someones nose a couple weeks ago, because they yelled at me for wearing a They/Them pronoun pin.".
"First of all, awesome. Secondly, that sound like my sister. And finally, you have pronoun pins."
"Yeah, but I never really wear them because of that person."
"You should! It's not fair for you to have to pretend to be something you're not for other people."
"But, what if no one likes me?"
"You have me and Susan. And I bet my sister and her friends to. And they're just the people I know! I'm sure there's other to!"
"Well, maybe. I'll think about it."
"Great!"
Introductions done, the other two showed Gracie around the room and helped her unpack. Once they were done the three 11 year old went to bed, happy.
