You were hunched over the coffee table that sat in the Gryffindor common room writing notes with one hand and taking in every word of the ‘Achievements in Charming’ book. Your hand hurt from taking countless notes hoping you didn’t manage to skip over something important, your eyes burned from reading the small text in the book. This was only the 3rd book out of what seemed like thousands you had to read to pass this exam. You had been studying for hours in the common room, papers strewn across the table and the floor. You couldn’t help but stress about this exam, it basically was your future after Hogwarts, so you tried your hardest to stay awake and study as long as you could. You laid your head on the table inside your book just to rest your eyes since they were burning, you heard the large doors to the common room open and the sound of two familiar voices walking in. You didn’t have the energy to lift your head to look at the two walking into the room, you knew it was the twins but didn’t want to look up to greet them.
“Shh, Fred, look,” George nudged his brother to get his attention. Fred looked in the direction his brother was looking to see you mostly asleep in your work, “Let's spook em.” Fred suggested with a sly smile. The twins slowly walk over to you not knowing who it was, Fred realized it was you so he gave his brother a look to not scare you. George knelt down by you and put his hand on your back, “Hey, y/n, you alright?” Fred knelt down on the other side of you and put his hand on your leg. You slowly looked up at George barely awake but put your head back down into your book falling back asleep.
“Y/n, wake up, you can’t sleep in the common room.” Fred put his hand on your shoulder and shook you lightly, you looked up at Fred and woke up enough to answer him, “Oh, guys, I'm trying to study”.
“Looks like your sleeping mate, not studying.” George neatened up your papers and your books.
“George, leave my papers alone,” you try to swat at his hand but completely miss.
“ Nope we're bringing you back to your dorm, you need to sleep.” Fred grabbed your arm and put his other arm around your back. You got up with him not wanting to fight him, and you knew you needed to sleep. George grabbed your books and papers and carried them for you while Fred and him walked you back to your dorm.
When you got back to your dorm Fred helped you into your bed and George put your things on the desk against the wall. George walked over to your bed and put the blankets on you, you laid your head in Fred’s lap and started falling back asleep.
“Y/n, Me and George can’t stay here.” Fred chuckled
“Yes you can.” You said tiredly and reached over to grab George’s arm.
“Fine, we’ll stay here.” George said, sitting on the bed next to you, he put his hand on your shoulder and slowly rubbed up and down. Fred moved onto the bed more and let you lay in his lap covering you up more. You fell asleep in Fred’s lap. When you were asleep George got up and grabbed your books and papers, he tore up small pieces of paper to mark pages that were important and wrote or corrected the notes you were taking. Fred ended up falling asleep in the bed with you still in his lap.
You woke up to Fred playing with your hair and George sitting in the bed looking through one of the books for an upcoming exam.
“Morning sleepy,” Fred said with a smile on his face. “We practically had to drag you here from the common room”.
“You were falling asleep in your book.” George chimed in. You sat up and rubbed your eyes, still confused about why the twins were here. “Merlin's beard, I didn’t finish my notes.”
“Don’t worry, I helped a little. There are pages I marked in your books that are the most important, and I corrected and wrote some more of your notes”. George put down his book and smiled at you. You leaned over and hugged George tightly, “Oh thank you Georgie, I love you”. George blushed at what you said, “I love you too.”
You also hugged Fred tightly, “I love you too Fred don’t worry”. Fred also blushed when you said you loved him.
“We’ll today we don’t have classes so you better come with us to Hogsmeade,” Fred smiled and looked down at you.
“Of course I will, guys. Why wouldn’t I?” You shifted and sat up. Fred and George got up from the bed in unison and you got up after them. You quickly got changed into common clothes and headed out the Hogsmeade with the twins.
