She reread the letter over and over until his distinctive handwriting became ingrained into her mind. The loop on his y and how he writes his H’s. Always H. Never ever Hermione. She knew she would say yes to his request but why does it feel so dirty?
She quickly penned her response.

Quickly folding and closing the letter. No, note. A letter would be considering something with more response. They didn’t send letters. They only sent notes with short questions and short replies.
As she sent the note out she questioned whether she had lost all self respect for herself or had she really became this witch.
She went back to work and decided to put Adrian out of her mind until tonight.
