Chapter 2
He tilts the stars about in his hands. Once you’re close enough that the light goes away, the middle shows people, and places.
The green one shows people walking around in shifting halls, in flowy clothing. Some of them wave about sticks, clearly using some form of magic.
Two red heads run by quickly, seeming to run away from someone else, laughing. Watching closer, he watches as a man runs after them, with a fish stuck on his head. He runs clumsily and bumps into walls and people.
A light yellow one shows a group of people shifting through some soft of fighting forms, water moving with them as they move.
They’re dressed in light and deep blues, with furs and jewelry. He watches closely as one of them throws water up, and suddenly it freezes.
A deep red one shows what seems to be a mostly empty room, with a beautiful window view of a city. Every once and awhile he watches someone walk past, occasionally normal and occasionally everything but.
He decides to move onto the next one when some sort of robot walks down the hall and dips into one of the rooms.
A deep blue star shows what looks to be the interior of some sort of vehicle. It’s armored, and occasionally he sees a man walk by in weird armor of his own.
At one point he sits down in a chair and taps at something on his wrist, before the lights flicker and he stands back up quickly, rushing to a doorway.
He looks over the group of stars before singling out a purple one. There’s tons of stars, but the colors are repetitive. He’ll look at the others of the other colors later, now he just wants to glance at one of each.
Grabbing the purple one in his hands, he peers in to see a cave, with technology and random items scattered about. There’s a large screen in the middle, and other items sitting on branching off platforms.
Reminds him of a Haunt, if he squints his eyes real hard. Something moves by quickly, practically a shadow. In it’s wake there’s 2 other, smaller and more colorfully dressed.
Suddenly out of the shadows comes a few more, also differently dressed. They all seem to exchange a few words before moving away in a hurry.
