Him,
With his elegant black hair
Skin so pale and fair
Always smelling of cologne and leather
Breaking every rule
The black sheep
To them never enough but to others everything
Him,
With his rosy cheeks and perfect eyes
His love of sweets
Always smelling of sugar and hot coco
And his blinding smile
A wonder to behold when the moon is full
Scarred but still so beautiful
Them,
With their short longing glances
And secret romances
Never noticing the pining they both feel
The need to shout it from the rooftops
But instead bottling it up inside your head
Finding the beauty in one another that no one else can
Oh how magical they’d be
If they could only see
Us,
With his elegance
And his brain
The constant need to be seen by the other
The way he makes my heart flutter
But, never quite feeling good enough for him
Sitting alone watching him go
Transported when the record plays
At least we still have those days
