epilogue
Harry had always taken care of himself.
His younger siblings were more important in his parents eyes. They paid attention to them more. Gave them love and affection. He, however, did not feel their love. Not at all.
It was always like this, to the point that it didnt even bother Harry anymore. And as the days melted into months that turned into years, he soon grew out of his need for parental love. Instead he focused on school work, on getting the best grades he could.
He needed to get a job someday after all. And he wasnt a ravenclaw for nothing.
Harry wasnt jealous of his younger siblings Morgan and Rose, in all honesty, he didnt feel anything for them. Be it love or dislike.
They were…clingy though. Were their parents not paying attention to them that much? Nevertheless, he thought nothing of it.
Yule was one of the few holidays he tolerated, along with Samhain, Lithas, Ostara and Lammas. He never really had a problem with rituals, although his family did. They percieved the holidays, sans Yule Tide, and their accomodating rituals to be of dark origin, dark magic and the like. Harry preffered to spend the other holidays with his friends—Slytherins, Ravenclaws, Hufflepuffs and very few Gryffindors.
It had always been this way, like a schedule noone deviated from.
He just didnt think it would ever change.
