"Beatrice?"
Harry hums as he presses soft kisses over Draco's stomach, "Mm, no."
The warm light cascades into the room through the cracks in the blinds and falls over the tan skin.
Draco cards his fingers through the black curls, the softest smile on his face while his heart flutters in his chest, "Katherine?"
Harry scrunches his nose, "Katherine is a character in the Vampire Diaries so no."
"But Katherine is a fantastic character."
He traces small circles over his stomach with his thumb, "Sure but our daughter's name can't be Katherine."
"Oh, fine but I, for one-"
He pauses mid-sentence, his eyes wide, one hand over his stomach while his mouth parts in a small 'o', "Harry."
Harry lifts his head up at him, his eyes lighting up like a thousand fireflies, his mouth curving into the widest smile, "Draco."
Her first kick.
Harry caresses his stomach with his thumbs while tears start to form on the corner of his eyes, "Hey, little one."
Draco interlaces their fingers together.
No stars in the sky shine as bright as Harry does right now.
Because no skies hold star that shine brighter than his eyes, that light up the sky more than his smile lights up places.
It's because he is the magic.
Harry traces his thumb across his knuckles, "I love you, I love her," He wipes off another tear, a breath caught in his throat, "So much."
He has said it countless times but it never fails to cause Draco's heart to stutter in his chest. To send warmth running through him.
"Our family, it's so beautiful. You, me and our baby girl. I've dreamt of that so much. Of a small family. But somehow, it's more perfect than I thought it would be."
Harry caresses Draco's stomach with his thumb, "It's much more than what that traitorous heart of mine dreamt of. Only because it's with you. It's with you."
Draco reaches out, a tremble to his fingers as he runs his fingers across Harry's cheek and wipes away the droplets of tears, "Harry."
He had spent years without that word, that name on his tongue. It's safe to say that Harry has rendered him speechless.
"Yes, yes it's perfect." Draco breathes, his eyes half-closed, a knot in his throat, "It's only perfect because it's with you, trouble."
Harry kisses his wrist, his voice a whisper as he says, "Oh, she will be such a menace, no?"
Draco scrunches his nose, "If she turns out to be more of her Dad than her father, yes."
It elicits a soft laugh out of him.
Harry brushes a strand of blond hair out of Draco's face, "But, Draco?"
"Yes?"
"I'm sure she'll be the best of both of us."
Draco's mouth curves into his fondest smile.
"Yeah, yeah I'm sure she will be."
