“Welcome to the Hog’s Head!” Monty screamed into the microphone. “And to the Saturday night show of the Pitchfork Kids!”

The crowd practically yelled to the beginning of the show. Every weekend, more and more students wanted to watch them play. There were so many people that there would not be enough space at the pub. So, lots of students would be outside watching through the open windows. That night, Aberforth had invited his friends to the show. Some boys from his days at school and many, many girls. Women. Former lovers, Walburga assured her. She could hear them judging her: “But why would he be with that girl, huh? Having so many women that would love him right.” Woman. She could listen to them whispering that word on and on.

But she was not a kid. She was a woman too.

“For our new comers tonight” Bella announced staring at the women shaking their tails around her man, “here’s a new song for you!”

Monty made the strings of his guitar sound, while the crowd remained in silence trying to catch the new melancholic tune of the song.

My baby lives in shades of blue/ Blue eyes and jazz and attitude” she started to sing with her brown eyes darting daggers at them. “... And when he calls, he calls for me and not for you/ He lives for love, he loves his drugs, he loves his baby, too.

Everyone seemed to know who this song was about, as she sang to him walking through the crowd and dancing with her friends.

'Cause you live in shades of cool/ Your heart is unbreakable...

The message was received, as the girls seemed to be uncomfortable now. But Bella didn’t give a fuck about that. She felt so satisfied with the cheers of the crowd. Soon enough, the show ended and the students started to go back to the castle.

“Bella!” Aberforth called her from the table, where he was sitting with his friends.

She left Druella’s side, as she was actually kissing Abraxas on the mouth, and went to sit down with her lover. He pulled her into his arms making her land on his lap. She didn't complain at all.

“Everyone this is Belladonna Rizzo. Remember her name because you’ll soon hear about her on The Daily Prophet.”

“Is that so?” one of the girls bat her eyelashes. “And why is that?”

Although she would normally answer to that comment, she didn’t want to do it. She knew that assuring to this people that she would be the next Minister of Magic would only make them laugh. After all, they were only trying to humiliate her. She could bet that they were thinking she was just some silly girl Aberforth was fucking casually. So, Ofelia would make sure to leave an impression on them.

“I’m going to say goodbye to the boys” she ignored the previous question and stared directly into Forth’s eyes. “I’ll wait in bed.” She stood up and gave him a little peck. “Don’t drink too much.”

As promised, when Aberforth entered the bedroom, Ofelia was reading in bed with a floating candle besides her, illuminating the whole room. Though he didn’t know if it was the candle or her that shined so bright to illuminate the whole place.

“Did you have fun?” she asked him leaving the book aside.

“Yes, I did” he took off his clothes to sleep on his underwear. “I didn’t know you were the jealous kind” he marked with a smile in his face, as he lay down next to her.

“Who said I was jealous?”

“You in the way you treated my female friends.”

“What female friends?” she asked pretending to be oblivious. “Oh! The trolls with the pointy stingers, you mean?”

Aberforth couldn’t help by laughing. “Yes.”

“I can’t stand people trying to run me over. You know that.”

“Yes, I know” he kissed her. “I know.”

They blew the candle and went to sleep.

“Bella” Forth whispered into her ear.

“What?”

“Do you want to go to the movie theatre tomorrow?”

“Is that the place where the muggles watch the moving pictures?”

“Yes. Yes, it is.”

“Then, yes, I would love to go.”

Like, "Oh my, what a marvellous tune"
It was the best night, never would forget how he moved
The whole place was dressed to the nines
And we were dancing, dancing
Like we're made of starlight, starlight

Therefore, that Sunday morning they used the Floo Network to go to muggle London. Ofelia had never strolled around the muggles. She thought they were funny creatures, but in the same way, the wizards were also funny. What seemed marvellous to her were the machines going around London city.

“What do you say they are called?”

“Cars.”

“I want one. Where can I get one?”

“One day you’ll get one.”

“And how do they work?”

Aberforth proceeded to explain the complicated mechanics of a car. But Ofelia kept on interrupting him, as she didn’t understand why would they make such a difficult machinery. They must be miserable without magic, she thought.

“Here we are.”

They arrived at the movie theatre. It was a classy, elegant place and there were movie posters all around the walls. Beautiful drawings of women and men that didn’t move at all. Where were the moving pictures then? She remembered Chuck’s explanation: it’s like watching a story on a big portrait, only it isn’t like the wizard portraits. These ones only tell the story. They can’t listen to you or see you. They just do their thing and then it ends.

“What do you want to watch?” Aberforth asked pointing at a list of three titles.

The Wizard of Oz sounds nice” she chose, curious to see how the muggles pretend to do magic.

“Two tickets, please.”

She loved the movie. It had her on the edge of her seat. Dorothy and her journey and the ruby shoes. She didn’t like how they showed the witch though, she found it a little weird to be honest. And she still didn’t get were all the characters would go after performing the story.

“Did you like it?”

“Yes, very much” she nodded and started to hum the song of the movie.

When they went outside, the sky was grey for a change and the temperature had gone down. Ofelia saw him shiver, as he wasn’t even wearing a coat.

“Here” she handed him her scarf.

“No, it’s cold. You have it.”

“I’m wearing a coat, a sweater and gloves. You could use the scarf more than me.”

Aberforth stared at her for a couple of seconds thinking about something. And then, he smiled like he had just realized an amazing fact.

“Fine” he accepted it and grabbed it. “I never wore something that was from Slytherin” he pointed out admiring the green and silver colour of the scarf.

“Well, Slytherin suits you.”

“No, only one Slytherin suits me” he stopped walking.

“I hope you are talking about me.”

“Who else would I be talking about?” he laughed. “Listen, Bella, I’ve really had a lot of fun with you this past month. It’s been great and-”

“If you want to stop seeing each other, then-”

“No, on the contrary” he smiled. “Belladonna Rizzo, would you like to be my girlfriend?”

She was definitely not expecting that. Merlin, it even looked like he wasn’t expecting this either.

“Yes.”

But what could possibly go wrong between a broken man and a know-it-all girl?

Right? Between a man and a girl...
