Beginning Days of Hogwarts (Part 1)
Ophelia was welcomed to mixed reviews: some gave her the benefit of the doubt (ignored that she's the Dark Lord's kid), some were hesitant but of the "prove yourself" mindset, some were outright hateful from both the Lighter and Darker sides of the aisle.
Head Boy Diggory scolded those people, while the young Scamander ran right off to find her bed--Favi the newborn Dragon right at her chase.
She tuned them out and silently cried herself to sleep, reciting The Little Mermaid to herself.
The Great Hall was full of her favorites.
She had left the copy of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them Daddy gave her a few years ago on her bed.
He can't have that ruined!
She ate with vigour while attempting to strike up conversation with her housemates.
It was very successful!
It was probably for Propriety, but also other wizards like learning about dragons just like she does!
Three of these people would helo her with the Mandragoras next year.
Classes were WILD in the first few weeks.
Ophelia owled her parents in German that night how Hogwarts went.
On the third afternoon after classes, she found time to read in the library. Mostly empty, so she picked one in the back by the Forbidden Section.
Nearby, at a window table, were three students older than her. Two boring white people, one tall one in green and another middle-height in yellow, and a colored hooded person in red. Talking quietly.
She didn't see the yellow one at the tour!
She read her book some, but curiosity won out. She walked over and tried to chat them up, but the littlest huffed and walked away.
His (the hooded one's) seatmates looked at him funny.
Fateena, the little one is called, according to Mr. Black the Slytherin.
She suddenly wanted her as a friend more!
Her seatmates, however, are more than willing to talk about dragons--and the Slytherin helped her with the homework.
