Chapter 0:
Lilly Potter nee Evens cried, snot running out of her nose and heavy hacking sobs that made it difficult to breath. She was crying for the life she wanted to bring into the world but no longer could, because her parents thought she was a monster and had Oophorectomy performed on her just after her first year of Hogwarts. Just after she told them all about the wonderous world she had been shown. They had disguised it as something else entirely, convincing everyone – the doctors, nurse’, and administrators – that Lilly was a budding psychopath and they didn’t want to give her anything to potentially use against a spouse. The Lie had gotten the surgery done with little fan-fair.
And now not even ten years later, Lilly found out the truth; when, out of frustration when all of magical and natural attempts to get pregnant failed she went to a clinic to see if the Non-magical methods worked better. That was when Lilly found out about what her parents had done. Furious she went to confront them…only to find that the Death Eaters had gotten there before her and had already tortured and killed them. She left with out reporting anything and now here she sat, sitting in her living room in a house she owned with her wonderful husband. She had told everyone that she was pregnant and now she had to come up with a way out before anyone noticed she wasn’t showing. She remembered the two of them had been very active before their wedding and it was very conceivable that she could be farther ahead than she had thought… Lilly smiled, tears drying up, she blew her nose, and started to make her plan on how to save face and get a baby without anyone noticing. Thus, writing a note to her husband that told him that there was a Family emergency in the States and she’d be back as soon as possible. She left with a Suit case and a scheme.
Almost eleven Months Later…
Lilly scowled, the brat had finally gone to sleep and now that she was home, she could remove the stupid note she’d left and clean the house of her absence. She had spent an enormous amount of time and effort to gain the child through the Magical Black Market (choosing who to have your child was annoying almost as bad as choosing the father of said child). Only to have the baby come Early and ruined the plan the B.M. Adoption agency had, forcing them to work over time to get the brat and not draw attention. Well, Lilly better have got her money’s worth with how much she had spent to acquire the Brat, because if it was a dud then she’d toss it into an orphanage first chance she had.
But first, she walked the few feet to a heavily-padded rocking chair and lowered her sore body into it. The effects of a spell that mimicked the pain and soreness of childbirth, the ruse wouldn’t be complete without it, (along with a potion that made her body gain some weight) was an annoying but necessary step to keep and maintain her ruse. Thus, as she relaxed, closing her eye’s and spent several seconds seeping in the silence. Then the Front door opened and closed loudly, loud enough to wake a sleeping baby.
The Brat immediately started to screech at the top of its lungs. Lilly sighed in aggravation, and began to get up out of her chair, only a rushed set of steps starting up the stairs and James Potter rounded the corner into the Baby’s Room and tripped to a stop. He stood quickly, grinned at her fat self and strode to the crib, picked the babe up and stood there before cuddling it.
Wonderful everything was happening smoothly. Lilly smiled; everything was going to be just fine.
And no one wondered why her parents thought she was psychopath in the making.
In the States…
A middle-aged man pressed a gauze bandage to his head as people, Military Police, moved around him, taking pictures and statements. An EMT stood next to him pulling a wrapper off a Coban Roll and started to wrap the middle-aged man’s head holding the bandage in place. A young woman, no older than seventeen or eighteen, sat nearby crying, either side of her face was wildly bruised and swollen. The room around them was a mess, it looked like a tornado had swepted through and tossed the place, it continued down a hall and ended in a baby’s room… with no baby insight.
An Amber Alert had been sent out minutes before. And by now the whole of the base, state and even the nation would know that tiny 3-month-old Leonardo Sol Carter was missing.
