Chapter 79
Prompt: I'll get my revenge
Draco should have known better than to accept the blind date offer from his former nemesis turned reluctant friend, Harry Potter.
Harry’s eyes had adopted that cloying glow to them which was Draco’s first hint to his true intention, one he had overlooked because frankly it had been ages since he had been with a woman.
However, in this moment, as he sat at the table watching who could only be his date walk toward him, he had only one thought.
I don’t know how, but I’ll get my revenge on Harry Fucking Potter.
Draco rose as Hermione Granger arrived at her seat and with a small smile, sat across from him. His thoughts raced as he thought back to a drunken night a month ago where he had accidentally made Harry a confidant over his years’ long crush over a certain bushy haired witch.
“Hello, Draco,” she breathed and Draco was forced out of his racing thoughts and to pay attention to the witch before him.
A gently pink flush had colored her cheeks, while her warm amber eyes were fixed resolutely on his own. Draco’s eyes dipped lower as he admired the fitted muggle dress in what could only be described as Slytherin green, and how it hugged her in the most flattering of ways.
As his eyes drifted even lower, he suddenly realized he had been openly gawking her for far longer than was socially acceptable and snapped his eyes back to her own, only to see her own gaze running appreciatively along his body.
Draco tried to squash the hope filling his chest, but when she finally looked at his eyes and he saw the same hunger reflected back at him, he knew he was done for.
Forget revenge, he was buying Harry a fucking island.
