Prompt: I don't share what's mine

He had been ranting for the better part of an hour and Hermione was tired of it.

“Honestly Draco, this jealousy is getting ridiculous. He is always going to be a part of my life and you need to find a way to be OK with this.”

Draco stopped his pacing and stared at her, mouth agape.

“How am I supposed to be OK with him sleeping next to you? It’s too much! I don’t share what’s mine.”

Hermione took a deep breath before responding, “Draco, Crookshanks has been my family for 10 years, can you please make a little more of an effort?”

With a dramatic sigh, Draco cast a sideways glance at the offending feline before dropping his head in defeat. After a beat, Crookshanks sauntered away jumping up into Hermione’s open arms.
