Chapter 38
Theme: Gryffindor Common Room
Optional Prompt: At least the sofa is comfortable
A loud scream tore through the Gryffindor common room causing Harry to wake, ready for a fight. As he entered the common room, his eyes bugged out of his head as he tried to make sense of the scene before him.Laying on the ground was Draco Malfoy, holding his head, as he stared at the entrance to the women’s dormitory confused. The stairs had disappeared into a long slide.
“What are you doing Malfoy?” spat Harry, his wand pointing at the Slytherin.
Draco whipped around and stared at Harry for a long moment, his grey eyes burning and calculating the situation. With a resigned sigh, he dropped his head and murmured, “I just need to see Granger.”
Harry’s anger slowly transformed into bewilderment. “Hermione made it clear to you at dinner. She needs you to fully commit and stop sneaking around with her.”
At a loss, Draco dropped to the sofa, holding his head in his hands. “That’s what I came to tell her! I sent an owl to my father, I told him, but now she won’t even listen to me!”
Harry clapped his back, “I can guarantee you she is not coming down tonight. At least the sofa is comfortable.”
As Harry left, he took one last glance at the blonde who was laid back staring longingly at the girl’s dormitory. It seemed like tomorrow was going to be interesting.
