I am VERY new to this series and fandom so this is gonna be just the very basic idea.

Feel free to include the ship you want or have it platonic friend comfort story. Totally up to you.

Here we go

Here we take the Eddie is Kas theory and mix it up.

Vecna tries to make Eddie and undead puppet, Eddie the new weird vampire esk being panics and his mind does weird shit as self defense against Vecna.

Basically he acts like a feral animal but is running on Eddie's emotions so he's going to be affectionate to the gang/INCREDIBLY protective of them.

Vampire Eddie can be in sunlight just can't use some abilities while in it.
can fly.
Has claws and teeth but the teeth are more like the Vampires in 30 days of night.
Definitely drinks blood but subconsciously only goes for deer and rabbits.
Does have a mind ability that he doesn't realize he is using that makes prey (and friends) become calm and almost woozy/sleepy.

Anyway he gets out of the upside down and is subconsciously searching for the gang. Due to where the gate he came from showed up he finds a very drunk Steve in the middle of an emotional breakdown because honestly they all have been through a LOT.
KasEddie uses power to calm Steve into taking a nap and Basically starts collecting the whole gang...or the ones he knows anyway.

When everyone is out of the weird calm trance thing they realize they've been taken into the upside down by a very feral Eddie who keeps cuddling up to them, chattering like a demo-bat, and who gets very distressed when they all start freaking out.

They try to get him to talk or at the very least to get them back home but Eddie has barricaded the building they're in and regularly patrols to keep the dangerous inhabitants away. They clue in that he isn't on vecna's side when they say the name and Eddie starts puffing up ready for a fight and looking very angry.

They do manage to get back home, with help from El who kinda uses her powers to get through to Eddie? This is also how they find out he is like this as a defense AGAINST Vecna.

While they work on getting Eddie's defense to go down so they could fully get their friend back they also plan on the final battle....and on how to get Eddie's name cleared.

Look this is all I got so have fun? As I said I'm new to this series, literally just started so I'm running on what my friends have told me when thinking of this idea.
