”Happy Valentine’s Day, Draco!” Pansy Parkinson blushed as she gave the pale blonde teenager a chocolate cauldron with sprinkled hearts.Draco Malfoy placed the chocolate gift next to some others that were set on a bench in the courtyard. He had received them from other Slytherin girls and secret admirers. It was a good sized pile that Goyle and Crabbe could sneak some without Draco noticing them gone. “Thank you, Pansy. I’ll place them with the rest,” he smugly said as a teen on the shorter side with wild hair and round spectacles passed by. Draco made sure Harry Potter had a good view of all the valentines gifts he had received, “I thought potter would have at least get a chocolate frog from that mud blood girlfriend of his.” Harry rolled his eyes he was not going to engage with Malfoy today but of course Draco never let Harry have it his way, “What, disappointed your Weasley boyfriend couldn’t afford you a valentines gift!”
Harry spun around, he was about to jinx the Slytherin but then halted when the teen looked paler than usual and wasn’t looking at Harry with that signature triumphant look. In fact Draco wasn’t looking at Harry at all but just above his head, Harry looked behind him two see Tenko, Tomura, Touya, and Katsuki standing a little farther to the side behind him.
“Now, Draco, it's not nice to bully the Gryffindor,” Tomura, the older sixth year Slytherin twin, said in a mocking tone who Harry had thought only Snape was capable of.
Tenko chuckled next to his twin, “Oh, c’mon Malfoy isn’t stupid enough to challenge a Triwizard champion who just went against a dragon.” Draco’s pale cheeks blushed and bit his bottom lip.
“You Slytherin are always giving our Golden boy a hard time,” Touya, a sixth year Gryffindor patted Harry’s head and gave the younger Gryffindor a grin. Harry brushed Touya’s hand away, he didn’t like being called the Golden boy, “You have to be more humble like Potter, Malfoy. Don’t you agree, Bakugou?”
Draco’s skin prickled as Bakugou’s eyes landed on him, Harry also felt uncomfortable and feared for Draco, everyone knew the Gryffindor’s dislike for Slytherin’s despite his favorite teacher being Snape. Bakugou Katsuki a fourth year like Harry was a proud Gryffindor, smart, hardworking and a natural at everything but he had been a loud mouth bully the three years before but the blonde had mellowed out, he was still loud every now and then but he seemed more mature and slightly dangerous. Harry knew that his change of attitude had to do some with Izuku.
“Scram,” Bakugou, who was taller, looked down at Draco and spoke in a thick voice. The pale blonde flinched as Goyle and Crabbe got arm full of Draco’s valentines gifts and followed quickly behind Draco who tripped over his own feet as he ran away with his tail tucked between his legs, well if had one Harry thought it would do just that.
Harry stood awkwardly, he glanced at the four but quickly looked away, “Uh thanks-.” He didn’t know how to interact with these guys without Izuku being around, they weren’t unfriendly but they weren’t someone you’d easily sit down to eat with and have a chat with. The only who can handle these boys was the green haired boy himself-
“Hi, Harry!” Izuku pushed between Tenko and Touya to be in front of Harry, “Are you okay? I just saw Draco leave, did he do something?” He looked back sternly at the four older students behind him, “You four didn’t do anything to Harry?”
“Huh?” Bakugou bared his teeth causing Izuku to flinch.
Tomura and Tenko spoke at the same time, “You wound us, Izuku. How can you think that we would ever do anything to the precious Harry Potter.”
“Can you blame him?” Touya smiled, he lifted a hand to pat Izuku's hair. Unlike Harry, Izuku didn’t push the other’s hand away, “We’re a bit mischievous.” The older Gryffindor was placing some curly strands of green behind Izuku's ear, “But don’t worry we were actually fending off that weasel, he was bad mouthing your friend here and we thought we’d do a good deed and help Harry out, Isn’t that right Harry?”
“Uh, y-yeah they actually came by when Malfoy was being unpleasant,” Harry blushed seeing Touya’s hand linger on Izuku’s cheek but Harry quickly tensed when he saw the other three behind the older Gryffindor look at Touya coldly and glance at Izuku with want.
“You had some fuzz,” Touya pulled his hand away as he flicked away some fuzz naked to the human eye.
“Thank you,” Izuku smiled then turned to Harry and grabbed his hands in a warm manner that made the boy feel safe, “So how are you holding up, have any ideas for the next task. If you need any help I’m glad to help you.”
“Izuku,” four deep voices spoke at the same time sounding on edge.
Izuku and Harry jumped at the voices, Harry looked down and Izuku clung closer to the spectacle boy, looking cautiously over at their schoolmates. “Yes?”
It was Tenko who spoke, he smiled gently, “We’d like to give you our Valentine’s chocolate.”
“Bakugou, let us know your favorite was that muggle candy called Forrero Rocher, we recreated,” Tomura said while Bakugou just grunted.
Touya smiled, “You can be the judge of who made it the worst, we have it back in my room, we’d like to give it to you.”
Izuku let go of Harry and looked a bit guilty, “What? I didn’t get you guys anything, I um I’ll see if I have enough the next time I go to Honeydukes.” He muttered to himself.
“Do you want them or not, Deku?” Bakugou sighed, sounding annoyed.
“N-Now? oh ah yes! Let’s go, thank you,” Izuku stuttered out and then looked at Harry, “I’ll see you in Potions, bye Harry!” He walked away faster when he realized the older boys had started walking away.
Harry finally breathed. Not realizing he was holding his breath, Merlin, did those four make him jittery. He didn’t know how Harry could be around them. He then smiled and realized that those four really had a soft spot for Izuku if they made chocolate for him. Harry was about to head to the dinning hall where Ron and Hermoine were waiting for him when he heard two girls next to him.
A short brunette Hufflepuff sighed and the other a Gryffindor who slouched with long green hair tilted her head. “I really wanted to give Deku my chocolate, Touya and Tenko I can handle but Tomura and Katsuki are too scary,”said the Hufflepuff girl and then thought for a moment, “I wonder if he’ll be at the dining hall in a bit?”
“I wouldn’t count on it,” The Gryffindor girl croaked out, “actually I don’t even think you’ll have a chance.”
“Tsuyuu, that’s mean!”
“You’re a lovely girl Ururaka but I heard a rumor that those four were spotted by Moaning Myrtle in the second-floor girls bathroom making love potions for Izu,” Tsuyuu sighed.
“No way, and he just went willingly?” Ururaka looked at the direction Izuku disappeared earlier.
“I doubt they told him that,” Tsuyuu began to walk towards the dining hall. “I’m hungry.”
“The Shimura twins and Bakugou are as good as Snape at Potions and I haven't heard of Touya ever failing a class! Shouldn’t we do something!?” She trailed behind Tsuyuu as Harry watched them leave.
“The professors will take care of it if it gets out of hand.”
Harry stood there, he bit his lip. What could he do, three were older than him and one was advanced even though they were in the same grade. Harry was sure they wouldn’t hurt Izuku but to go as far to make a love potion? Moaning Myrtle isn’t a liar so he was sure she wasn’t just starting some rumor. He hurried to the dining hall, Harry had to tell Hermoine and Ron.
Hopefully, they can help and if it gets bad he’ll ask Dumbledore. Harry would go as far as to ask Snape for help if it meant helping Izuku.
Harry didn't see Izuku or Katsuki in potions, later that day he heard that the Shimura Twins didn’t show up for their Defense Against the Dark Arts class and a disheveled Touya Todoroki was said to be seen by Dobby grabbing a pitcher of water from the kitchens.
