Sundays
Since moving into his own apartment, Albus loved Sundays. Just an extra day to chill with his boyfriend, no other guys running around his room when he was trying to nap, or the godawful smell that they brought in after a full afternoon of playing Quidditch, no more having to wake up early because everyone just had zero respect and opened up the curtains as soon as they woke up, no more having to run to get the tiniest bits of breakfast before it was over…Yeah, Albus loved Sundays.
He loved how he didn’t have to wake up early on the last day of the weekend anymore… Even if Scorpius sometimes did. It didn’t actually bother Albus, as long as he didn’t light up the room when he was still sleeping, although he would prefer that they would wake up together and did absolutely nothing for the rest of the day. But Scorpius was studying to be a healer, while also taking an internship while also having to maintain a bare minimum of socializing in his life, so that sometimes did mean waking up early to study or do some homework.
But surprisingly, Scorpius was happy about that. He was happy to be waking up early and using up his Sundays as extra studying days if it meant he would be the best healer in the history of healers.
That was why it was always a pleasure to Albus when he woke up, walked into the kitchen, and saw Scorpius, already dressed and drinking a cup of tea while he studied, making that movement with his lips that he did when he was focused and having those big eyes he had when he was fascinated with something. It was even better when he looked up from his book, noticing Al, and directing a big sweet smile at him that Albus always, even if involuntarily, smiled back to.
Yeah, Albus loved sundays.
