Watching the young witch walk and enter the door that leads further down the mansion, the two stood next to each other allowing their gaze to admire the creatures in the garden. Both waited to see who would be the one to break the silence first. Arthur sighed tiredly wanting to get this over with, opening his mouth but before he could say anything a harsh sting met his left cheek. Olivia shook in rage, knuckles clenched tightly, and the hand she smacked Arthur with lowered down.

"Comment osez-vous poser la main sur elle!?"   ("How dare you lay a hand on her!") she yelled furiously and punched him in the face before gripping onto the front of his shirt and slamming him against the wall. She glared down at him as she yelled out her disappointments. "Ma propre filleule ! !! Fils de pute ! Si Marie était là, elle aurait été déçue par toi !"  ("My own goddaughter!! You son of a bitch! If only Marie was here, she would have been disappointed in you!")

Arthur's eyes remained hollow, filled with a deep amount of sadness and grief till his deceased wife's name came out of their friend's lips. "Vous n'avez pas le droit de prononcer son nom !"  ("You don't have the right to speak her name!"), he growled out.

"Oh, vraiment,"   ("Oh really now,") she smirks. "Vous n'êtes pas non plus en position de dire de telles choses".  ("You are not in the position to say such things either.")

Olivia releases her grip on him and walks towards the front of the window again. "Je vous avais prévenus des conséquences d'un tel rituel et Marie connaissait mieux que quiconque les conséquences négatives d'un lien avec une veela."   ("I had warned you both the consequences of performing such a ritual and Marie knew much as anyone the negative consequences that come with completing a veela bond.")

Arthur's wide eyes look in her direction in shock, "Comment?"  ("How?")

"Comment l'ai-je su ?"   ("How did I know?"), Olivia scoffs.

"Il semble que tu aies oublié que je suis céleste, Artie. Je vois tout ce que les prophéties annoncent et le résultat final qui en découle."   ("It seems you have forgotten I am celestial, Artie. I see all that prophecy foretells and the ending result coming from them.")

She then nods looking towards his neck, "Plus ne peut pas cacher l'odeur d'un lien brisé."   ("Plus you can't hide the smell of a broken bond.")

Arthur quickly touches the right side of his bandage shoulder, fingers ghostly touching the black bite Veela bond. The black veins oozing from the bond's source pulsed in a burning impulse making him dig his nails into his palm to keep from screaming in pain. Shivers ran down his spine as his heart immediately stung wanting to be in the presence of his other half. Who sadly was buried six feet underground.

Tears ran down his cheeks as all the bottled-up emotions of loneliness, sadness, and grief that he tried so desperately not to show. "...Cela fait 10 ans..,"   ("...It has been 10 years..") he barely managed to stay strong enough to those words.

"..Je sais que,"  ("..I know,") tears stream down Olivia's cheeks as well.

"Je suis surpris que vous soyez encore en vie. On dit que la douleur de la rupture d'un lien donne l'impression que le cœur est poignardé un millier de fois à plusieurs reprises. On dit même que les compagnons se suicident dans les premiers mois tant ils se sentent perdus et vides."   ("I am surprised you're still alive. The pain of a bond breaking is rumored to feel as if your heart is being stabbed a thousand times repeatedly. It's even said that mates would kill themselves in the first few months of how lost and empty they feel.")

She sniffs and wipes away her tears with her hand before continuing, "C'est pourquoi je viens avec une proposition".  ("That is why I come with a proposal.") She reaches into the pocket of her dress and pulls out an envelope.

Wiping his tears, he walks towards her, hesitating for a moment to take the piece of paper but he grabs it nonetheless. The envelope was a navy blue color with a golden line outlining the entire thing. On the front, it says:

To:   Ms. Aurora Belmont
        Belmont Main Ballroom
        Rue Saint - Rustique

He flips the envelope to see a golden wax seal of a winged horse on the center of it all. Opened it and pulled out a long piece of paper stating,

Dear Ms. Belmont,

We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Beauxbaton Academy of Magic.

Students shall be required to report to the Tour of Reception located on the East tower upon arrival, the dates for which shall be duly advised.

Please have all the required materials needed (the list is below) before the start of school.

We very much look forward to receiving you as part of the newly graceful generation of young bright witches.

Yours Sincerely,

O. Lavigne

Headmistress Lavigne

After reading the letter he folds it back to how it originally was. "Vous voulez que je l'envoie dans votre école?"   ("...You want me to send her to your school?")

("Yes, and you will do it. Unless you wanna deal with a custody battle?")

"Dieu non"   ("God no,") Arthur looks away annoyed and disgusted. "Le ministère est composé d'imbéciles sans cervelle. Ils sont de toute façon inutiles et essaient de jouer à des jeux d'esprit, comme si quelqu'un avait le temps de s'occuper d'eux."   ("The ministry is all brainless fools. They are useless anyway trying to play mind games like anyone has time to deal with them.")

"Je suis d'accord. Donc, toute objection à ce qui figure sur la lettre,"   ("Agreed. So any objection to what is on the letter") Olivia said sternly.

Arthur sighs, "Non"   ("No.")

"Bon,"  ("Good") she responds happily. "Je viendrai moi-même la chercher."   ("I will personally come and pick her up myself.")

She looks away from the window, at last, to glare at him, et je m'attends à ce qu'elle soit déplacée dans une "vraie chambre" plutôt que dans la chambre qu'elle occupe actuellement."   ("and I expect her to be moved to an 'actual bedroom' than the room she is in now.") Arthur gulps, moves to stand next to her, and nods. A loud banging noise could be heard in the distance. Both of them looked towards the garden and were surprised to see a black and blue scale dragon break through the chamber's gates. But it wasn't the dragon they were looking at exactly but the young princess taking flight on it.

Olivia laughs amused by what they just saw, "Ha!! Regardez-moi ça ! On dirait qu'elle a la malice de sa mère en elle après tout."   ("Ha!! Would you look at that? Looks like she has her mother's mischief inside her after all.")

Arthur gazed at the figures as they grew smaller and smaller the higher they went up. A small smile made its way to his lips as he looked at the dragon dancing in the lightning. "Oui, il semblerait que ce soit le cas"   ("...Yea..looks like she does.")
