Understanding
(Percy POV
When the red head woke up he was instantly on alert, looking at them like wild animals, Percy was getting tired of those looks.
“Be a good boy and go back into your cage and bring your pack with you” the man said slowly as if he was talking to a bunch of toddlers
“Umm why are you acting like we can’t understand you”
Startled the man looked up in surprise.
“You guys can speak in complete sentences”
“Yeah did you assume we can’t?”
“Um well Um I just didn’t think, you see I was”
“whatever my guy I don’t care” Nico said, he than turned to the group of demigods “I think I should just knock the idiot out again”
“Nico No”
“Nico yes”
Sighing Percy ignored his two arguing cousins and Opted to watch the man’s face twist and turn with confusion and realization.
“I’m sorry, we really didn’t know, we’re better uhhh”
“Didn’t know what? You’ve treated us like animals since you’ve found out about us even now I bet you think of us as nothing more than a new and fancy pet”
Will nodded along to Nico rant, Percy couldn’t help but agree.
Surprisingly it was Jason who spoke next.
“What’s your name”
“Charlie”
“Nice to meet you Charlie I’m Jason, the emo kid is Nico his sunshine lover over there is Will and the guy you have captured a couple days back is Percy”
“Yeah it’s Percy not Neptune, honestly are you guys are not creative at all”
The three other demigods busted out laughing when they heard the name, Percy could practically here the future taunts they would make him go through.
“Look I just want to see the wizarding world and we need a guide so are you in”
“Wait what?”
“I said are you in, I could always let Nico knock you out again and we could go wreck Havoc by ourselves”
Upon hearing Percy’s statement Charlie quickly agreed, it was late at night so most of the shops in Diagon ally were closed but it didn’t stop the four boys from having fun.
Eventually the four became five after Charlie slowly got integrated into their fun, when they left the ally they where all laughing and giggling like a group a gossiping teenage girls.
A nearby Ferris wheel was still open, Charlie admitted he never been on one because ‘it was a muggle thing to do’ he was forced on and almost had a heart attack when the Percy started to rock the seat thingy(Percy doesn’t know what it’s called) back and forth.
All and all both sides learn something new from one another.
He knew the wizards are not all bad but he also knows the society has many deep rooted problems that never truly get addressed or are considered the norms like slavery with house elves.
When they pointed this out Charlie himself was shocked and admitted to never have cared to much about such things.
The world the wizard created was problematic sometimes outright wrong in their ideals but Percy had to admit he could see good.
(Harry’s pov)
Hogwarts announce that the students would get a couple days off after the pink toad, I mean Headmistress Pink toad had to go to the ministry for emergency business. Last night a demigod escaped, no one knows how the creature managed.
It was the talk of the wizarding world, many countries criticizing Britain for loosing such a rare animal, many different Theories ranging from Cults to teleportation floated about.
Hermione herself had so many theories it made Harry’s head hurt.
Thankfully she was taking a break from her theorist ways, right now she was trying to explain a safe way for the ministry to capture the demigod, she was met with Ron’s rolled eyes
“I could capture it without a wand, it wouldn’t even be that hard”
Hermione only scuffed at the statement and looked ready to refute when they heard a call from Mrs.Weasley to come down stairs and eat some breakfast.
They hurried down stairs to get some food, most of the order were there even Dumbledore.
They seemed to have finished their meeting(which according to the twins spying involved missing and massacre death eaters) most were getting up to leave.
Surprisingly Charlie Weasley also sat at the table eating some breakfast.
“When did you get here Charlie”
He turned towards us, he had bags under his eyes and looked extremely tired, “got here early this morning, I don’t have work right now given the fact that the demigod escaped”
“Shouldn’t you have work than?” Asked Hermione
“Nah the ministry took over everything”
“Oh sweetie I’m so sorry I knew how much you loved studying the creature”
“Yeah mom, he was interesting” Charlie replied with a mysterious smile that even made Dumbledore confused.
Than there was a knock at the door.
Everyone went quiet, Mad-eye moody got up slowly and quietly, Sirius followed both of their wants where raised.
Everyone held their breath, most worried or scared given the fact that 12 Grimmauld Place shouldn’t exist to the outside eye
Both men, stood before the door wands pointed ready for the Person to attack or try to break in, the rest of the adults all grabbed their wands as well.
Nothing happened
“Well you all seem like the welcoming type”
The group whipped around to see a teenager standing in the shadows, a dangerous grin adorning his face.
Harry has never met a demigod but he knows how they are described, human-like creatures with unique and powerful aura surrounding them.
It didn’t take long for Harry to find out that this creature was a demigod.
“Nico what are you doing here?”
“Hello Charlie, I was simple going to visit but than I heard this little group of your talk about the most interesting topic, something to do with death eaters”
He smiled but the temperature in the door dropped and the group couldn’t help but feel like they had the bony hands of death gripping them by their shoulders waiting for them to make the wrong move, all where scared, all but Charlie.
“Stop messing with them Nico”
Instantly the feeling went away and everything went back to normal
“I was just joking, no harm in that right” he giggled at his ‘joke’
“Well anyways I heard you discussing my efforts to killing the death eaters, and now I’m interested in you little group is anyone gonna explain this club of your to me”
